I was one of the unfortunate folks who didn't check this one out until somewhat recently (about a year ago), but I'm definitely happy once I did. I admire just how seriously it took the invasion, and how *intense* it all feels, especially with how above and beyond the presentation in particular went. Such a standout entry in a season packed with experimentation.

Exactly, no matter how many times I’ve seen it (which is a lot) I always feel the tension when watching because of a lot of elements working together to pull the effect off. The lighting, the tone, and notably the soundtrack. And they have perfectly timed lighthearted comedic moments to relieve some of the tension before jumping right back into the action!! I love it so much!!

0:33 well, if I had a nickel for every time an animation RUclipsr planned on making a video about Night of the Living Pharmacists this year, I’d have two nickels. Which is not a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice.

before i got back into this show in april, i always had a memory of watching this episode when i was younger, specifically the scene where candace and vanessa are up on doof's balcony once the contagion was stopped

Same, except my memory was Phineas getting turned into a Doof zombie at the last second (I always remember endings if they were distinct enough.)

NOTLP is the best Phineas and Ferb Halloween special to me. Hands down. My all time favorite. You put all my thoughts about it into words and I applaud you. I agree about the music especially!!! The soundtrack is so eerie, atmospheric, and unlike anything we’ve ever seen in the show and I love it!! That’s one bit I think you could’ve gone more in depth with, but other than that, awesome review!! Also Doof is in it. The majority of the special is Doof, and he’s my favorite. 😁😁 severely underrated special.
Too bad we didn’t get the OG ending at 09:48 though 😭 other than that, it’s PERFECT 🤩
