PEOPLE can some one tell me if its fine or should i cancle the order - i ordered qc 2 for 190 $ thinking it had a discount on qc ultra, or is it fine and i wont have any problem with it ? pls someone help me ASAP
Out of all of these yhe jabra elite 10 are the best , and I've had all of them , cristal clear crisp sound , great bass long battery ( 10:40 hours with ANC on ) on my own test , extremely comfortable! And very secure in may ear even at the gym (once i got comply tips)
Thanks for your review! Question: With Bose, can I use ANC while wearing only one bud? When I sleep, I only put the earbud in the ear that's not on the pillow, and I need ANC.
So, I intend to purchase a Bose 2 or Ultra. Which will work best for me is a mystery to me. I am searching for anything that will provide flawlessly, including beats, bases, and ANC. Additionally, I noticed that while version 2 lacks immersive mode, version ultra does. Although 2 is slightly more expensive than ultra, as of right now, ultra has just been released. I'm not quite sure how the high price is a good value.
The Bose is horrible for phone calls. 60% of the sound call volume that should be heard. I had to strain to hear the other person. They couldnt hear me over the vehicle A/C blowing. I couldnt return them quick enough. This is coming from a huge Bose fan. I love love love love the sound of music otherwise. I am very Happy with the Sony XM5's after replacing the tips with aftermarket tips. The tips that come with the Sony's are uncomfortable after and hour. The Aftermarket tips available make for better comfort, better ANC, and even the music sounds better due to the fit.
How’s mic on sony because i use my buds mostly for phone calls at work and heavy machines sound now i’m using airpods pro 2 but mic isn’t good enough it keep cutting my voice when background noise is there
@@parmindermaan1700 I have been using the sony XM5 earbuds for a solid 2 months now and the mic is the best. People can hear me whispering. It cuts out the lobby music at the hotel I work at unless I change to immersive mode then it allows all outside sound in.
Great comparison man. I'm not sure if you got the firmware update on sony xm5 that made the buds support spatial audio with head tracking. Please check that feature out and compare it with others.
What is the difference between spatial audio and 3D surround sound, which I assume is the same? It would be interesting to make a comparison video about spatial audio and the difference between them on different audio devices. Which audio device actually makes spatial audio/surround sound significantly better and makes the overall sound quality better when using it for music and movies, among others.
Found the immersive sound on the Ultras to be amazing for normal music tracks. For the others if they offer something similar it requires Atmos encoding or Sony's tiny library of music with a subscription fee. So if you listen to a lot of 'normal' music, highly recommend the Ultras. If you watch lots of movies with Atmos you might prefer something like the AirPods.
For phone calls it appears the Ultras are not the best, for private listening (not on a call) in a loud environment, I find them far superior to the rest.
I can't find the affiliate links!? I found the Soundcore NC4 mic pickup unusable in a noisy cafe but it was ok with your extreme/windy test. Soundcore communicated with me and did a firmware update that...marginally improved it, but not enough. But then even the much much much better mic pickup on the Earfun Air pro 3 wasn't a match for my noisy cafe. It might be worth finding a noisy cafe for the real thing. I would love to see how the ibuds perform in real world noisy cafe in comparison as they seem to have the best mic pickup, perhaps excepting those Sony's (S?). My budget hasn't stretched to ibuds and I use mixed devices so I prefer the android app-compatible buds. One major qualification is that I have a low voice, not very low, but as low as those Indian reviewers who also noticed issues with the one that had a low voice like mine with the NC4s. Perhaps it's low voices that have issues. Us low voice people are likely 1/40th of the population and are being left out. Sniff :'(
