Attacking Batman in his mind is the epitome of "You're trapped in here with me."
Like what happen to joker.
It'd be similar for Pennywise vs. JOKER except Freddy would get jumped by 3 personalities of Batman. Bruce Wayne, Zur-en-ar( the backup personality in case of psychological attacks), and just' The Batman '
Don't matter.
In the dream world Freddy is king.
He does not lose fights in their because he has unlimited power.
Even those that show no fear in the dream still have to run, because he is just to OP.
That's why they drag him into the real world.
It's the only way to kill him for a short while before he comes back again.
@@emoblackie45 Pennywise is an interdimensional being who feeds of more than just fear.
If Pennywise could not kill him through fear (which he can not), or corrupt him into his willing servant (which he most certainly could never do),
That just leaves good old brute force.
And being an interdimensional devourer of worlds he would just straight up rip him apart.
Pennywise is on Dr Srange level of multiversal powers fella.
Joker would be nothing to him 😂
@@user-xi3mj3mx4j I've just not seen Pennywise square up is probably why I figured it'd be an easy win for Joker. That and then I thought those he tries to instill fear in could in turn be reversed on him. Like Joker would uno reverse it and it's just Joker imagining him killing Batman over and over and over again. You are right though, brute force would be a W for Pennywise. I've just never seen him fight with the exception of the reference with a cosmic turtle
Bats better make sure he shares these plans with Dick, Tim, Damian, and Barbara: Freddy usually goes after teenagers and young adults, not older guys like him.
No he does, nancy was a adult when she got killed. Also others that are a threat
I think Batman has too much control over his fears to even dream of Freddy. He’d need some help for sure.
@@cmxb2081 because she was in his way and because she was also one of the elm street kids
@@shadowslayer2929 No that’s because Kristen pulled her in, her ability to enter afterward was likely because of her status as a former Elm Street child.
The reason Freddy primarily targets children is because their aspirations and fears are easier to manipulate & twist. While their ideal selves (which manifest as dream powers) are also quite fragile born largely of lingering fantasies making most unattainable.
Freddy really likes the YOUNG girls most....
Batman: I can't kill him since he's already dead. Gloves are off.
I was thinking the same thing but then I realized that if you kill Freddy in this world does he just respawn in the dream world?
@MrUndoe as long as people fear him, he can return

Freddy entering Batman's mind: Okay, what do we have he- fuck! Fuck! FUCK!!!!
Call Constantine to get rid of him.
Fr! Easy as pie 😂
To throw Freddy into The Lake of Everlasting Fire for All Eternity!!! 💯🤙
Scarecrow: Sounds like my kind of guy! With him backing me up, we'd terrorize all of Gotham City!
They got Robert Englund to play Scarecrow in Injustice 2, which was probably the best casting I’ve ever seen
Even Sinestro would find them useful in the Sinestro corps as a fellow yellow lantern.
Funny cause in the Freddy Kruger comics he actually hates having followers or partnerships cause they hurt his ability to go after victims.
Freddy can team with the Scarecrow and can manifest and attack people while they are awake as Scarecrow puts his fear toxin into Gotham’s food supply, water supply and into the air by exploding drones filled with the fear toxin!
Neither would tolerate the other. Each of them believe himself the "superstar" of terror. Scarecrow has shown bitter jealousy towards the Joker who generates terror just by walking down the street, and to an extent Batman himself. Freddy might find Scarecrow useful for speeding things up a bit at first, but not absolutely necessary.
He should also employ a way to make everyone forget about Freddy Kruger, erasing all records and memory of his existence.
They tried that in Freddy Vs. Jason. It was the whole reason for Freddy bringing Jason back to life and sending him to Springwood so that the cops would mention his name again.
You make a very accurate and valid point.
I'm somewhat surprised he didn't include any magical means of defense & containment.
@@uvl.g5611 Actually they did that in Freddy vs Jason and freddy used Jason to fix that. Batman's idea is to make sure Krueger doesn't die again. In the real world he's vulnerable like a human so the plan can work.
They did that in Freddy vs Jason and that backfired, so the plan to make sure Freddy doesn't die is the better choice
They did that in Freddy VS Jason and that was the whole reason he brought Jason back from the dead.
Sometimes I just watch these to further enhance my vocabulary, and maybe pick up on some sentence structures that may help me socialize more efficiently, but it's also interesting to see how Batman would realistically come up with a contingency plan for these potential opponents
I read that in Batman's voice lol

