Man, you've got some loud wind chimes. Btw, the versatility of the Firebox Stove never ceases to amaze me. It works with biomass, alcohol, solid fuel, and now also the Trangia Gas Burner. What an amazing system! Hey, thanks for the great demo, my friend!
I almost gave up on getting the adapter to fit through the opening and was thinking about a pocket rocket. Thank you for the video, all good to go now. I can't wait to try it out.
🎉 That sure looked good! I hope you shared some with your 2 best friends! Im sure they would share their food with you if you asked! I also like your setup there!
Thank you this was what I was looking for. I just bought the Nano Stove and I just realized that where I live only gas stoves are allowed in the backcountry. So when I looked up Firebox, they actually didn't have a video yet of them FULLY installing the Trangia Gas Burner WITH the Nano, they just showed how to get the end through the hole. This confirmed my thoughts of if the side corner pins of the nano held the burner in place instead of the cross beams like the original firebox, they do! Thanks for this video.
I’m a huge fan of everything Firebox, looks like you are too! Great video! Thanks for sharing your tips - especially on the adapter hookup - good to know! Almost makes me wish I would have jumped in on that sale Firebox had on those burners. Oh well. Maybe next time. But I do have to say - Rudy’s closeup at 7:31 - he stole the show - such a cutie!
Rudy’s a natural with the camera...lol!! I picked up the Trangia on that sale and pretty pleased with the decision. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment!
I got the stainless steel Nano stove and not much later upgraded to the Titanium one. The titanium cools in 1/3 the time which makes it great for getting done , packing up and traveling on. At times I was wishing I could control the heat for some delicate simmering. I also needed it where I could have a low ( constant flame / heat ) over a 20 to 30 minute time span. I managed to do it when I used a gas stove and now I will be able to with the Nano.
The Trangia gas attachment adds a lot of versatility to the Firebox Stove cook system. I also have both stoves and especially enjoy the 5” stove on my front porch for a warm fire and a quick brew. Thanks for the great review on your creative outdoor kitchen set up.
I have the 5" firebox and just recieved my trangia gas burner. Love it! One thing I was thinking about though is what about just using a pocket rocket compared to the trangia gas burner? Granted it would not be compatible with the firebox but it would allow you to use the firebox while also using the pocket rocket 🤷♂️
Funny I just bought the same setup and requested steve at firebox stove to do a video about using propane with the stove because it is supposed to work better at cold temperatures I only have the nano fire box but plan to try it with propane set up thanks for the video
Great video. I plan to buy the gas bur er for my SS nano firebox and needed to see it in action. This way i will have 3 options for fuel with my stove. Also I love your outdoor kitchen setup.
I skipped over the adapter on all my orders thinking without looking that it was just one to fill the 1 pounders from the bbq tanks I definitely got to place another order
What? You don't like dog butts in videos? I got a Fire Box back in February and still haven't broke it out yet. I picked up a Primus 3271 gravity stove awhile back at a store. I'm hoping it will fit in the Firebox. It's starting to cool off and the skeeter are dying off and Fall in in the air. I really need to get out and cook something up! Burritos are always good!
I’m a big fan of burritos! Breakfast, lunch or dinner it don’t matter. I hope you like the Firebox as much as I do, pretty versatile stove. Hope all is well bud!
Hi, can you please post a link to the spatula? What are the overall dimensions? Also would you consider the regular size firebox in titanium good for backpacking?
I haven’t used the regular size stove in titanium. If the weight is reasonable the added volume might be worth it if you do more than just boil water. I think these are the spatulas I purchased - www.amazon.com/Stainless-Cookie-Spatulas-Slotted-Spatula/dp/B00CJG33D4
The cutest part of the video is when Ruddie looks right into the camera.

Rudy totally made the video a huge hit! Nothing but love in those eyes. I hate that they leave us too soon. Great video, Scott!
Thank you Jacob! I really appreciate the comment. I’ll give Rudy a scratch behind the ears on your behalf!
Excellent demonstrations. Very rare to find explanations at these detailed level. Thank you
Thank you and thanks for watching.

Awesome Firebox cooking! Great explanation of the gas burner and adapter as well!
Thanks Steve. Really glad I added the Trangia to the kit!
Always enjoy your videos, I like the outdoor kitchen. Dogs are always fun.
Thanks Chev! I always appreciate your comments and thanks as always for watching!

@@ScottOut-n-About I got my nano, and I just ordered my trangia burner. I'm excited to put them to use in the back country. Thanks!
I love the fact this trangia gas burner leaves no soot behind like wood. Talk about clean burning! :)

Thanks Chris!
Which do you prefer to use the Nano or the G2 with the trangia burner?
Great demonstration. Is that a GSI kettle you are using?
隔热板装上可以使用 firebox g2 嘛?
thank you for this demonstration :-) Is that the gsi coffee filter? How do you find that? :-)
Great video.Thanks a lot !!!!
Thank you!!
May I ask where did you buy the pan?
That’s the 8” Pinnacle fry pan I purchased from Fireboxstove.com
@@ScottOut-n-About Thanks, been looking all over for this.
