@averyanovjr Dad?! Why you gotta be so assertive all the time? And make feel like I'm doing everything wrong? 🥺🤣❤️ I've got my eye on the C4, but I've got the S95C and an Alien 4k 240Hz QD OLED, so I think I'm good for now. PS. Your native Language is beautiful no matter the politics ❤️
Love your energy and excitement, it’s fun to watch. 😊And yeah game mode on LGs OLEDs is crap, had 42” C3 and returned it because of poor gamemode. If i knew this trick which probably works on C3 aswell then I might have kept it!
Yes I just tried it & it works on my 42 inch LG C3!!! The only setting the LG C3 doesn't have is turning everything up inside of Dynamic Tone Mapping but everything else works just as he shown in this video so Thank You My Brother 👍🏿
Yeah you can’t use game optimizer black and white stabilizers outside game mode, doesn’t work. Plus lg c3 is only 800 nits, C4 can at least do 1000 nits.
You explain things very easily, smooth, clearly and very specific if you knew everything in the world it would be easy to teach all people to understand how things works
@rahullund6152 if you leave your tv on a full day with hdr game open, where it shows your “100 HP” in a corner and it’s bright as f - this might cause burn in, but this scenario is unbelievable
Serious question, do you have any problem with the 65 inch size of that C4 when sitting that close. Is the display of text bad, because I know the pixel matrix on oled TV is very bad for displaying text up close.
Text is bad, but size/distance is not a problem. In Windows I use multi-window mode (4 in every corner), for full screen content make some distance or edit fov in game for example
Hey, quick question, does this disable the abl/absl that makes continues shift in brightness happen depending on the content? Thanks a bunch for your detailed tutorial 💪🏻💪🏻
Sorry, but you have the professional settings completely backwards. The higher you go up, the more the TV will clip. The lower the number, the more the TV will actually dynamically tone map the image so that you do not lose details. The higher the number, the brighter the highlights but at the cost of clipping out almost all details in highlights. Unless you actually know what you're doing under professional mode, leave the settings at default.
@@averyanovjr You basically tried giving a 101 crash course on Dolby Vision, Dynamic Metadata and Dynamic Tone mapping for the layperson who knows nothing about what they are and their intended purpose. For the most part you did an OK job, but you completely missed the point when you advised setting professional to 100 on all settings. The TV already does 1000 nits, so raising it above the default would have no effect at all. The 4,000 and 10,000 settings should be left alone unless you are an actual professional and using this as a studio mastering panel. OR if you are wanting to watch movies that were mastered at 4K or 10K, to see even more highlights without losing details, you would actually lower the figure, not raise it. The average picture brightness would be lower, but the specular highlights would be able to get brighter overall. What you are doing when you raise them above the defaults screwing up the EOTF tracking...which is something you *almost* understood, but just missed the mark. All you're doing it allowing the TV to get brighter at the cost of clipping. You will make the average picture level "brighter", but the actual contrast will be worse and you will lose details. You also can't simply copy/paste someone else's settings and expect them to be accurate, because they won't be unless you got lucky and both of your panels ended up near identical out of the box, without calibration (almost no one will encounter this). Also, a lot of people don't seem to know this (and it's completely understandable why), but RTINGS is actually pronounced "ratings".
Maybe just watch the video.. he’s literally explaining everything he’s doing step by step. I can’t read Russian either but that didn’t stop me from using my ears to hear him very clearly talking in the English language lol

hdr standarization is shit tobe honest. 10k lumens is for archive is great but, really not sure if its gonna take any advantage, anyway is gonna be toned map lower for 1000 or 2000 nits displays. i hope they come with 12 bit displays soon (well my poco f5 has a 12 bit display but colors and modes are shit) and at least 4000 nits oled or microled tvs (and i hope they put 4000 on the whole fucking panel not only 10% windows) and phones cuz this hole mess is shit. and i want to kiss you too with a ton of open mouth noisy kisses.

Is this Plasma's twin brother CRT?
We really need to have every phone, every platform, to stream and record in 16 bit, and let every display handle the tone map.
Мне пришлось включить субтитры с переводом, чтобы понять что говорит русский парень на английском. Спасибо за подробную и полезную информацию!

So i can use this tv as a desktop gaming monitor and play games at 4k extreme quality and ultra settings enabled and still wont have a burn in ?
