    John great story August 5, 2019 was the day of my accident. I was on my way to work and I was about 200 yards from the office when they say a groundhog ran out in front of me. I don't remember going to bed the night before and for 2 months. I I was in Birmingham and my rehab started at Spain rehab. After I went home I ended up with sepsis during the flu epidemic and I had to fly me to University of Tennessee hospital. Where they got me into shepherd and I was there for a month. I am on the schedule to go to the day program in November but I think COVID 19 may have pushed that back.

    • @JohnBelknap
      @JohnBelknap  3 года назад +2

      Man I hope they can get you in there by November and you regain more function. Work at it now so when you do get there you'll be ahead of the game. Best wishes

    I was lucky and survived 🙏 a 100mph 5.0 fox body role over, my buddy lost control speeding down a industrial park road that teens would race and do burn outs. We lost control into a flat field! A tree or ditch, i wouldn't be talking now

    So you did all that damage to that car running in 2nd gear you couldn’t of been doing anymore than 30-35 mph and that car was that heavily damaged? It looks like you was doing 100 mph but it is a ford they ant never been worth a crap in the safety department but there light that’s why people want them for race cars pull out that junk ford motor and transmission and stuff a Chevy motor in them and it’s pretty decent

    • @JohnBelknap

      It looks like that because they cut the roof off to get me out because the door wouldn't open. With a sci they didn't want to move me al around.

    • @adamhughes3599
      @adamhughes3599 Год назад +1

      I’m talking about the steering column squished down on you and all that I know the roof is like that because they cut it. Are you in Mississippi?

    • @JohnBelknap
      @JohnBelknap  Год назад +1

      @@adamhughes3599 GA. It's a uni-body car, they bend like that. That's why people put subframe connectors on them to stop the flex. When you hit an embankment things bend.
