- This week, I went to Tuck and Robin Lakes for a one-night backpacking trip. This hike is a beautiful example of the Alpine Lakes Wilderness and is located right by the Pacific Crest Trail. It is a challenging but gorgeous hike and I would definitely recommend it to more experienced hikers who are comfortable following carins and with scrambles.
See you on the trail!

Really great production value! Been thinking about doing this trip; your video is extremely helpful in getting a feel of the trail beforehand. Thanks for the video! Just subbed.
hike for 40 years in Washington this was the worse trail ive encountered but i think the second most beautiful place ive been the Enchantments being the best, you can get lost going up and coming back from Robin
Heading up this week! Had my eye on this place for years now.
Thanks for sharing this video I used it I was a reference just went there two days ago. First day was epic and the next morning things got a little ugly so I packed up and headed out. Unfortunately I did not get to see any goats. And I climbed all over those hills looking, lol oh well maybe next time when I go back.
Ellen, this is an amazing video, I love seeing the clouds in your time lapses, as well as the amazing small alpine trees! Chin it looks like you made good use of your REI chair!
Brian Hitchens Thanks! Did you just get around to watching it? Haha
Very helpful video. Pretty place.
I"ve done that hike. Gorgeous views! I remember one day I think we climbed 2,000 feet in elevation if I remember correctly. It was TOUGH but glad I went. Ever see any Bigfoot up that way on hikes? I remember swimming out to that island on the first campsite you did.
Did this hike! I just posted some footage from my trip up there check it out :)
You got some pretty rad footage on your trip! Thanks for checking our video out
