Elias, Show us you day, Your way. God Bless
God what I'd do to see a collab between you and Steve from Key West Kayak Fishing. Been watching both for years!
Brother a nice mix bag. That’s what I love about salt water fishing. You just never know what will be biting.
Cero much better than Spanish. Inshore Reef fishing is always fun. Here in the Lower Keys, we often pick up large Mackerel in under 30 feet of water with a slow troll. Great video. Tight lines!
Hello Elias. the fact that you got to the trouble of explaining the structure to us and all the other considerations that are there ...really makes the video coverage more interesting. You sure provide great vids. Just enjoy the shit out of them I'm working Sat,, Sun, Mon, Tue Wed, This week. Will be back out on Thursday or Friday. Which ever looks best. Thinking about heading to Smallwood Store area.
I appreciate you bringing us in on your search of the area. Helps teaching us!
Oh good ! I always look forward to you fishing where you might find a spinner ! this follows on from the glorious ten seconds or so when Salty Kayak was attached to a Wahoo !! ( well it could have been a King, but by the splash as it was going somewhere else it would have had to be a big one).
Hey Elias, you need to take a kayak camping trip to Fort Jefferson in the Dry Tortugas on one of your Florida trips.
speaking of keywestkayak, you and him both have the same exact number of subscribers at the time of me writing this lol, that's cool!
A comment earlier talked about the same thing…if you’ll wrap the straight shank of the lead head with dental floss and then add a few drops of super glue, then add your tube/rubber jig. It sounds like a lot of work, put you will definitely get a longer life out of the tube/jig. Just try it once and you will be a believer. Stay safe and God Bless! Happy New Year!
It is great to see you excited. You have your area dialed in. Its nice to see you in a new environment ans excited
Nice mutton snapper at least you didn't get skunked by the shark's! Enjoyed the video as always and can't wait for the next one!
Great to see you having fun, Elias.
Glad you make new video's during the Northeast boredom Period of Jan-March
Great day on the water. Looks like the Keys are beautiful this time of year. You definitely had a nice haul there. Keep the wonderful videos coming. Have fun and be safe.
Elias thank you for taking us fishing with you everyday.
Beautiful day ... good fish ... great way to start the year.
Fishing vicariously with you Elias. Loving the Keys content!
Nice day brother, hope you and your family enjoy those fishes. Happy New Year
99% sure you were next to me at 7 mile Friday. I was in a camo G3 aluminum boat. Didn’t wanna interrupt your fishing but seeing you there told me I was in the right spot!
Happy New Year! I have definitely been enjoying the Keys content. I was in Florida before Christmas, and we killed the snook, trout and pompano it's a great fishery.
Being a Carolina boy always enjoy your home videos but fun to see your other adventures as well. Informative and enjoy them! Keep it up!
Living vicariously through your fishing adventures is the best cure for bitter winter blues. Best content by far!
Really enjoying this series,thanks Elias
I won’t lie I’m not on your videos all the time but when I do it’s great stuff , your content and video editing actually keeps me watching the entire video without skipping into the better scenes . Keep it up 👍🏻
I was just down in FL keys the same place for vacation with family over the holidays, I didn't have time to go fishing :( thanks for checking the place out for us! I'll be back for sure! Great video my friend once again! Happy new year
Good stuff as usual. Cannot believe that pin fish stayed down that long without getting chewed.
Got to give that Lizardfish some props. Its a long swim from NC to keys to get on your hook.
Keys content has been great, so many species potentially available. Wished I could have seen what you missed on those hard strikes (minus the danged sharks). Thanks as always!
Shout out to Steve!!!!!!!!!!
I still remember that you facilitated a camera from him.
If you're looking for how he fish that area, probably ly the word winter will help more..
In my opinion you guys should do a colab. straight up fishing
I grew up in South Florida and I never even saw a pinfish until I moved to the Tampa Bay area in 1995.
Congrats Elias. Good catch and beautiful weather. Keep posting for the rest of the days you will be staying in the Keys.
The powerprawn is snapper candy for sure, we killed it the other day
Love your content, watched a ton of your vids last night. Instant subscriber.
Hello Elias thanks for your videos. Is possible someday to show how do you manage or to use the fish finder, to find the path reef or structures?
Congrats on a nice mutton! 💪💪 On a Power Prawn USA, too!
Hey elias you are such a good fisher man i know lots of people have learn alot from you keep videos coming winter is too long
Looks like fun , have a great New Year!
Build the bite with chum I always heard down there, put as much action in the water one can bring out there
Can’t beat reef jigging. Love the keys content
looks nice, did 2 weeks over xmas in FL and it froze and it blew! ha
Will be back down in March.
Love fishing the reefs and wrecks down there!
Next step on the yak is a boat!
Love your vids man. Keep it up 🔥
The next step after keeper mutton is keeper black grouper! Happy New Years and keep up the amazing videos❤

Another great video.