Absolutely love seeing stuff like this applied to horror movies, especially with supposedly "Invincible" enemies, because it's always so contrived as to why people can't beat them, I like to see an equally contrived reason they can be beaten.
As far as Batman's last question is concerned... No, they are not. While Superman has resistance to mental attacks to a certain degree, he's not actually immune to them. And sleeping can actually make you more vulnerable to said attacks, since it's a cool down period for both your body and mind.
In Justice League episode "Only A Dream," without Martian Manhunter's help, he wouldn't have been able to fight off Doctor Destiny's dream attacks. And without Batman taking down John Dee in the real world, Superman wouldn't actually have woken up. He was still sleeping until Dee was knocked out.
So yeah.... Freddy has a massive advantage against the Man of Steel.
Batman should also keep close magic friends like John Constantine, Jason blood and Dr. fate close by to handle the dream spirits that Freddie is connected to. If Freddy met doctors destiny or scarecrow, things would be in big trouble. Amanda Waller would have a way to contain Freddy to use him as his personal assassin. Or Senestraro or parallax, would find him useful in the core, and become a yellow lantern. Batman‘s next contingency plan should be about Hellboy.
or Zatanna but it could led in a batlle where Freddy use her fear of puppets but that would be interesting.
Surely this would be the end for Waller, does really she could handle such a monster? Freddy was very...inventive about revenge, and surely he would be very, very p****d about Waller trying to contain him!
As I figured, Batman's plan boils down to "Go to sleep then kick the shit out of him!" which is most definitely the proper path.
Unique suggestion in the form of a corrupt organization rather than a single character. I just binged a certain post apocalyptic series and thought of this.
Contingency plan code: Shelter
Subject: The Vault-Tec corporation
Maybe Batman would consider using some of Wayne's funds to hurt the company by buying it out or supporting competitors.
I think one part of the plan Batman should note is that Freddy can possess people and come into the real world with his powers like in Nightmare on Elm Street 2.he was able to spawn fire, teleport and was immune to being stab.
Even in part 6 when he was brought into the real world he could climb and walls and shapeshift so he is still a menace outside of the dream realm.

Freddy doesn't have razor sharp claws, it has blades on the glove
Aka Claws
In the dream world he can have claw, needles, and why anything that scare the living [redacted] out of you.😁
In the second and seventh movie they were part of him and not a glove.
Theres two that has claws instead of the claws one being the last movie, so it's not wrong. Plus hand with blades is basicaly a claw like Dr Claw has a has glove with sharp nails that's called a claw
The blades resemble claws to the fearful

Most likely the same bull as vs Jason. Prep time+limitless money=win vs anything. Give or take.
Batman's plan would just be to beat his ass
Keep this series going. 100%. Pure brilliance.
Plan failure at the Lobotomize part. Freddy Kruger's Dream Demon nature is of Supernatural and mystical origin more likely requiring a magic containment not alien stasis tech. As disadvantaged as Freddy would be to triggering this bat trap he would very likely escape. One way being that Freddy has limited reality altering power in the real world he can exploit and even as fire is his weakness the Boiler room which has lots of fire is his favorite battle ground.
Freddy barely escapes and form a contingency for Batman.
Yeah, but that's Freddy in the real world. The idea that if you cut off real Freddy's brain in the real world, you basically remove the concept of dream world Freddy makes a certain sense.
I guarantee Freddy would try to make Bruce live through the memory of his parents' deaths, even going so far as to pose as Joe Chill himself and making Bruce see his face as he pulls the trigger
Freddy: Uses trauma to terrorize his victims
Batman: *reverse uno*
Batman can't even keep Joker locked up, yet he thinks he can keep Krueger a prisoner?
Batman isn’t in charge of Arkham. The Joker is a citizen of Gotham and so Batman continuously puts his faith in the justice system to keep the clown locked up because Batman is insane.
That's less Batman's fault and more the fault of Gotham's corrupt system.
That’s not Batman that’s Arkham
Instead of Arkham thy should put the joker under the custody of the IRS it is the only organization he truly fear’s

I like Batman’s contingency plan for Freddy Krueger. I hope he has a contingency plan for Michael Myers, Jason Voorhees, Chucky, pinhead, Leatherface, Pennywise, Annabelle, puppet master, the grudge, or the ring.
Also, a contingency plan for siren head, slender man, or cartoon the cat.
Contingency plan for Annabelle would be to bring in Constantine. It'd barely be an afternoon for him.
Batman not killing is smart here, in the real world Freddy can be locked up in Arkham. Batman lore aside im surprised no1 in the Nightmare On Elmstreet series tried locking him away or even freezing him like Jason.

