Hey guys, here's my experience with Yema's customer service - is it good or bad? Also be sure to watch until the end to see how else they messed up. Have a great day guys and thanks for the support.
Edit - BTW, they sent my a new watch roll for damaging my case.

Great review! I hear you on yema's customer service. There is a bit of room for improvement as they switch from being a micro brand to a brand. As an owner of a navygraff though, I can tell you with an absolute certainty that they build damn good watches with some of the best design and specifications going. You have to stay on them sometimes, but it is worth the pain.😀

1 month turnaround is not too bad. When you send a Breitling, Omega or Rolex, they take a while. About 4 weeks plus. Pity about the case. Haven’t had any issues with my Yema. I hope they get it together. Nice watches.

I had an issue with a watch of theirs running almost 2 hours fast a day. I opened the ticket. They were pretty responsive to me and sent the label within the 48 hours.
Now... they advise you call DHL for some reason but I took it to a pick up location and they received it and shipped it with no issues... I found out the return was out because of DHL as well and the date wheel came slightly misaligned which wasn't an issue before but at that point I just said I'd live with it...

My opinion, the only reason a mid tier/ high tier has QC issues, is not because the miss out during QC. Cos there is so much you could check sometimes. (and were not talking about brands like Seiko here where they chunk out hundreds if not thousands each day, i dont think Yema has such demand). The reason is they hope you to ignore the issue and just keep the watch, and avoid all the hassle, and I do believe many do.
Now thats not the problem. The problem is the buyers. Knowing such issue and still purchase from them, you are sending them a message saying its ok to have QC issue, its ok to have bad/hassle customer service, cos people will buy regardless such issues. Rewarding the brand when they did wrong wont help them, or you.

Tell me about it, way more hassle than it needed to be. Thanks for watching

I made the mistake of buying the heritage 63 diver. The lume has popped out one of the indices on three separate occasions. These are crap watches. Avoid at all cost

That's awful, I've never heard of that happening ever before. Did you at least get it sorted?

Can someone please explain to me why Yema, a French watch brand, gives a depth rating on the dial in English, when France invented the metric system. And, why they declare it's 'automatic', not 'automatique'? And, why they just write 'France' , not 'made in France'?
I find this all VERY concerning for a real French watch brand.

Now you mention it, that is quite odd. Maybe they're trying to not alienate potential customers? To be honest I'm not sure really. All I can be certain of, is I'm not buying from them until they sort out their customer service.

Definitely not subscribing. You never clearly said what the QC issue was to begin with. For me not great content.

Also, was interested in the Rallygraf but, not anymore. Staying away from Yema. Unacceptable.

I don't know anyone that has a Yema that doesn't experience QC issues.

Same here, they don't have the best reputation for quality control