It's really dumb, but I've had the same issue with the QC2 and Ultra. It doesn't seem to be paired, and trying to pair it again is a nightmare. However, I've found this is resolved by putting them in the case, plugging a cable up to the case, and returning 5 minutes later. Always connects right away. I can't believe I spent $50 on their wireless charging case. I only did it because my first pair, the port came loose and fell into the case.
Honestly the Jabra's are a 8.5 out of 10 with noise cancellation. Bose is 9.5. Honestly I can't really tell the difference unless I really focus. But I think the Jabra's sound better overall. @@hawleyfromhell
@@hawleyfromhellthere's a difference between noise cancellation that shields you from outside noises and noise cancellation that Shields the person you're on the phone with from noise. You're definitely right that the Bose are unmatched in shielding the person wearing them from outside noises. When it comes to phone calls, it's not as able to give your voice clean to the other color without additional noise. That's why these samples are as they are.
In ref to the QC Ultras: I think the immersive audio is a gimmick for me and I don’t enjoy the sound signature at all. I have to go to EQ right away and boost bass to even attempt to restore the sound signature. I like that it pushes the sound in front of me but it’s not my favourite way to listen to my music. I think the main thing is the aptX Adaptive and Lossless and there is so little focus and testing around this. It drives me mad. The QC Ultras shouldn’t be compared to others in terms of music playback without using aptX Lossless. So, reviewers should choose a source track which is 16-bit/44.1kHz lossless and use a mobile capable of aptX Lossless. Which includes some of the latest Sony Xperias. Yes, those guys that made LDAC actually support aptX Lossless on their smartphones. aptX Lossless dongles should hopefully surface more over the coming year for other devices that lack the relevant Qualcomm SoC. Velacy has one they’re claiming to ship in March. I’m disappointed that Bose didn’t release one at the same time as launching the QC Ultras. With the launch of the iPhone 15 with USB-C, now would have been the time. Although next year’s Qualcomm XPAN may mean we have to buy everything all over again to finally achieve Hi-Res lossless wireless freedom. I have the wireless charging case cover for the Bose. So, I cancel out any proverbial noise about the lack of wireless charging in the standard unit. Don’t get me started on the reviewers hitting these things because of no multipoint support. Like many people, they don’t understand that multipoint means using the same codec across all devices. This often means a drop down to SBC. These earbuds are about music playback quality experiences. Not the convenience offered by cheaper multipoint-compatible earbuds. Multipoint is not something you want if you are into audio quality.
Which earbuds woud you buy when using it mostly for calling in crowdy places (like hotels, airports) and windy places (like a crowded beach)? Thanks for your opinion.
I'm asking because I trust you completely and because I know you really understand headphones. The most important thing for me is music. Which of these do you think, Jbl live 2 pro, Jabra elite 10 and Sennheiser Sport TW? I would be very happy if you answer. Thank you very much 😊🤗
just bought elite 10, found a bug if single use this earbuds, make a call auto turn on hearthrough, its a bit annoying, anyone how to fix this ? i hate hearthrough!
Got the Ultra's and highly recommend them. Have the QC IIs, the AirPods Pro, and XM4s and XM5s and the Ultras are my favorite by far. For noise cancelling the both the Bose are top notch. For audio quality I rate the AirPods the worst and the Sony's as slightly better than the Ultras, BUT. When I turn on immersive mode on the Ultras they blow away the Sony's in my opinion. Sony also offers an immersive equivalent, but it requires a subscription and the music supporting their approach is tiny. Regarding wireless charging I got the wireless outercase and it works as expected. Regarding multipoint don't think the AirPods works unless all Apple devices and for Sony their multipoint only supports two devices and I have three so not missing much with the Bose. I think ear shape/size can be a factor. The Bose fit perfectly with the best noise cancelling and audio by far, for my ears. Also the Bose take no time to insert in ears but not so for the Sony's.

