Huge fan! I am fellow Mazda 6 owner (2018, 2.5T with some mods) and I will for sure use your recommendations when it comes to some of the fluids you use for the transmission. Currently putting in an upgraded rear swaybar on mine. I have been very curious to the longevity of these cars, especially when they make a bit of power, and it seems they can take it.
Can't speak for it with forced induction but, my buddy's an angry driver who's been beating the crap out of his automatic 6 for over 200k miles, only changing rear shocks, brakes, tires and oil. As a calmer driver(in my daily), I'm looking for a 6 based on his experience being unable to kill one.
The mazda 6 cooling fans low speed start at a bit higher coolant temp ( about 95 degrees celsius ) . I always feel like it would be better if they started at 85 degrees celsius. That would be a must -i guess - If you supercharge it
Hey I saw that you mentioned the subframe collars at around 10:50 and I'm interested in trying get those installed on my car. How was the install? Could you do it with just jackstands and some elbow grease? Or would you recommend me to take it to a mechanic.
I did it on jack stands in my garage, not hard, just loosen all of them to let it settle down, then remove one at a time, put in the rigid collar, put back in, then move onto the next one.
I just exploded transmission 1# with sitting in hot stop and go traffic at 40k miles, how do you feel if I was to separate the stock oil/trans cooler. Thinking of putting in a Mishimoto heavy duty trans cooler with an adaptor plate and removing the stock oil cooler for a larger 19 row oil cooler
I have a Mazda CX 3 with a 2.0 Skyactiv 120 hp engine and an automatic transmission. I'm thinking about buying this compressor. Does the automatic transmission handle this well?
Doe you know if the EBC Yellow pads have a lot of break dust? I have Brembo pads but the dust is horrible and they do squeal some at least when cold which is a tad bit annoying for daily use. I am guessing you have an Auto but do you know anything about the Manual Gearbox? Since I got the car sometimes the car doesn't want to go into gear and I have to take it out and put it back in and I don't know what causes it, its really irregular and I hear no noises or vibrations is that sometimes I just can't shift it into the gear
This dudes walking so I can I run, I’m looking at these right now and going to get one soon I love this channel
1st & 2nd on the way 🏆
I remember you saying something also about the collars too. I'd like to find a set for my 6.
🤞
Real masterclass and inspiration 🙌 Didn't even realize this was a 20 min video felt like 2 mins lol
Thank you!
Lots of good advice and another notch on how incredible this platform is. Thanks again Dano!
Wow! What a clinic on how to make a 6 what you want it to be!

Your transmission handle 270 nm. So you can install supercharger

yes, the yellows made a ton of brake dust, trying to figure out alternatives for the 3 now that I'm "restarting"
@@M6Ninja I wonder if greens would have less but obviously not good for track use is my guess