It's easier said than done. Especially since freddy knows about everyone in the afterlife. He knows all about batman and in the dream world, Even though batman has a victory plain, it's still Freddie's rules.
When dealing with the supernatural, Batman is known to seek the advice of Jason Blood. If Krueger could be tricked into entering Jason Blood's dreamscape, I doubt he'd last long against the Demon Etrigan.

The best defense would be to not know what your worst fear is. My biggest nightmare today is just a mild fear tomorrow...
This contingency is the exact reason why I was so pissed at the movie Freddy versus Jason. Jason literally has no reason to be afraid of Freddy even if you go back and watch all of the 13th films, you will see is not afraid of water therefore Freddy should not have been able to hurt Jason in the dreamworld.
And Jason takes Manhattan. There was that sewer scene where Jason went through pouring water and he turned into a little boy
That's where they got Idea for Freddy to use water

This kind of enemy is someone Batman would seek the assistance of his more mystic inclined associates. Krueger powers come from three demons so call Jason Blood and/or Zatanna to remove them from the psycho. Once those three are no longer a factor, Krueger is a regular human.

Batman should recruit Dreamer to help. With her dream-manipulation powers, she could probably pull Freddy out of the dream world without having to enter it herself.
The best part about trapping Freddy is that he only has to do it artificially until everyone forgets. After that he is trapped naturally.
Needs to directly address the dream within a dream scenario. Freddy takes advantage of everything that is in this video by having Batman wake up within the dream.
Batman would never accept Bruce Wayne’s traumas as his own.

The issue here is that Bruce does have fears... being able to continue to operate through them is obviously possible. But his fears CAN be exploited to a point Krueger can feed off them.
And that's where the man's power comes from.
Batman doesn't not have fear. He just doesn't let fear paralyze him. So he's not invulnerable to the nightmare beings manipulation.
IF he can control himself enough to bring Freddy to the real world he does stand a chance... but only if he's willing to break his rule of no murder *accidental doesn't count*.
That's still a big if.
I won't say he can't win.
But I will also add he could very easily fail.
P.S. Batman is every bit the ultimate victim in his day to day life, letting his trauma completely control Bruce by superimposing Batman over his self to avoid facing his actual fears and guilt. He turns over his life to an alter ego so he doesn't have to face reality.

This is really good
"There's one thing that never fails - a nice glass of warm milk, a little nap, and a total frontal lobotomy."
The thing is Freddy doesn't enter your dreams unless you're afraid of him. He'd target the weak links in Batman's life taking them out one by one, but he'd never enter Batmans dreams without a plan.
Say teaming up with Scarecrow. Batman has been helpless to the fear toxin on multiple occasions, only surviving through plot protection. If we're taking plot armor away, and Freddy got into his dreams while the fear toxin was active, Batman might lose.
Contingency Plan: 5 Leaf Clover
Subject: Asta
Kind of a missed opportunity not calling this plan code name: "Dream Catcher."
Freddy would honestly fit right in with Batman's rogues gallery and DC comic villains in general. Batman regularly goes toe-to-toe with beings with similar gimmicks and powers to him so of course he'd have a plan ready for an encounter.
Very cool! That was a Master Class presentation... I'm down with this counter measure... 😅
John Constantine offered me an insightful observation, on my contingency plans for supernatural threats such as this one: His only input was "That's a load of overcomplicated bollocks mate. Tell you what, clear my tab at Cobblepot's place, and i'll give my mate Danny Boy a shout for you".
In order to engage Freddy at all Batman would have to marked as a target by Freddy or be psychically linked to someone marked by Freddy in order for the door to Freddy's dream domain. While Freddy won’t be able to feed off Batman's fear he would still be amped up by the fear of other people. Plus there’s also the fact that Freddy has fought people with martial arts experience while in the dream realm. Physical attacks while in the dream state only allow Freddy to adapt to find ways around a person’s willpower to fight back. The dream realm is a place of the mind, not the flesh so a Psychic like Manhunter would find Freddy easier to fight than Batman can.
