I use my Trangia burner more than any of my other stoves it's all I need for a night or two most of the year however the triangle was not for me I prefer the pot stand off the cheaper copy or the evernew .2 and steel pots or anodised pots or titanium pot. I had a look at that mess tin in a shop and found a plastic spork scratched it?!?! though that alcohol burner is fantastic I had no issue with the copy but used it so often I owed it to Trangia to buy theirs and it is better blooms faster and just seems better quality.
Can only be ordered directly from Trangia swedens website currently. Mine is arriving by dhl soon. Approx 24 euros + 18 euros delivery to Australia. Pretty expensive so i ordered a few items for the same delivery fee to make it worthwhile.
I heard there is a patent problem whit the Triangle in USA. Think they are to similar to the click stand. That's the rumor anyway. So no, they will not send the Triangle to USA.
I got a trangia triangle from Jackson Sports in Belfast 2 months ago, was 42us dollars? Plus shipping, like 10 bucks to Alaska. They might still have some, I sure like mine!

its better than most alcohol stoves due to the shape and how deeply the burner sits inside but for best results I would protect any stove from wind for best results
The simmer ring works inside the triangle it opens to about 90% the trangia 28 is the mini stove and a different set up do you want to know if the triangle will fit folded up inside the pot ?
@@MrRourk folded down the triangle Won't fit inside the T28 pot but the pot fits great on top of the triangle the lip lines up with the windshield burner pot supports
Most people want to know how quickly it can boil water I have seen badly designed stove take 40 minutes to boil water and others fail completely in the slightest breeze regards mike
@@kisbushcraftdownunder The goal is to find one small cooking system that will support 350/750ml plus frying pans, pots and rectangular mess tins. I’ve yet to come across one. Thank you.
Further comment and question - will the burner support ring sit on the top with the three tabs sitting over the three tabs that stick up ? That would show how easy it would be to add a grill. Also it looked on the video like the support ring tabs did not really push through the slots in the side well and was pressing the sides of the triangle out ? Wondered if they should be pushed through further
Proud to be from Sweden, excellent review👏👏👍😊🇸🇪
Sweden 🇸🇪 has a good reputation for making good things and great steels regards Mike

Trangia has the right burner often copied but they seem to have the best combination of quick to bloom and are durable
Any idea on price? Also, are these available in the States? Thanks and keep up the great content!

I think only available direct from trangia at the moment and they seem to run out off stock regularly

How is this new product different from the old one? It seems that the performance is the same. Thanks
The burner support ring is different I suspect if like the one I had it could come loose after time
How does it handle the wind? Do you need a separate wind shield?

Can you work the simmer ring?
Does it fit inside the Trangia 28?

What i cant understand is your doing a review of the trangia triangle why do a boil test its a review of the triangle im puzzled

I’m going to be honest, I personally don’t like it. The fact your smaller cups don’t fit it. I will not be purchasing it.
Thanks for review
For small cups the Evernew DX stove stand is great and multi fuel regards Mike

That’s what would put me off. It would not take much for them to add in a circular mesh grill to sit on the top
