Swatch YVS45G Review - Not Your Typical Swatch But Is That A Good Thing?

- What's happening good people, today I'm looking at a Swatch that isn't a normal Swatch and that could be a good thing or maybe not. What it is, is less hyped than the moonswatch, cooler imo and better in a lot of ways.

Nice review as always. Agree these type of bracelets need half links for better fit, just hit and miss with these type bracelets. As far as the subdials, have to disagree with you on the 1/10 per second subdial, I think for a chronograph it is proper to have, as opposed to a 24 hr subdial which is far more useless for a chronograph but that’s just my opinion. This is actually a swatch watch that I could go for, looks wise. Agree why bother with lume if you aren’t going to apply enough?

Good to see you back man! That looks pretty good on you bud! Id rather have this than the Moonswatch! Its not that busy for a chrono actually... No unnecessary text, unobtrusive date window. Not bad at all! I dont like the exclusive strap options but I am sure there are alternatives out there that would make this more comfy. This would look sweet on a nato strap. Would I buy this over a Citizen or Seiko... probably not.

Yes definitely change the hands no lume might as well be empty. That's why I like you can make video anywhere

It is an interesting offering. One of the best looking I’ve seen from swatch. It is a shame about the fit.
Yeah, if they'd have done a more traditional lug arrangement, it would make it so much more appealing as you could swap it out for something else. Thanks for watching
i’m new to this space but is it possible to get a higher quality bracelet. i love the aesthetic as well but worry about the fit. i’ve been doing quite a bit of reading and watching vids that say don’t let the bracelet put you off a watch you like.

I don't understand what the top right subdial is for. Does it only work after the stopwatch is stopped?
Its a pointless 1/10 second timer, it really has no purpose from what I can gather. Probably they had loads of this movement and decided to use it? Thanks for watching

There is a HACK that I figured out and I will tell your viewers. If you buy any 43mm Irony watches and want to add a NATO band, get the band for the SKYBOND YVS409. It is comes with a NATO strap adapter that fits the lugs of most 43mm. I have two NATO dedicated Swatch watches and just bought a third and that band and will add it to the third. The YVS407 is the other NATO Swatch that is 41mm
