I love the look of the very thin bezels around the Galaxy S23. It looks so satisfying. And it’s the perfect size for a phone too (just ever so slightly narrower than the iPhone 13)
I have a 13 and it’s shit, I’ve thought that from day one just never returned it, my XR was better only issue was the battery was old and screen was shattered
@F N I had an iPhone xr prior and I spent £800 on the 13 and it felt literally no different except a better camera, even the battery life doesn't feel as good. Just got an s23 ultra yesterday and while I was using both phones to transfer pictures and stuff the 13 felt like it was 10 years older even on the new ios. Just constant issues with crashing and it being slow really
Is facetime a good enough reason to go for iphone over samsung? I have had a samsung my whole life. Rn i have the s10e (i have very small hands) but i feel like not being able to face time people has put me at a social disadvantage since less and less people want to use snap video call since it can be unrelyable. I love that samsung has buttons instead of swiping for everything and i think samsung is just better over all but idk apple is smaller and i dont wanna be as lonley. Any thoughts?
I'm rewatching this again because I'm very torn right now. I bought the iPhone 13 a week ago and my mother has the s23. I like both of the phones honestly. Iphone 13 is good, but camera wise quality, s23 wins it both front and back camera. It's no doubt. I also love the 120hrtz of s23. Battery wise, both phones are just almost the same. Ah,as hard as it is I think I'm gonna trade my iPhone 13 128gb for s23 256gb. Iphone 13 is really good tbh. It was such a good week switching from an android to apple and was already adjusting to it. Everything was just so aesthetic when it comes to iphone and its cinematic video feature. But for longevity, I'm not really sure. I need everyone's opinion about this. The thing that made me want to switch is the 256gb capacity and camera. I may or may not regret this decision. I hate being me for such indecisiveness.
How are you doing today with your s23? I would also like to buy it, although it is difficult to get it in my country, since I can find the iPhone 13 (Open Box)for for a similar price or a little less and everywhere... I would like to know if it is worth buying the S23 before the iPhone 13, to continue searching and save money for buy it, any comment I would appreciate

4:57 well you cant really tell the difference in the refresh rate because youtube videos doesnt support 120fps videos but in real life if you got used to 120fps you can never go back to 60fps
I think I'm NOT going to get the S23U. I prefer smaller phones. I had the LG V20 for 2 years and hated putting it in my pocket and impossible carrying it in a holster case in vertical or horizontal position since it's too tall and wide. I like the convenience and ergonomics of smaller phones. Now my foldable flips are as tall as an S Ultra when they're opened but they're narrow and can still be pocketable when closed. I still use Nova and keep my apps at the middle with weather widget on all the pages. My homescreen is perfectly arranged for using taller phones. My problem is carrying it or putting it in my pocket. I see a lot more people on RUclips who were using an iPhone 14 Pro or Pro Max and downgraded to a 13 mini. After the novelty wears off from the S23U's great battery life and that camera, I think people will start feeling how cumbersome it is to wield or carry such a large device like that. As a teen, I'd wear baggy pants. Like 10 sizes above my actual waistline. Now my pants are the right fit which means smaller pockets. Holster/belt case can hurt my ribs trying to bend over wearing tighter pants. I see some commenters already tired carrying around their Fold 4. The novelty of foldables is wearing off on people and ones who said they wouldn't go back to a boring slab are now going back to a boring slab. Like JWill is saying, my preference is that S23 size. Nothing bigger than that. My dad used Notes for years. Since the Note 2 in 2012. Currently uses a Note 9 that came out 4 years ago. He wants to get a Flip because he's sick and tired using large slabs. At some point, people will have a limit to the size no matter how many more features and better battery life it has over the smaller, cheaper variants. And some of us don't have small hands. We just want one-handed comfort and pocketability again. My biggest phone I still use and is currently in my rotation is an iPhone X. I got it used for $125 from OfferUp only 2 months ago but it's in pristine condition. For an iPhone turning 6 this Nov, it's still a fun phone to use and hold. I don't want a slab much larger than that. And I find the X a tad too heavy already close to the weight of my blocky and wide Essential Phone. The base S23 is about the same size as the old X but slightly taller. My old LG G5 is slightly larger than my iPhone X and it started feeling bulky after getting used to narrow phones like the iPhone 7, SE3, and Pixel 3. My G5 battery is completely dead and I don't really care to buy another as it has short battery life no matter what. I still put a case on all my phones which adds more dimensions and weight. As for the Z Folds, I respect people who enjoy it. But each time I try to find a case for it, I never could find a good one. And some apps are still not optimized for that inner screen. Just seems like a waste of $1800 or getting locked up for 2 to 3 years because many techtubers think owning it is cool and want to make it trendy. The most fun phones for me are smaller phones. I still use an iPhone 4S, SE1, 7, X, and SE3 every other day next to my Razr 5G and Flip 3. I owned a Note 3 and LG V20 and just never got used to their size. Never used that S-Pen from the Note 3. Base S23 is my max limit for a phone. If we get to the sizes of the iPhone XR/11, I find it too uncomfortable. I'm looking beyond gimmicks and the honeymoon phase factor from every new shiny toy. My next phone should be the 13 mini. Battery life is no big deal since I can rotate between 4 to 9 phones every day even if some of them are 5 to 7-years-old. Give me comfortable ergonomics over gimmicks I'll hardly ever use. I'd be picking up the base S23 if I had to pick one. GSMArena still gave it 16 & 17-hours for web browsing and video playback which is still great and higher than the 13 mini. S23 is basically like the 13 mini of the S23's lineup but more of the same size as the iPhone X/XS and 11/12/13/14 Pros. Do I see myself ever using that 100X zoom a lot or S-Pen? Highly unlikely. So I'll save around $400. For people who are enjoying their S23U, keep enjoying it. It's obviously a great phone. It's just not a phone for everyone because that SIZE and WEIGHT is not for everyone just like a Z Fold and Flip will never be for everyone.