@@shawonahmed1219 for noise cancelling for me it isn't even remotely close, the Ultras are much better at noise cancelling. That said I don't make many calls in a noisy environment, if I did, I think the Sony's are somewhat better in terms of what the person on the other end hears.

I'm coming from the Bose QC2, hust got the XM5 today. The earbuds are way uncomfortable than the Bose, by a LOT! it's incredible, I wasn't expecting that. The sound quality isn't as expected, I prefer the Bose sound, an all around more immersive and the frequency seems more calibrated (I tried to tune the XM5 but nothin comparable) I was expection more bass, since I lika bass music, but no, the XM5 doesn't give you a lot more base, they do, but the sound distortion isn't accettable. I'm returning them tomorrow! Hope this helps a currrent Nose owner to avoid buying the XM5. Keeep the QC2 or go for the QC Ultra if you don't have any! More expensive but the ANC, fit and overall sound calibration is way better.
Just bought XM5 and my experience is completely different from yours, I find it comfortable and loud, and has a great set of microphones. I am coming from XM4 and Samsung galaxy buds
@@DamianBrown I ended up auditioning both, I find the original earbuds more comfortable to wear due to their on-ear design. The ANC is just as good especially on airplane. So save your $$ and get the original.
I really need your advice aaron, im using wf1000xm5 with iphone or should i change to android? Is the difference is too far between AAC with dsee extreme compare to LDAC on android? Thank you
I'm using Samsung S23 ultra. Still figuring out which buds is "Good" overall. My Samsung buds 2 pro sounds so weird. It lost the bass at all when ANC or Ambient sounds are off. Anyone having same issue?
I had to return the XM5 buds because they were really uncomfortable for me and for some reason the ANC didn’t work as effectively as it should. I got the Bose Ultras as a replacement although it was much more expensive in my country. So far I’m impressed at how well they fit me. It’s extremely comfortable and the audio quality is amazing especially on immersive mode. Noise cancelling is probably the best I’ve experienced so far but it does have some white noise. I think the only issue I have with them is that from time to time the sound tends to fluctuate for like a second and then goes back to normal. I’ve disconnected it from Bluetooth and paired them to my iPhone again but it hasn’t improved much. Still get that stutter now and then.
Stop telling people what's awful when you don't even have both to compare directly. You're making decisions based from memory, it's completely unreliable @@flecktarnjames522
Have used all of these and have to say if you have an iPhone, there is nothing better than AirPods. Period. Even if not using iPhone, AirPods are best for daily use since they have the least bugs and balanced audio quality for most genres. Now, for pure music quality, Bose were the best but their connectivity bugs gave me a headache! (Bose - please resolve this for once, this has been going on since your previous releases). The rest Jabra, Sony & Samsung are just okay for me personally, below AirPods or Bose purely because of their wear comfort and overall nothing outstanding in terms of music output. Cheers!
@@singhsanjeetI've got the nc700, my most used headphones ever and still going strong. They replaced my Sony headphones which were very muddy and overly bassy in comparison. Ease of use, excellent ANC and audio quality and longevity are why I've continued with the Bose nc700. It doesn't need to replaced, reliability is excellent (though there are now some better devices). The Sony wfxm5 are excellent. I hope Sony though doesn't loose its way z and in particular for mobile phones as they are one of the few to support decent audio quality on their phones.

