Oh, you made my mouth water with your lovely fondue. Very nice cabin. I know what you mean though, it used to take us almost a day to heat up our cabin in the winter. The mattresses were the worst. They suck the heat out of you so much. To bad you got the flu but it happens. Great video!!
Hey A J! Thx for watching! Starting to feel a bit better today! I was able to reach 18 Celsius in the cabin at 10pm! It was the best I could do with the brutal temperature out there. Cheers! Pat
Good idea making the fondue in broth. I have only ever had it in Austria and its cooked in a pan of hot oil. What about using one of your skewers and cutting it to the size of the pot with reversed loops at either end. You could then keep the bail wire in an upright position but maybe not so good for stiring or cooking fondue? Easy to swivel out the way.Hope your feeling better. Cheers Mary
Hiya Mary! It's amazing how many variation of that dish there is around the world. A fondue in oil is awesome as well. I might try your idea for the bail. Or I'll keep using gloves which aint so bad! Still feeling under the weather but a bit better each day! Thx so much for watching! Cheers! P
well fondue origin is french and it is traditionally made in a alcohol stove directly on the table. so it stay at the perfect temp during the whole meal i2.cdscdn.com/pdt2/1/0/0/1/700x700/inv3244331023100/rw/service-a-fondue.jpg
What a beautiful cabin. Stove is a work of art.
The shaking pot scene was hilarious and very well filmed. Well done!
Thanks for watching atb
Yes indeed. I'd have jammed a spoon or similar under the gap to stop the rattle. 😁
