My oldest F-91W, bought in 1991, says 'Assembled in Korea' on the back. I'd always assumed it was a genuine one, but now I'm not so sure. It also has no 'u' under 'resist'.

Its much more modern looking than Casio! I like how they have hidden the button functions in the minute lines. Alarm is missing but though, I guess today's world you use your phone for that.

Solar doesn't actually need much light. Soo little light that 5 hours in the sun is a full charge. Even in a dimly lit room, solar will still get enough light to fully charge the battery after 50-400 hours....a full charge being 4 months of power. That means even in dim indoor light, worst case scenario, it takes 15 days to get 4 months worth of charge. So you are essentially always running at a net positive gain of power storage even in pretty dim conditions. So you don't even really need to put them in a window to charge them, they just need to be set out anywhere there is light.

I purchased my Yema Rallygraph, Blue dial. I absolutely love it. I too noticed a color difference on the dial being off white from that shown in video. I now wonder exactly what color white is used. Oxford white is my guess. What's yours?

Doesn't make any difference for me as if you aren't wearing it for a few weeks as i think many would who have a good collection then it will still stop when you next pick it up. So has no benefit for me. Probably costs more too apart from that there no difference.

So, it is the best Willard hommage for about 55€ at Ali Ex! The Seiko NH 35a is a tank of movement and will be real fast exchanged, if it is broken. A PT5000 will be perfekt for this watch! Big one for a small budget! 🙏👍🏼

I like the colorway of this watch, although it seems like it would not scratch my itch for a true full size black Willard. However I believe they have cleaned up all of the issues you have described by the stage, 2 years later. I can’t imagine that they are still putting out products with any defects, the Chinese are perfecting the watch game, and we benefit from it. If I had my choice however, I would prefer a black Willard. I see that this colorway is usually the only one that’s available these days, all the silver black ones are usually gone. This grey one should be on sale for that reason. Now we have the black Willards but the problem with that is when you get a scratch you’re going to see silver underneath that black. If they can ensure that it would all stay black I would buy a black one, maybe with the silver handset, but then again you have that gilded gold one that sort of looks like the senior officers Willard. Like after captain Willard had been promoted to general after he got back to the “Trang” after completing the mission of “decommissioning” colonel Kurtz. I would even say, decommissioning mr Kurtz with full prejudice. I’m going to watch the movie now after all this, apocalypse now so free on the tube, 7/13/24.🎉

En France, lorus est a nouveau commercialisé notamment via internet. Seiko semble abandonner Pulsar. Si on rajoute Alba en Amérique du Nord, ça fait 3 marques qui proposent des modèles proches aux mouvements identiques. Dommage que la production soit Chinoise, c'est de qualité correcte mais les boites sont en acier assez clinquant..

To make it even worse... this watch is manufactured for 30 years... it had many variation over the time. I have a genuine one, from the 90's, that doesnt have the Casio display feature, and has an incadescent micro-light insted of the green led.

The corgeut looks a little more like a tag than an omega.

I gave mine away to a friend while on holiday. I instantly looked on eBay for a replacement. I agree the strap is rubbish. I replaced it with a Fullmosa steel bracelet and changed its clasp for a no tool micro adjustable one. It has transformed the watch to another level. I am considering changing the mineral glass for an anti reflective or plain sapphire crystal version. The upgrades cost more than the bargain i paid for the watch. 🥳
