Never tire of those mountain views and the color of that beautiful water. Yum, sure hope that creamer had some whiskey or rum in it! haha! Thanks for sharing. :) :)
Hello. I knew about your channel when viewing that episode with Joey Coconato in the team. Your videos are great. I've been watching almost all of the recently. Beautiful filming, amazing scenery and good friends to hike with. That is heaven. All the vest for next adventures!!! Hike on!
Beautiful! Looked like a fun time. I need to force myself to hike in the Cascades one of these days and not worry about the crowds. Thanks for sharing! Great video! Hike on!
I can't lie that my heart sank when I saw how big the (multiple) parking lots were and the fact that they were all full (and we got an early start). We didn't really see people while we were on trail though, but once we found our campsite, there was a steady stream of people walking the trail. We were lucky though, from our site there were no other campsites near it and when we were on the lake we would occasionally see people on the shore, but not many. The crowds are the reason I do not hike here often.
Can’t beat a short & flat hike in! I haven’t made it out to Washington yet but it looks like an enticing backpacking destination. Time just keeps flying right on by
Great! Did some hiking in Idaho's Seven Devils Mountains & Lemhi Range. Next up is Yellowstone, I'll be in Montana late-Aug/Early-Sep to try to score some walk-up permits at Glacier
Im gonna have to trust you that the steaks were delicious! Lol. Man those time lapses were epic and some of those shots with the clouds you could put on canvas and sell. This is proof positive it doesnt have to be a long hike to be a good hike.
My nephew got that time lapse for me! I had my doubts about this one going in to it, just because it was so short, but it turned out way better than I would've guessed. Perfect steaks helped!
amazing! love the time lapse, beautiful shots of the land, as always🙏🏻 I could easily do it out of Seattle sometime. not this year though😆I'm doing eastern sierras in august, desolation wilderness (tahoe) and eagle cap wilderness (oregon) in september!!💙 I assume that is bailey's in your morning coffee??😆
The shores were really great, but the mud was soft! More than once when walking along the shore in the water, you would just sink up to your knee! I see more snakes on your TikToks than anywhere!
wow simply breath taking!! Stopped me in my tracks!! So very very beautiful!! Thank you.
That place had the same affect on me! Thanks for checking it out!
@@mountainwanderer Your very welcome & my pleasure. I appreciate you taking the time to comment.
Wow, what a beautiful forest! Nice camp spot and an amazing, everchanging sunset. Just perfect.
You have to love the Cascades! Very different than the country I normally wander in.

Time is certainly one of the most precious things!

The color of the water was really cool! Of course there was a little something extra in that creamer!! 😂
Some really pristine looking country up that way and pleasing to the eye. Enjoyed watching!
The Cascade Range is full of that! Thanks for watching!
Sure is a beautiful place to explore, thanks for the awesome video.
Thank you for checking it out!
Thanks Travis❤ I’m working at my desk and this was a nice little break from it all. And glad everybody jumped in the lake 🏊🏼♀️🏕️
Love it! Happy to be the little getaway in the work day!
Beautiful place!
Awesome sunset 👊🏻
I love it every time I get to witness a sunset like that!
That a pretty majestic place! Steaks on the fire mountain man style! You got one hell of a sunset! Good to see you out on trail! 🥾⛰️
July has been pretty slow for backpacking for me this year.... but things are about to pick up! Thanks for checking it out!

Some great shots. Especially liked the one at the 4:47 mark. Also, your outro words definitely resonated with me. Thnx Travis.
Enjoyed, Tom.
That sunset was a lot of fun! I usually start running around like a kid in a candy store once we start getting some colors in the sky!

How has your summer been going? Where is the next trip for you?

Ahhh the Eagle Caps in September! I'm jealous! I can't wait till my next trip there. That is not quite Baileys, but you're on the right track!
Looked like a good lake to swim in since there's not much debris on shore. That snake scene made me jump a little lol

What a gorgeous sunset you captured! And good to see some clear blue western skies.
You have to get them while you can!
This is the stuff that makes me plan on moving BACK to pnw area😅
There are a bunch of lakes in the Cascades like this!
Plan on going there soon. When did you go? Looks lovely, just hoping there's no algae bloom
This trip was in July. Thanks for checking it out!
I love you
