This is NOT expensive, relative to other swiss chronographs. There is in fact nothing that compares for that price new. IWC sells 5k watches with ETA movements in them. Those three letters command a higher premium, that's really all there is to it, IMO. If Hamilton were perceived differently, the intra-matic would have an in-house movement and sell for 9k like a Breitling B01 chronograph, IMO.
Weird . This is the first time I see a watch reviewer uses timegrapher to give us info about its accuracy. Why all reviewers don’t do this? Knowing that this model works within +/-3 accuracy is very helpful to make a decision about whether to buy or not. I wish all reviewers use this graph and share info with the followers. Thx! I subbed !
I just received this Hamilton panda today, it is truly a gem, smaller than I thought, but I knew camera somehow shows all watches bigger than they actually are. 😀 It feels so light and therefore delicate, and I am scared of breaking It. 😊 How many times we need to turn the crown for it to be fully winded? There is no power reserve indicator. So far so good! thanks for the review, your review prompted me to pull the trigger and buy it. I bought it from jomashop for 1676 USD including all taxes and shipping.
Congratulations! Very nice. Now I would just be safe and give it just 10 turns and let it wind up automatically on the wrist as you wear it throughout the day.
Thank you for the review - been tracking this watch since it was announced, it's absolutely beautiful, like you said, I need a chronograph in my collection and this one is on my radar - waiting for the price of this to come down a little before I start to consider pulling the trigger on one - the cream black dial is much nicer looking than the blue version, imo 🙂
I love the watch. Sadly, I had to return it on Day-1. The chronometer function didn't work properly. I don't know if I received a lemon but I'm hesitant to get another one.
This Hamilton is part of my 3 watch collection, along with the Speedmaster Pro and an SKX. I'm thinking about replacing the SKX with another Chronograph though, not sure which one yet.
What a great looking watch. I’ve seen pics on IG, but this is the first review I have watched on it. What’s not to like ? Maybe it’s a little thick, but sat so well on your wrist. I don’t think the date should be black. Be a distraction down there. It’s very legible, so 👌🏻. Another great review!
It bothers me SO MUCH that people don't understand why all watches with 7750/53 based movements are going to be "thick" (13-15mm). They can't make the movements skinnier! It's like complaining because a 5 liter engine is 5 liters but not 4 liters or 3 liters. It's a 5 liter engine!!!! If you want a slender chrono get a manual wind, or a zenith el primero, or a quartz.
I have the hamilton Intra-Matic Chronograph , I have a 7 inch wrist & fits perfectly . What a beautiful watch , however I have looked on the Hamilton Website , It is - 10 + 15 . However my watch turns out at plus 5 minutes a week , it is still under warranty It has been calibrated however I want to send it off to get get it running as it should . What do you think comments would be welcomed
excellent review, congratulations! In your opinion, which watch to choose between Bigeye and Hamilton Intra matic based on the future possibility of maintaining the price in reselling it is also for wearability for a 17 cm wrist? thanks
So a day after I bought my blue Willard, I found one of these at half off, brand new from an AD. The sales guy told me that the company has put them on clearance for some odd reason. Long story short the one he sold me was a dud, the movement stopped at 57 seconds after the chrono started. They brought another one into the store and I’ve been thinking about picking it up and now you are doing a review. Coincidence after the blue Willard now the Hamilton? Hahaha 🤣😅
The movement alone is 8mm. They cannot make the movement thinner for obvious reasons. Because it's an 8mm movement. There is a reason why every watch that uses similar movements are similar sizes.
@@ams914 Like I said it's thick due to price and type of movement (chrono). There is a reason every watch at a certain price point is thicker than I'd like. Keep floating those balloons bud.
@@EscapementWatch ...well, you have a Certina at the same price, or lower, with a greater caliber... Said this, not because the watch industry is going crazy in prices it means more than €2K is a reasonable price for a non column-wheel chronograph... Hamilton is breaking their natural price borders, like many other brands nowadays...
It's bizarre that you would even compare the two, being as they are giving you completely different aesthetics. I don't think anyone is cross-shopping those models, but who knows.
This is my grail watch. I absolutely love it.

Another great review man.
These things are regulated in the same shop as Omega...at least they were when I went there in 2004,
Very informative review, well done! I'm planning to purchase this watch from my military exchange $1492.oo
Just jumped on this deal as well! Too good to pass up

I have same collection but instead of skx a navitimer a23322. Just to give you an idea
Skx is a classic you could keep it as a beater
Nice review. This is on my short list to buy now!
Good choice!
Just got mine I love it. It feels clean simple but yet very beautiful.
Great to hear!
What a lovely dial. But a bit oversized case and L2L sizes.

Really perfect review. Thanks

Very very nice watch Sir 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
I am in love 🥰🥰🥰 with this watch

I'd say very close but longines bigeye the edge
Beautiful. Thanks for the review
No problem 👍
after watching so many reviews, for me, this is the best entry level Chronograph watch, next would be Tudor then Breitling Premier B01
Did you see the Titanium Longine big eye? I did a review on it. Blue texture dial. 41mm

Do you think seagull panda is comparable to Hamilton panda?
quality wise the Hamilton is superior.
A little thick and I'd rather not have a pusher for the date but lovely execution on the dial.
I spot another Hamilton in the background 👀
good eye! Its the Pilot Day Date.
Love it but 49,3mm log-to-lug, that's a lot! Probably too much for my 16,5mm wrist. Date dial should be off-white/cream like the main one or black.
16.5mm wrist . That's about the size of a pencil . Any watch would be too big for you .
:-) :-) um, nm, mm, cm... what's the difference! ;-)
I like the look; bit thick, but may not be easy to thin a chrono at this price. The date-window should have matched the off-white of main dial though.

Just bought this - and a cool retro rally strap to make it my own
@Peking Dux a bit but nothing that has been an issue for me. It sits ‘down into’ my wrist if that makes sense
I think you changed the date in the danger zone.
i just tested it. its fine. Was not pushed hard enough.
Still waiting on a super compressor re issue
A historical design for the brand doesn't justify an enormous price..., at all... Hamilton is going nuts.
what swiss made chronograph would you take at a lower price? is there any decent ones?

What is your wrist size?
6.5in
Well, certainly not the "Keg" in Orange Beach
Loo
For that price, I'd rather go 500 more and pick up a speedmaster pro.
Surely the speedy is quite a bit more?
@@plusgood15 ive found alot of them pretty much unused for 2500-3000$.
