Great dodge pickup!!! I really liked all the custom metal pieces that were made. It’s a shame the aftermarket ignores these trucks , for the most part.
You guys are so lucky to do this project together. My dad and I restored his '66 D100 in 1978. Turned a lot of heads as he drove through town. He's gone now and I have his truck. The next resto is on me, and I will surely miss his guidance. Great series. Nice outcome. Keep on wrenching and fabbing.
Defiantly do not take the time for granted, has been super fun and looking forward to many builds to come ! Apprentice the support, and would love to see your 66! We have a Facebook page (Real Steel Fabrications) feel free to share if you would like.
@@RealSteelFabrications I think this video has a great chance of blowing up. For the start to finish builds, I usually just do time lapse but I like the way you did yours. It has a great flow to it. Any idea what vehicle will be your next project?
@@AustinCoulson ya I’m starting to film more time lapse and incorporate them in the videos, I got a little better at filming as the build went on, still learning. The next build will be a 1969 Dodge D200 crew cab camper special. I will also be using the money I’ve made so far off of RUclips, and buy a 1992 fox body Mustang convertible I plan on getting going for $1000 or less and making a build series on it as well.
Great job guys! Being a MOPAR MAN, I love these old trucks as back then everything was purely simple designs, unlike today's expensive plastic and electronics. Love the paint color too.
Man….. I have a ‘70 D100 lounge bed. I’ve had it 30 years and have done nothing but dream about you all have done to this one. Hopefully I’ll find the inspiration to do just that.
Liked and sub'd before it even got started. As soon as you said it started as a long bed. A couple weeks ago I bought a 72 D200 long bed with 73K original miles and nearly zero dents or rust. It's been sitting under a tree for 17 years, but buffed up pretty nicely. Can't wait to get the old 360 pumped up and shredding tires:)
Super Sweet Color. Subbed 😎 I've got a LS swapped 82c10 Squarebody myself. Be painting it soon. It's got alot of paint flake but it's a 98percent rust free Texas truck.
Thank you! It took a little over a year, but we took an entire summer off during it so about 8 months to get it done. No telling how many hours, but well over 100+
@@RealSteelFabrications - understand, I am 3 hours away from your shop. Just let me know when I can come look at the finished product. Sure looks good on videos
I have talked to several guys here locally and they are all telling me it’s worth 15k with everything that’s been done. I have been looking and there isn’t much out there that’s comparable, but if one that have had nothing done is bringing 8-10k I’d say 15k is reasonable? If you want I can PM you my number and we can talk?
Yeah I was looking into a Chrysler product the Dodge truck it has a slant six like what dads 35 Plymouth doctors Coupe is getting... I think I'll just go for something in the early 80s to Mid maybe there's a whole lot less rust. So they don't have aftermarket panels it appears it's a lot of this you had to fabricate
I hate the lumpy paint crap, and it ain't a truck if it ain't a long bed. I would have used lowering blocks and left the springs alone on the rear, you may regret what you did. I hope you didn't scrap the parts you didn't use, you could build a second truck.

You and me both!

True passion right there! You will enjoy this for many years and always have the quality time with your dad! Good job!
For sure, many more builds to come! Thanks for the support man!
Love the color and what you guys did to save an old truck. It's so nice it deserves a 4 barrel.
Thanks! Building a crew cab now
Great work guys, unbelievable what a Bondi bucket the bed was. Luv what you've done! Love mopar trucks!
Sure was! Thanks for checking it out. Make sure to check out the crew cab we are building now!
Came out great! Love the editing on this video. Looking forward to your next project
Thanks Austin, the channel would not be where it is without you! We are excited to get started on the next one.

Good job very cool 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Great video. Very cool truck. I just bought a 70. New to all of this. Any recommendations on good places to get parts?
Exline makes new sheet metal, pretty pricey though. Cheaper stuff on eBay. There's facebook groups as well that can help you out to find parts
Looks as familiar as a red one
What red one
she sounds amazing!!!! what is the exhaust?
Custom, my uncle did it
Hot dam look’s great
Thanks!
Looks great. I have a 63 D100 stepside. Short bed. With a 361 and a 1 ton 4 speed 2 wheel drive . I dont think they made a w100.
Awesome!
I have a '63 W100 short bed step side. They made them.
We got a 71 D100 318 3spd. What gas tank did you guys go with? Where did you guys buy the floor plans at? Nice truck ..
Has a 70' mustang tank, full video of it on the channel. Pans came from eBay
Muy buen trabajo excelente
Thanks!
Are the whells 18 inchers?
20’s
Did you guys do a video on the power steering if so I believe I missed that
Had the factory assist power steering, everything worked good when we got it
Que medidas son las llantas y cubiertas?
I believe 20x11 on the rear and 20x9 on the front
Such a beautiful truck. How long have you been working on it? Do you any idea how many hours you have in it?

🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
😎😎😎
What color is the truck is there a specific name for that paint or is it just mint green
Old school lime green
@@RealSteelFabrications thanks will buy that for my truck.
👍👍
Have y'all decided on how much y'all gonna sell it for yet?
Not yet, we need to work out a couple kinks before it will be for sale.
$15000 obo
Interested - let me know when you price it. 3 hours away
Will do, as of now we are willing to take offers, but will not have a for sure price till we are happy with everything mechanically.

Had to fabricate a ton!
Why is. It when I looked up a D100 build the Whittakers came. Up 😆
Lol, probably because those videos are so popular
No tailgate?!!!
Sold before we could get it done, sold with it tho
How much is this truck
It’s sold already
mines rustfree calif truck orig paint
JELOUS
Liked the truck didn't like the music

Nice, but the wheels…
My favorite part lol
Not proper truck tires. Hate it.
Dang you idiots ruined a good truck .
