I’m installing a front receiver and will install a rod holder on it. Is the rod holder tubing diameter something to be concerned about to make sure a 1.5” rod butt will fit?

What’s your lift and tire setup? Your Tacoma sits perfect!

Thank you so much! I have the truck leveled up with Bilstein 5100 (front and back). Didn't rise the back, but the front just enough to run the 265/70R17 Falken Wildpeak AT3W tires. No rubbing issues. The wheels are Vision 398 Manx 17X8.50, with 0 offset. Hope I answered your question in details 😊

Nicely set up taco for the beach, do you fish PINS?

    • @FishermanATX

Thank you so much! Yes I do go there from time to another. But I mostly fish Matagorda. It's closer to Austin, and I get better luck 😊

@@FishermanATX Yeah, the less travel the better if possible. I live in Corpus areas so really never go up to Matagorda, everything is so close or if I travel to other water I go south to Port Mansfield, Arroyo City, or SPI area.

Great video, where did u get the cooler rod holder? Is the hitch attached to the frame? Also what is the brand of the under coating?

Thank you! I got the cooler rod holder from Breakaway shop in Corpus Christy many years ago. The brand is Fish-N-Mate. Unfortunately they don't make that size anymore, but there are some others now like www.ebay.com/i/192206628796?chn=ps&var=492130033257&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-117182-37290-0&mkcid=2&itemid=492130033257_192206628796&targetid=935431406133&device=c&mktype=pla&googleloc=9028226&campaignid=10454522093&mkgroupid=104612009740&rlsatarget=aud-622524042638:pla-935431406133&abcId=2146002&merchantid=8399354&gclid=CjwKCAjw-5v7BRAmEiwAJ3DpuDnnLOYkT1ec6mEWXWZNi3xib3gJkWcP_49Yv02ypgNxEXucOwJNCxoCw7QQAvD_BwE
For the Under Coating, I got it at Line-X linexroundrock.com/services/
And yes the front hitch receiver is attached to the frame 😊