As the owner of Bose QC Buds II, I can say I would never buy another. They basically sit on my desk not being used now for about 2 months. Their noise cancelling is spectacular, it's the rest of the experience that is terrible. Let's start with the app, to describe it in one word, abysmal. Low functionality and functions that just don't work. As an example, it has a function to stop the headphone touch function from working. Doesn't do anything. This would be a huge problem, only the buds don't fit well (no matter which tips are used). This means that when you are even just walking, the buds start to come out of the ear, when you go to push them back in, the touch works and you skip a song or pause the song etc. These are useless at the gym. My Samsung Buds 2 Pro run rings around these.
I hate to say it but the Apple buds are the best sounding all around. I didn’t want to hear that but it’s true. I was using this video to justify my purchase of the Bose but now I’m not getting them.
i have airpods pro 2nd gen and bought bose qc ultra just to compare . although the graphs shows airpods are more balanced that doesnt make them more enjoyable to listen to .
So I'm going to take the opportunity to comment on the wind noise test that you do. It's not realistic at all no one is going to be in that situation and basically all of the earbuds fail. I don't see the point of that? I do appreciate the rest of your reviews and I watch every episode. Thank you. 💯👍🇺🇸
Thank you for your feedbak Mike. One happy benefit of the controlled tests is, I have a backlog of results stretching back years that people can cross reference today, because the tests are conducted in the same exact way. And from the tests we can see that over the years, mic pickup quality has got better for some brands, and worse in some. I should definitely find a way to incorporate more real world tests.
I've used the QC2 and MX5 a lot over the last couple of months. The MX5 are better in everything other than controls and fit like you say. And I thought maybe ANC like every content creator seems to believe. But raw data says the MX5s are actually better with highs and lows than basically every other bud out there, both Bose buds too. Aregina is the channel, worth checking out, but as he says it may be the Bose being more consistent with why people believe it better. My personal take is the MX5 are better in a cafe or a gym with loud music, but the QC2 are better walking near a busy street, I think the key is in the changes. As for sound the QC2 is not bad and very enjoyable, but the MX5 is just another class.
All other earbuds sound very open except bose ultra 🤦 wind performance far behind qc2 🤦 box sizes are same... Do they think they can fool customers? And for ANC, I can guess it is a little better than qc2, even though you hide the results Aaron :/ As a result, I was very dissapointed with ultra and not gonna upgrade my qc2...
The voice call from the Bose ultra and the Bose 2 are different he's wrong saying it's the same. Why is he lying. The jabr was this best in that situation.

so i ordered qc 2 thinkng they were qc ultra cause i did not read the name and just read the price which is similar and then i saw a massive discount so i ordered quickly but later that day i rechecked the order and i saw that i had ordered qc 2 instead of ultra so i quickly came on youtube to see the difference so from this video it seems that there is no big difference. PEOPLE can some one tell me if its fine or should i cancle the order - i ordered qc 2 for 190 $ thinking it had a discount on qc ultra, or is it fine and i wont have any problem with it ? pls someone help me ASAP
Very useful ANC comparison! I think Bose QC II is a better choice for me today (found it offered for GBP149 in the UK)!
Out of all of these yhe jabra elite 10 are the best , and I've had all of them , cristal clear crisp sound , great bass long battery ( 10:40 hours with ANC on ) on my own test , extremely comfortable! And very secure in may ear even at the gym (once i got comply tips)
is there any comply tips for elite 10 triangle nozzle?
Thanks for your review! Question: With Bose, can I use ANC while wearing only one bud? When I sleep, I only put the earbud in the ear that's not on the pillow, and I need ANC.
Được bạn… 1 tai vẫn có ANC
This isnt true, it switches ANC off with 1 ear bud in @PhucZenda
Yes. If you have it in one ear, it will magically cause your other ear to have ANC.
Which tips did you get

How’s mic on sony because i use my buds mostly for phone calls at work and heavy machines sound now i’m using airpods pro 2 but mic isn’t good enough it keep cutting my voice when background noise is there
@@parmindermaan1700 I have been using the sony XM5 earbuds for a solid 2 months now and the mic is the best. People can hear me whispering. It cuts out the lobby music at the hotel I work at unless I change to immersive mode then it allows all outside sound in.
I’m wearing the AirPods Pro 2 usbc and I feel the jabra sound the best
Great comparison man. I'm not sure if you got the firmware update on sony xm5 that made the buds support spatial audio with head tracking. Please check that feature out and compare it with others.
Jabra is elite for a reason.
Using 7 active along with 10 gen 2 and both are phenomenal
Hear hear!
3D sound on the Soundcore Liberty NC 4 is just an echo or reverb added to the audio in my opinion. I don't hear any 3D about it.
@@brwa5176 is the immersive audio on the qcu good for movies?
@@DeneF now you mentioned it sounds like an echo, reverb
@@DeneF I still think the sound quality is amazing
In my mind the first reason you buy Bose buds it's for the ANC but alas, they were not the best in this test.
For phone calls it appears the Ultras are not the best, for private listening (not on a call) in a loud environment, I find them far superior to the rest.
They're the best apart from this test
Both the Jabra and AirPods seemed better with the active noise cancelling than the bose from your samples.
Yeah, but they aren't. We all know that Bose is the best when it comes to ANC. Everything else though.. is up to personal preference.
Does anyone know why he doesnt use the airpods on an iphone? Or does and im just stupid?
Obrigado!
De nada! Obrigado!!
I heard with the problem with the Bose disconnecting you have to rename it re pair it to your device
Also the Bose take no time to insert in ears but not so for the Sony's.
can you help me which one should I buy, I travel everyday 3 to 4 hours to my work where there is a lot of sound from micro and bus horn, I just only need the best active noise cancellation during my commute. I already own a galaxy buds 2 pro and a realme buds 5 Pro, so now I am confused which shall I buy, bose quite comfort ultra or Sony xm5.
@@shawonahmed1219 for noise cancelling for me it isn't even remotely close, the Ultras are much better at noise cancelling. That said I don't make many calls in a noisy environment, if I did, I think the Sony's are somewhat better in terms of what the person on the other end hears.
Do you recommend the Bose QC 2, or QC ultra for anc?
@@corey7219 definitely the QC Ultra, ANC seems slightly better but connections are also improved and I like Immersive mode for music.

