I quit my boss today. Stress since 2 years. I feel sooooo good now... Right now...

I wish someone would hire me so I can become stressed out about work

Thankyou Jay. Beautiful one
Hi Everyone / Good Morning I would love to have Ryan work with me👍
I cried at this video. I’ve just put in my resignation today from my toxic job.
me too, I hope you're ok 🙏
So how do you feel now after one year
Congratulation
I’m going to put my resignation how do I do it ?
@@dabznslugg9492 I just resigned yesterday so here's what I did (just sharing my experience, might not be accurate for everyone). First, I wrote my official resignation letter but I didn't send it to HR yet. I told my direct supervisor I'd like to have a 1-to-1 talk. She somehow sensed that I wanted to resign but she said okay to it anyways. During our session, I shared what I felt and the reasons behind my decision. She then passed my message to our managing director, where I also talked with her and explained the same thing. Then, I finally showed her my official resignation, which was passed to HR. Now I'm just waiting to do our handover session and leave by end of Feb.
Might've missed your question if you were looking for a more emotional-centric answer, but here - you can do it. it might be stressful, but you can definitely do it. Take a deep breath, imagine what you clearly wanna say, and all in. All the best bud!
*People don't quit jobs...they quit Bosses* thanks Jay for this video....calls for maximum share! 😊👌👍
Exactly! I did it and a weight was lifted.
Yesssssss. I liked my last job and hated my boss. She was pure misery.

*Today's lesson: **_"Be the calmest person in the room"_*
Amen,
Not always! Not with that bitch boss in the video.
When some employees don’t stand up for their rights that makes bad Bosses take advantage and treat everyone horribly!
Yeah but sometimes doing that is like learning to be the punching bag. Just keep calm and keep smiling while people walk all over you...
Yes... I agree... If you are the least slimy and weakest in the room.Unless you are the strongest and most unkillable in the room. Good day to you.
That's what I am by nature. Today I realised that people were just thinking I wouldn't say anything even if they would insult me. But I am glad that I stood for myself.
Bosses like this will appear as charming and nice whe you first meet them but then their true personality surfaces when you start work for them. If you knew how nasty they were beforehand, you would not accept the job.
It's especially stressful when your family doesn't support you and say that you're too picky when it comes to job...😔
Yes I know that :(

You do die, sooner or later. Death is freedom, nothing to be afraid of.
Those 35% are people who do not work customer service. A retail worker or customer service representative will never tell you that their stress comes from their boss. It comes from nasty, negative, toxic, mean, ignorant, self important, egotistical human beings.
Being called studip, being yelled at like a child, getting scoffed at by adults because they didn't get their way. THAT'S where our stress comes in. Because people do not know how to act like decent beings.
Correct. I feel that too
I share the same feelings
Ture. I am a customer support engineer and stress mostly comes from my customers + my bosses and sometimes from the team members. The struggle is real.
Exactly ! I work in casino and I deal with self righteous people every single day. Everything is all about them. Good thing that my pay is great so it compensates having to deal with these clowns.
You wrote what was thinking
If life gives you anxiety instead of joy, it's just because the universe tries to communicate with you, that you don't belong in a certain environment and the healthier thing to do, is to extract the root to the problems.
*Always follow your inner voice and act out of abundance, doing things that bring you joy.*

Today I resigned from my job as an electrical engineer. Reason was mainly my two bosses. They were always made me feel worthless and low. Every time they talk about them selves hours and their past experiences, achievements etc. In the beginning I thought they will support me to improve my career but they were destroying my mental health and my skills. I'm so glad that finally I leave that hell. If you are reading this I wish you all the very best. Good luck people ❤
Good luck for you too friend..
Oh wow. I left a well paying job because my boss was just like this and increasingly venomous day by day.
How are things going now?
Nobody will come and tell us to take care of our mental health. We have to not be super nice and have a proper work life balance. The corporate world will always look to take advantage of you whatsoever so we just can't keep taking shit like that. They are never going to be friendly and cooperative. So we shouldn't be scared of them throwing us out. They can't do that kind of shit coz even it is difficult for them to recruit new people and train them.. we have to put full stop at some point when there is excess work load and not get scared of the company throwing us out. Let them throw us out we are not committing any crime or murder to be so scared. Because it will have huge impact on our mental health that's why we have to be tough sometime.

That was one of the reasons why I left my last job. It was getting harder and harder to go to work, every day I came home stressed and always shouted at my children, my husband and I always arguing. Until the day came when I said "Enough, I'd rather stay at home, take care of my children and my home if need be, than stay in an environment that only brings me unhappiness"

