Unboxing Seiko's Most Underrated Dive Watch
Hey guys, hope you're all doing well. Just wanted to share this new purchase which I think is Seiko's most underrated dive watch. Do you agree with me? Thanks guys.
Picked up this watch for $250, loved the proportions and solar charging. Bezel feels great. The silicone strap is supple, but there’s only one keeper and, as a result, it coming undone. Switched out the strap and really have been enjoying it!
Good find for $250 and I agree, the strap is fine for me though but I'll likely swap it out as well for different ones when I feel like it. Cheers
I believe it's not underrated, I believe the watch is well respected. The solar quartz movement is awesome and the rubber strap means you don't have to put up with hollow end links and a stamped clasp.
I see your viewpoint, compared to Seikos auto divers though, this is underrated. imo. The strap is awesome though, way nicer than the one on the samurai. Thanks

These are great watches considering the specs on offer. My issue with quartz watches is that I cannot justify myself on spending more than 200 dollars on them unless it houses a high accuracy movement. Waiting for your full review!

nice competitor to the citizen dive watch, Im not interested in it for my seiko collection however. glad to see its not another $700 prospex quartz watch

I had this exact watch but sold it on. Great watch, very light and comfortable. I just found it a little too small. Prefer something around 40mm.

I have the misfortune of owning a Seiko SNK809 K2 with the 7S26C movement fitted... It gains around 70 SECONDS a Week and I have been told that that is OK because it is an "Entry level" mechanical watch. Well, I disagree ..The purpose of a watch is to tell the ACCURATE time... If it can't do that it is a bad watch.. Regardless of how it is powered. I got "Caught" once... But I won't get fooled again. If I had not paid £100 GBP for this watch ..I would have thrown it in the bin. When you think I paid £70 GBP for a Casio G-Shock DW5900-1 ..£30 less for a FAR superior watch in every way.
Seiko..Your entry-level mechanical watches are rubbish ...Thank you for this video.

140 is a good price. But plain black is so boring.
I think this model has good color options too. I have the grayish-blue bezel.

@@nintendokings I could be wrong. I swear I heard him saying "I got it for 140" but looking at the link he provided it's closer to $400 which costs just too much I think.