Thanks Elias
Thank so much for the great video, Elias! Happy belated 36th Birthday! 🎣👍🥳
Great trip so far! Bought some of your Mac jigs been killing inshore redfish in ICW. Will be purchasing more.
Nice waterfish, i would really like to have a boat to catch a waterfish like that.
Great video! Has to be more relaxed fishing not having to worry about your buddy Justin being lost at sea 😂😂 Happy New Year!!!
LMAO @ "I think I can eat him". Nice video E...good fishing!
Noticed a couple of comments telling me I won a big prize from you, gee! Thanks. Great video
I miss the keys i fished there most of my life good to see your fishing it was e beautiful mutton wish i got a fillet of that thanks
Next investment is a kayak! Gonna start getting out around Hilton head, SC. Thanks for the inspiration
Loaded, thank u
Them lizard fish are killer grouper baitz!!!
looks like you updated your gear👍 shimano and a custom rod, sweet🤙
Dude Hats off to you on this trip. Good artificial catches. Got me fired up to go out as well
Slice that Cerro up for sashimi! Happy new year, Bud!
Have you ever done a show from the Hilton Head area? I'm hunting for a smaller center console to fish with my wife (we love fishing) - haven't found one. Wondering if you ever get to these parts fishing... All the best in the new year, love your channel. Al
Great Video.
love your content mate
Great video
Those are all delicious fish, but the cero mackerel makes the best sashimi! Do yourself a favor and try it on the next one. 👍
hey Elias. what works for me for the bugs is skin so soft.. it works for no-see-ums really good👍
My cousin uses ridiculously long leaders when trolling for mutton in the keys. Same setup as you were using with the pin but like 15ft+. Said it has something to do with how far off the bottom the pins float up. Dumbest thing I saw in a while but it definitely worked. It might explain why they were hitting the jigs.
They are also very spooky, if they see the sand disturbed from sinker bouncing they'll get scared off. Shorter leaders can work, you just have to work extra hard to keep sinker either just off the bottom, or not bouncing.
At one time "yellowtail" was the premo of snappers. They were over fished and you could hardly catch one even on the reefs. If you go out at night you will see that shrimp are as common as snowflakes in a blizzard. Try a pin fish on ledges that are known to produce large grouper and you will do well. We used to cast net them on the flats and used them in the shipping channels in the southern part of Old Tampa Bay. Greenbacks and menhaden worked as well but were more prone to being eaten by smaller predator fish of all kinds. Ok unless you are specifically targeting gags. We did all that very well from about 6 miles from the house. Good video. Thanks.
Congratulations you're selectly gifted a price
thanks for watching
hit up ❤️🌲
The spanish mackeral just like: Ah hello my frend what brings you so far south at this time, quite the coincidence meeting here isnt it?
I'm pretty jealous. Hopefully I can get to the keys and fish the pier.
great video
Very nice fishing🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🙋♂️
I have always thought you and key west kayak should do a colab
Brooklyn Boy at heart ❤️
Try live shrimp on a tiny jig head like 16th oz or just hook and split shot for the mutton and big mangroves. Can also use small pieces of squid. It’s better if you chum and just let it drift back with the current. Good luck.
Some of the best fishing content on youtube! Keep it up Elias!
Congrats on getting Marvel as an advertiser!! 👍👍👍
Great video! What Scent do you use on the lures?
Spanish are some of the prettiest fish solid trip
I all way watch your video!
What were you looking for on the map when scouting areas to fish? I'm planning a keys trip end of January and was curious to what structure you were targeting.
Interested in how you mount your cameras. Shots taken facing (forward) the bow, seem like you have the camera mounted on your body. Alternatively, shots taken while facing (rearward) stern must be pole-mounted. Can you give me an idea of what works best?
Do you have any recommendation on fish cooler bags?
congratulations elias what place is that thank you
Yellowtail snapper is excellent tablefare
AWESOME VIDEO DUDE 🤙🤙🤙WHAT BRAND OF " FISH KILL BAG " IS THAT YOUR USING??? THANKS ✌
Sungguh luar biasa keseruan mancing nya brooo
When you Evan surprise 😮 yourself, it's great content. 👍 nice mutton. H.N.Y. thanks for sharing.
Good morning brother
Great chanel..
What brand soft side cooler is that? To all new people here, you just found your favorite fishing channel.
Buffalo gear 40”
nice clip
@eliasvfishing do you cut the pins off the pin fish before or just keep them prickly bait stealers on reg? Spots do about the same?
I’ve tried both ways and haven’t noticed much of a difference.
Those ceros are better than Spanish to eat, great sashimi, one of my favorite fish to eat
Love your channel & your laid-back attitude. I'm a s.w. FL native with 50 years of fishing experience. I can tell you that pin fish are bait but not good bait. There are far better options that have less spines.
Sharks make pretty good gamefish i think, long and good fights. Takes skill too to catch em imo.
Those markers are floats for crab traps
You should move to Florida bro, your channel would do alot better here in Florida
Cero makes for some nice sushi.
That mackerel was headed out to the reef too.with some big teeth.
