Something I found interesting, as much as in a video like yours, or Paleohiker MD , is that the best method of putting the Trangia burner inside is to use the solid plate on the lowest setting. This does two things, at least with the very minimal adjustment I did to the tabs. I don't even remember really messing with the tabs, I think they all just bent slightly over time due to use. 1. Using the plate provides an almost spot on 1" distance from the burner to the pot (as I understand that is supposed to be ideal.) 2. Since the edges of the burner are not confined by the top slot there is more room for the simmer ring to open up in.
Esbit Stainless Steel Stove and Pot Stand is similar in that a Trangia burner fits without that ring for Trangia Triangle. 2 heights for burner or fuel plate is made in Titanium is main difference. I have the Esbit.
I snagged this before they went out of stock again, I’m very please . Felt a little hard to figure out from the packet even more so when trying to film but by the end I felt like a pro with it lol
Firebox is coming out with a modular version of their hinged titanium stove. Personally I use their nanog2. Works well enough with my Evernew but supposedly works better with the Trangia. I could recommend it if you wand a few extra dollars to experiment with. Great video sir!

Combine your Lixada two piece windshield / pot stand with two bars of the Toaks Wood Stove Cross Stand. I cut my Argos ti triangle down by 30mm and castelated the top. A 25mm and 28mm x 10mm top cut outs ie leaving three support legs per side. A centeral support as per original and a support each end. So it better supports larger diameter pots. Thanks for sharing.
4:06 - Can use a Dremel cut dist an open a slot in one for be able to adjust the simmer ring more, if want. Or instead use a simmer ring made with a boton of small soda, tomato paste...can, will work like the 1970's Tragia simmer ring and concentrate the flames in the center of the pot. See in Hiram Cook videos.

With the Trangia triangle you can use alcohol, gas and gel burners. Its not really an alternative to the Trangia triangle, you are comparing apples with pears.
Having both, I prefer the Triangle. Why? You can use the Trangia’s simmer lid.

You are supposed to put the burner in during assembly. the walls will bend around it and the "hooks" will mach the "cuts"
