thanks for the through review, and it helped me decide on risking a purchase. Apparently there are 2 different movements being used. It is a handsome watch, and I'll probably just wait for it to go on sale.
Would be worth keeping an eye on for sure, might get a nice discount on the next one.

I just took delivery of this item.
Very nice, and I've always loved the VC Overseas.
Only minor complaint would be much stickier plastic wrapping than usual, which left sticky residue all over the bracelet. Had to wash it off.
Mine wasn't too bad but it is a bit of a pain for sure. Thanks
The best feature of this cheap homage is the case back and rotor. Its a cheap good looking watch.

Looks a pretty good homage, it would be nicer without the brand name and date, but only the movement is a real deal breaker even a Miyota 8 series would be a better bet over an unbranded mystery movement.

As a graphic designer, that cheap-looking logo was a huge letdown.

It is solid, just that movement is questionable.
Sorry, but I have to mention that my single worst AliExpress experience was with the linked Anyada Watch Store. Returned a sterile Baltany D12 to exchange for one with the logo. Only things I received in return were excuses and runaround. Ultimately, I received nothing for my $156 and was blocked from messaging them! Probably just my bad luck but thought I should share.
That really sucks, I've never had any bad experiences with them so far, but is bad. Did you report to aliexpress?
Interesting homage. Agree about the branding, the watch is unnecessarily cheapened the watch. I'm not sure about the movement. I used to have a GMT watch with a Mingzhou movement and that copy of the movement was real rubbish.
It is mate and you're right, the name is a let down as is the movement. Hopefully if they do make a v2 they'll address both. Thanks

Brand name is feels too comic for me, apart from that its a well made watch, can't argue too much with the movement especially for the price. Excellent review mate!

If the Chinese are doing NH35 copies it casts doubt over what we're getting in Chinese watches claiming to use the Seiko movement.
I get that, the seller said it was a mingzhu but who knows if they haven't made an nh35 clone too.
