  • In today's episode of Lambvinskis Garage, we went and bought a 1965 Dodge D100 off of Facebook Marketplace! Now we have to drive it 370 miles home! Do you think it'll do it? Of course it will, but strap in and watch anyways as I go on this cold ride home and we give it a tune up once we get home! It's hard to beat these old trucks with a good running 318 and 4 speed manual transmission! Enjoy!

    The music is perfect for the scenery/trip. I lived in LaGrande in 1979-80.

    Solid looking truck. Nice to see some familiar countryside from the seat of a Sweptline!! Spent quite a bit of time in The Dalles as a kid, my great grandparents lived there. I came from a little west, and the other side of The Gorge in Camas. Great channel guys, keep up the great content... I gotta get back to work here on RUclips!! Thanks for the motivation boys!!

      We have a few of them but this is the first two tone like this we've picked up! I've gotten them with white or black roofs, but not like this.

      Brake hoses appeared to be in good shape and we had no air in the system, we'll change the master cylinder and it'll be just mint.

    That side trim seems odd. Almost looks like they forgot a piece on each side

    • @LambvinskisGarage
      @LambvinskisGarage  Год назад

      I agree! That's how they came though, the later models had the full trim that followed the whole line

  • @briananderson3801
    @briananderson3801 10 месяцев назад

    Return lines are plugged up in the heads take them off and run a old steel coat hanger down through the 4 corners of the heads the oil is probably staying on top of the head

    Just curious to know is cylinder 4 your the cause of the oil consumption?

    • @LambvinskisGarage
      @LambvinskisGarage  Год назад

      It is certainly part of it, but it's not all of it. I ran the truck very hard and I think that was a lot of it.

    Curious, did you ever guestimate fuel mileage?

    • @LambvinskisGarage
      @LambvinskisGarage  Год назад

      I wanted to but with how it panned out I wasn't able to, but I would guess 12 or so? Give or take.

    oil pressure sending unit leaking?

    • @LambvinskisGarage
      @LambvinskisGarage  8 месяцев назад

      No, I believe I was just running it too hard doing 60-65. I've only had to top it off once since this trip almost a year ago.
