  • This week, I went to Tuck and Robin Lakes for a one-night backpacking trip. This hike is a beautiful example of the Alpine Lakes Wilderness and is located right by the Pacific Crest Trail. It is a challenging but gorgeous hike and I would definitely recommend it to more experienced hikers who are comfortable following carins and with scrambles.
    See you on the trail!

Really great production value! Been thinking about doing this trip; your video is extremely helpful in getting a feel of the trail beforehand. Thanks for the video! Just subbed.

Thanks for sharing this video I used it I was a reference just went there two days ago. First day was epic and the next morning things got a little ugly so I packed up and headed out. Unfortunately I did not get to see any goats. And I climbed all over those hills looking, lol oh well maybe next time when I go back.

Ellen, this is an amazing video, I love seeing the clouds in your time lapses, as well as the amazing small alpine trees! Chin it looks like you made good use of your REI chair!

I"ve done that hike. Gorgeous views! I remember one day I think we climbed 2,000 feet in elevation if I remember correctly. It was TOUGH but glad I went. Ever see any Bigfoot up that way on hikes? I remember swimming out to that island on the first campsite you did.
