Just bought the Sennheiser M2's to test against the Bose QC beings several said Senn's sounded better. At best its a suttle difference. Hey Mike! Solid video as always. Question- you heard of Grado? They have a dope set of new truly wireless ear buds called the GT220. I never thought I'd say this but I think those rival the Sennheiser's as far as sound WITHOUT a companion app! It is crazy haha. 259usd with all the right specs. Anyway just thought I'd throw that out there. Keep the vids coming!
Since I first commented on this, I was given a pair of Bose Earbuds c. 8 months ago and have to say, the ANC is without equal. The software to manage them is slowly improving but still lacks specific EQ control. I suspect this will come in time as Bose work out what they want to do. They don’t strike me as an organisation that moves fast unless they feel they’ve ‘got it right’ or unless they feel they’re losing market share (which they were). I’d also like to see the ability to switch seamlessly between iPhone and iPad without ‘disconnecting’ from one to reconnect to the other. Maybe they’ve been distracted by the rollout of the new QC45s (I’m still happy with my QC25s!).
I drive a truck for a living so to say that there's excessive road noise in the background while you're using the phone is an understatement. How does the Bose earbuds do with excessive road noise in the background while using the phone when you're driving? Can people still hear you clearly? What's the range? Is it more than 50 ft?
The Sony XM4 earbuds do NOT have multipoint connections. But perhaps what you are referring to is the ability to automatically switch to a phone call when you are listening to your laptop. Great review, I own the Bose QC earbuds. You are right, the lack of multipoint connection is irritating.
Great video, Mike. Gotta say I am so torn between the bose and the sennheiser. The bose seem to be amazing, but the software issues are s worry. And that case, good grief!! Its a tough call.
Couldnt temp you into doing a Jabra 85t review I suppose, Samson vs Goliath of earbuds, really not sure about them, the convenience is attractive but haven’t seen anyone punching the air over the ANC or music sound yet despite the 12.5 mm drivers?
Why do people keep saying you can use the buds independently? If you put the right Bud back in the case and shut the door the left one turns off. There is no documentation online that shows that it's able to be used one bud at a time.
I have the sonys, never fell off my ears without reason. Are you sure you tried every plug they come with. I ordered the bose because I wanted to try them too before deciding on a pair.

Do you think Senneheiser will be releasing a better version of the Momentum’s before May? My guess is August time or later. Thanks for this advice as I need to swap my M1’s now.
I'm hoping that Sennheiser releases a better quality bud soon. They have superb sound, but a lot of people, including myself, have experienced one of the buds dying after a short period of time. Almost like there's a loose connection inside one of the earbuds.
Great review. Very informative. I have the Sony WF-1000XM3 and the WH-1000XM3. The problem for the WF is that my ears have discomfort after using the WF longer than 30-45 mins as they sit deep in the ear canal. I'd like to get the Bose but dang...they're a little bigger than the WF.
I have the sony and just to airpod pro. The way the airpods feel like you aren't wearing headphones is amazing. No pressure feeling or pain and they don't fall out every 2 minutes like the sony wf.
With the xm3 you really need to check all the earbuds tips comes with the box to get the best fit. After a week of use the small foam tip is the best for me

Hi Mike, your reviews are the best. And my Sony SP800Ns just went back, audio not so good, I'm still looking. Can you review the Technics AZ70? They have full functionality and great sound going by reviews - I'd be VERY interested to see how these stack up on your list...
Great vid, cheers
Bose still has not fixed the Soundsport to use more than device. Where their QC30 connects to 2 devices simultaneously. I doubt they will fix these.
They did that am using soundsport with two devices
@@prabhat240897 simultaneously? I need to connect my Mac and mobile at the same time.
Is it more than 50 ft?
i like the sling/bag?.....what is the brand?
Please compare bose qc vs new beat studio bud.
Are you able to listen to phone calls through both sides of the Bose Quietcomfort just like the Airpods?
hey man you nailed the review
Great review as always.
thanks Paul! :)
What do you think about Harman Kardon Earbuds
The Sony XM4 earbuds do NOT have multipoint connections. But perhaps what you are referring to is the ability to automatically switch to a phone call when you are listening to your laptop. Great review, I own the Bose QC earbuds. You are right, the lack of multipoint connection is irritating.
Watched your video as I was thinking in buying the Bose and in the end will buy the Galaxy live ones
Great video, Mike. Gotta say I am so torn between the bose and the sennheiser. The bose seem to be amazing, but the software issues are s worry. And that case, good grief!! Its a tough call.
Which one did u end up getting and why
Couldnt temp you into doing a Jabra 85t review I suppose, Samson vs Goliath of earbuds, really not sure about them, the convenience is attractive but haven’t seen anyone punching the air over the ANC or music sound yet despite the 12.5 mm drivers?
You did a great job. Thanks.
Awesome review.
I ordered the bose because I wanted to try them too before deciding on a pair.
thanks for the info, I just purchase the "Quietcomfort. My issue is I've downloaded the app however I can't get it to recognize my earbuds on my iphone 6S.
Your earbuds are worth more than your phone
Just purchased a iPhone 12 PRO
All is well💪🏿
@@alihaider552 current piece is THE 12 PRO.All is well.
Another rock solid review on the latest tech.
Loved the shake test!! Lol 😆
Cool magnetic feature and liked the ear attachment, but a bit pricey.💸
Hope all is well with you and your family.
Take care, be safe and stay healthy bro!👍
hey Brian! Always happy to see your comments, glad you liked this one too! :) All is well on my side, best wishes to you too man!
Good info. Thanks!
@@hyssean12 airpod pro are trash tho
With the xm3 you really need to check all the earbuds tips comes with the box to get the best fit. After a week of use the small foam tip is the best for me
Buds pro, sony or bose?
