@mikeWat - question, I'm in the process of setting up my media room that has no natural light or windows - would this TV work well in this type of room, or would you recommend an LG? The two Samsungs I have don't seem to perform well in dark rooms.
@@The_Anglican_Autodidact If there's natural no light sources then you wouldn't have any trouble with glare or brightness. In that case I think OLED / LED / Mini LED would be fine. It'd depend more on your preference of picture crispness & black level preference and your budget!
I've had my 65" x90l for about a week and I have been impressed. My living room is much smaller than yours so it's a nice size for me. Yeah there is some blooming but not enough to bother me. The colors are great and I enjoy the depth the picture gives you.
If you sacrifice some shadow detail, let's say minus 1-2 points, the blooming will probably decrease a lot. Saw a guy on reddit do that when calibrating his x90l. I tried it it on my Samsung qn85b, and it worked great. The blooming was never severe to begin with, though.
-clicked the video due to dandandan 👌🏼 -Love the stand! -Personally I think I would go TCL QM8 , better contrast & blacks, color volume & 144hz with super low input lag. One of THE best reviews I've seen of a TV. Really appreciate it man! 👍 Most folks just either get too techie or don't talk a lot about features from the pov of an everyday viewer. I also loved how you are able to use your keyboard and mouse to play games, most just accommodate ps type consoles. I'm old school and prefer a keyboard and mouse. Overall definitely subscribing to your channel. 🤙 I'm Def gonna keep this TV on my bucket list.
Another amazing tech review!👍 What a massive screen and the surround sound was the icing on the cake. Looks like you guys had fun setting it up and I'm sure they enjoyed the free food afterwards! Hope all is well with you and your family. Take care. 🙌🔥
Great setup! I'm certainly not knocking this one, I'd be lucky to have such a setup, however the aesthetics of the projector and homemade console were superior in my honest opinion.
Great video, though slight correction - Big Daddy and many other movies pre-digital were filmed in 35mm, which actually is equivalent resolution spanning from 6k-10k. It wasn’t filmed in 1080p like mentioned, so the original quality still plays a big part in the compression quality. Glad to know it looks great on this tv.
i just bought a Samsung qn90d 75 inch and i have JBL bar 5.1 with wireless battery surround speakers, so my setup will look close to this. But on a smaller room and scale. im so happy and cant wait.
What is the comfortable minimum distance from a 65- and 77-inch TV so that your eyes don't get tired too quickly and your head doesn't hurt? And does comfort increase for OLED TVs since they have less radiation?
I got 6 of these and attached them all together, had to knock down a wall and open up the roof to the second floor of the house to make it fit. Looks pretty good but im thinking i wanna go bigger, just want to get the full experience, know what i mean.
Interesting. You can use a keyboard and mouse to play PS5 games?? I don’t like the fiddley game controllers for console games as I gamed on computer when I was younger.
@solomongathings7724 it has a very good picture quality compared to other tvs i have had. Its superior to the 86 inch lg ur8000 I had and its even better than the vizio p series quantum I had. But it's not noticeable from a viewing distance. It's in the very tip corner of the tv. Might call hisense see what they can do. If it might be a easy fix. Not sure such a minor flaw is worth the Hassel of a exchange.
