  • Few older pics of my one year build of my 73 dodge D100. From frame to cruiser. Along with a vintage bagged camper. Using accuair, slam specialties bags and a powerdyne supercharger on a 99 5.9 magnum with 46re trans.

    Incredible. I’ve had this idea brewing for years. Bagged campers and mini homes that is. Not dragging them but this is awesome

    I owned one of these in the late 80's, when I was in college at NAU in Flagstaff. '73 Dodge D100, 318, long bed. It was even the same color, but it had a lot of superficial rust [patina]. God, but I miss that truck. In many ways, it was the best vehicle I ever owned.

      Modified the stock upper and lower arms. With slam specialties re7’s up front and built a wishbone style 3 link in the rear with slam re8’s. I’m using accuair e•level for management. Frame was Z’d 2” also.

    • @moparmuscle123
      @moparmuscle123  3 года назад +1

      Same truck, the yellow cab was pretty rusty, and rather than painting the truck I found a donor truck and cut the box sides down and welded them to the short bed.

    • @andrewburt7900
      @andrewburt7900 3 года назад

      @@moparmuscle123 I guess I’m confused. All your pictures of tunnel mods etc.. are of the blu cab truck? So that can’t possibly be the yellow ones cab. I like the build I like the video too. Just curious what happened to the yellow truck and frame motor etc...0

    • @moparmuscle123
      @moparmuscle123  3 года назад +1

      @@andrewburt7900 the yellow cab was too rusty to bother repairing. So it went to scrap. This truck is a mixture of 3 trucks. Frame is not original to either of the trucks. I had the frame sitting for years, then I bought the yellow truck for the mint grill and tailgate. I used it for one summer slapped together then the following winter I scrapped the yellow cab and used the blue trucks body parts and cab to have a truck that was one colour without having to paint it.

    • @andrewburt7900
      @andrewburt7900 3 года назад

      @@moparmuscle123 got ya. I’m sorry it went to scrap. They sell whole floors rocker panels and cab corners etc.. on eBay pretty cheap. I don’t know where you’re located but if I was within a few hours of you I would have happily paid more than scrap for it. Hate to see these old trucks going away

    • @moparmuscle123
      @moparmuscle123  3 года назад

      @@andrewburt7900 the truck sat in a slough, I don’t send things to the scrapyard unless they are way too far gone. I kept everything that was good. Only the cab itself was scrapped.
