Love how Jason tells you what you DON'T want to do as much as he tells you what to actually DO. Makes it much more relatable for people who maybe haven't hit those perfect shots yet but don't know where they are going wrong.
J Day is one of the best players when he’s on n healthy. Power n finesse are such a deadly combo and his putter is calming to watch at work.

This video helped me so much recently. I can't thank you guys and Jason for explaining this shot. After 10+ years of golf, I am only starting to understand the concept of using the bounce now. I use this technique for flop shots as well as bunker shots. I took the lob wedge out of my bag and do everything with just a 54 degree sand wedge. It is so fun hitting really sorts of short shots where the ball just pops straight up. I'm practicing from 3/4 swing to slow half swing with different tempos. Also, judging the lie and deciding what it dictates is crucial(for flop shots). Tight lies and buried lies are very difficult. I don't dread being in bunkers anymore. I feel very confident because of the tips shared on this video. I feel like a little kid with a new toy. I didn't have to buy a new club, just employing different tactics with the same club I've been playing all these years. Thank you!!! Congrats to Jason on his recent win!

12 wins, Jason is one of my most favorite golfers all the time!
Ended up in a few bunkers yesterday, so gave this technique a try. I was out of the bunker in 1 shot every time, even if the ball was pretty much on the wall of the bunker with the lip overhanging. And they were all good shots.

I base my bunker swing now on this "lesson". Not cutting as strong as JD, but esp. the stability aspect and going deeper into the knees helped a lot. I rarely have really bad bunker shots now, sometimes the height could be stronger. But thanks a lot for this video! Helped me big times!

Took this to the PF today and focused on his principles, particularly getting low. Lucky for me there was a school practice that had just left, had 3 ft circles around each cup. Six bunker balls - FIVE inside their intended circles. Did blast the lone miss into the face, but I’d say these tips are pretty solid!

You could have easily done jday S the best from 8feet in. Or maybe it was 5. I also love how he visualizes each shot. So keys I too from this is open the face up to flat. Get low and make a big cut. Can't be worse than what I am doing now, going to give it a shot. Loving this series