I'm coming from the Bose QC2, hust got the XM5 today.
The earbuds are way uncomfortable than the Bose, by a LOT! it's incredible, I wasn't expecting that.
The sound quality isn't as expected, I prefer the Bose sound, an all around more immersive and the frequency seems more calibrated (I tried to tune the XM5 but nothin comparable)
I was expection more bass, since I lika bass music, but no, the XM5 doesn't give you a lot more base, they do, but the sound distortion isn't accettable.

I'm using Samsung S23 ultra. Still figuring out which buds is "Good" overall. My Samsung buds 2 pro sounds so weird. It lost the bass at all when ANC or Ambient sounds are off. Anyone having same issue?

Qc2 is 200 compared to 300 for ultra. So the decision especially if nc is 1st priority. Right?
If ANC's more important to you then yes
Will u have a look at the Earfun Free Pro 3 ?
Dear friends, Which of these headphones are the loudest?
Are you planning to do the Denon perl pros? 🙏
Very informative video, and I like your voice tone. Thanks.

I have had the QC2 for more than a year now, just got the XM5 today and they are awful!

Cheers!
Are these loud??
Bose sound nowhere near to sony and jabra..what a messs that company heading too...
true.. and the suddenly drop of bluetooth really annoying..
Absolutely. And not just on earphones, I feel the headphones (nc700) was such a big let down for me. Sony’s cheaper models are way better than bose.
How can Sony compare to Bose ? U just don’t know anything
Sony is way overrated. I had Sonys top 2,000 usd headphones and Sonys top 1, 400 usd I'm and not great. Good , but not great.

I think the AirPods Pro had the best mic quality when it was quiet. Wow.
Sounds very natural
If you don’t use them no more give them to me I’ll use them 😅
I hate to say it but the Apple buds are the best sounding all around.
Phone call in a noisy place with the Sony’s you sound like Darth Vader😂
So I'm going to take the opportunity to comment on the wind noise test that you do. It's not realistic at all no one is going to be in that situation and basically all of the earbuds fail. I don't see the point of that? I do appreciate the rest of your reviews and I watch every episode. Thank you. 💯👍🇺🇸
I think that’s the point of the test…to see what the wind noise reduction limit is and to see which is best
As for sound the QC2 is not bad and very enjoyable, but the MX5 is just another class.
this helped me a lot. Thanks
very well done, nice video with a lot of evidence. Congrats
Bose have better bass
All other earbuds sound very open except bose ultra 🤦 wind performance far behind qc2 🤦 box sizes are same... Do they think they can fool customers? And for ANC, I can guess it is a little better than qc2, even though you hide the results Aaron :/
As a result, I was very dissapointed with ultra and not gonna upgrade my qc2...
For me biggest difference between QC II and Ultras is the immersive mode for music. Love it.
