  • BACK ON THE ROCKS! My first trip out rock fishing after knee surgery and it felt great. It's also a chance to use some of the fishing tackle I've bought while being stuck in the house thinking about fishing whilst not actually being able to go.
    One particular australian lure catches loads of fish, but can it catch a pollack.

    Eyup Nathan. I got that same reel about three weeks ago and found myself using my left hand more. Insert gag here. It's always good to see you next to some proper water. Stay well now fella. I'm starting to find the Bass now - lots to learn but I'm on my way I think. Thank you for all the inspiration. I'll sithi after! Dave.

    • @SlippyLimpets
      @SlippyLimpets  11 дней назад

      Alreet Dave, Being able to use both hands is a big advantage for when one gets tired! Brilliant little reels, I think i prefer the BG Mag sealed one, it has an anti-reverse for shite anglers like me and is a wee bit slower on the retrieve than the MQ. Still, I really like the MQ it's as smooth as Gazza's head and doesn't cost a bomb. Glad your finding the bass!! Tight lines👍🎣

      @@SlippyLimpets That's the thing - you have to spin the bail arm manually to get to an accurate casting point and flick it off if you wind too far. All left hand work if your a righty like me. Cheers fella!

    Good to see you back out on the rocks again mate, and your knee is fighting fit again. I've never had a sniff on the lazy lures but I have been doing a lot with casting jigs. The pollack go mad for them. Sink and draw, fall like a slow jig.