Unfortunately. No matter where u go theres going to be pros n cons. Its about picking the right situation that's you feel it's worth dealing with. That's happens in all jobs. Pick what best fits you. Too many people would rather stay at a crappy company, with horrible bosses, co-workers, hard work, and little pay, because they are scared to take risks, save enough money to go on unemployment for a while and then search for another job at another company. Life is too short to work at a job where they will treat you like a second-class citizen. I don't have a job at the moment but am currently looking for one, but the job i would love is a job where the boss is chill, friendly, helpful, you get along with coworkers, and they offer good work-life balance.
Amen! I have been trying to express this at my work place, and it is falling on deaf ears. It seems to be a pattern to devalue the workers that make your company! A company must treat employees and customers with respect and make them feel valued in order to flourish. It’s really a simple rule.
If you have 3 friends in your company, you will be satisfied in your salary +200%. If you have a best friend your company, that's will increase +700% or motivation. People don't usually quite a job because of salary. Rather feeling less appreciated or human relationship.
I'm quitting my current job at the end of this week, I've been working there for 3 years and a few months ago I started to feel stuck, depressed and tired, this video came in a great part of my life, thank you very much!
I work at homegoods and its everyday that I feel this. I feel like im on a leash and I cant seem to concentrate at all because I'm being thrown around. I'm dying I have no one to come home to. Its when I get home that im shaking and getting nightmares and I cant seem to control myself.
DON'T forget these so called bosses are threatened they'll be replaced by employees that have real talent. They aren't team players for the company, but self serving aholes. It is not just bosses, even co-workers are becoming harder to work with, so much rumors, dramas, spying and kissing big a sses. If it continues in this speed, we will have mental people all around us. No respect, no morals, no professionalism anymore.
We need to make the right choices for our own health care. People don't with their jobs, they quit bosses and managers who can't manage their emotions and stress... it's not your manager's job to manage your mental health, it's your job.
Jay. Your absolutely, a bright light... thank you so very much, for your hard work....
Always have a plan b in hand
I quit a job because of a boss. I thought I was not smart enough. Employers do not like you quitting without having a job lined up, so I struggled for a year. It turns out, everwhere that manager went, employees quit that were under her (even those that had a lot of knowledge). I guess it was not just me....
During that last years I have changed 6 different accounting positions each one with its own stressful issues. I’m only 2 weeks in to my 6th company in a year and not only they don’t train me but they expect me to know their companies accounting by heart. I have not worked as an accountant in a healthcare company. It’s stressful, no body even talks to you. You feel like a garbage 🗑. I’m getting sick and tired of this cycle. I’m getting my MBA next year for higher positions with better companies. I think I’m going crazy and depressed.
Dude my boss always hovers over my shoulder while I’m working. Drives me crazy
that's micro-managing, I used to have a boss like that, he was made redundant and now works for a much bigger company. the idiot who replaced him is also doing the same, but worse...
Spend time with your family as much as you can.
Eff being an employee. It’s time to be the employer 💪
This one really resonated with me since I'm in the process of leaving a job for a third time for many of those very reasons for what I hope is a much better situation.
when you plan to quit your job anyways i'd encourage you to talk with your boss first and don't be afraid of standing your ground while doing so, prepare yourself properly and provide constructive criticism - if things go wrong you can leave just as you planned and if things happen to turn in your favour you won
I needed this like 5 years ago!!! Thank you!!! I WILL be sharing!!!
Even three years later, this content is helping me. Thanks Jay!
So true, just did that in the spring. Feel so much better. Heading towards bigger and better things. Life is too short. 🥰
Some people cannot afford to quit or they'll have no money to get by. It's a cruel system and hard to break free. Face financial struggle or face daily stress that's eating away at your soul.
And most importantly if your boss is mean lady 👿🤣
Stress is likely to kill you faster than a malnourished diet but still get a good diet.
Stress can give you a heart attack right? I'm thinking maybe even kidney stones.
Quote of the video: you can outsource many things but can't outsource your own self care.
Everytime i imagine about leaving, I feel a sense of peace. No joking. It's like being free. I was on leave for almost 2 months and I was so at peace.
I've lost all faith in the work place system.
Now I just do whats right for me and possibly move on.
Stress isn’t too bad when you are in your 20’s. It’s when you get to 30 plus your body slows down the production of stem cells and the stress seeps through the cracks and causes anxiety and irritability and you really need a strategy to offset the negative effects of the stress like meditation.
I don’t know I’m 25. I don’t even want to get out of bed in the morning. My hair is literally falling out and breaking from the amount of stress I’m dealing with. I’m miserable.
Very true. In my 30s now, I feel the mental stress is more severe and body cant take it😢

I know this is completely off topic of the video but.
Nowadays people would stare at other people telling themselves they wish they had "that" and "this". But they don't look at themselves and think about people who have "less than them. Not people who had "more" than them. They keep on envying that person not thinking of how grateful they should be for what they have. At the end of the day. Its not important bragging about what you DONT HAVE. Be thankful of WHAT YOU HAVE. If your poor. People feel down on you. If your rich. People respect you a lot. I think that's one wrong mindset in our society nowadays. I know this might sound ridiculous to type .But at the end of the day no matter how successful you are. The way people respect you can't really be controlled. If you think that you wish you had this and that. You can't really change what they're gonna do. They post they're lifestyle. Designer things and all .But Change about how you think about it. Have a great day.❤️

This is an extremely fitting video right now. I left my last job because my boss made me feel easily replaceable. As a first year teacher I was treated horribly. Thankfully I’m at a wonderful new school, with an extremely supportive administration team, and feel like the teacher I’ve always wanted to be. I have gotten to fall back in love with my profession. I won’t lie, it’s still a stressful job, but it’s so much more rewarding now.
My issue is, my job is pulling me in 100 different directions and then they have 50 different tracking systems. I get calls from clients, there mother, father, children, and attys, on top of emailing me. I get several emails about various performance reports, emails from other adjusters, message from different departments, from banks, and other financial institutes for documentation. Along with my daily new claim count, my follow ups, additional contacts, closures, exposures, and so on and so forth. Not to mention we use about eight different apps to do our job on top of several mandatory meetings. After the meetings I have new emails and voicemails.
