Thanks to Samsung for such a great product... I get excited everytime I use the fold 3. Having had all three of the Z folds I have enjoyed the improvements with each one. Be sure you get a Spigen slim armor pro case for $80. It's the only case that works.
Looks really cool, but honestly the step from the first to the second Z Fold was SO much bigger. Kinda surprised! (But I am OK with it since I’m saving $1800 LOL)
The prize would be 2400 dollars and you are getting such expensive tech like foldable screen with spen support and ip rating all these is expensive so to keep costs down they use s21 cameras rather than the ultras camera
I am using an S21U now and getting a Z Fold 3. Not a deal breaker at all. The amount of times I've used 100x or even 30x zoom is minimal. As long as it takes decent normal pics and portrait pics then I'm set. I'm actually more disappointed in the 108mp on the S21U.
That's why Samsung needs a Z Fold 4 and... a Z Fold 4 Ultra next year. Because I will pay a few hundred more for better camera and bigger Z Fold Screens on front and on the inside which gives space for bigger battery and possibly a s pen slot like on the Note Phones. Either way I will Pre-Order the Silver Z Fold 3. S Pen 🖊 & water resistance is why I'm upgrading.

I'm still enjoying my Samsung fold 2. Got a Spigen slim armor pro case. Best case for the fold 2 and I'm assuming 3. It said that the cameras are not as great as the flagship phones Samsung or making now. They could have at least thrown in a pair of USB headphones for free and I really would have liked to see a micro sd the card slot on the fold 3. The hauwai mate X3 has the micro SD card slot with the same tray as the Sim card. .
Sadly I dropped my Note 8, it still works, but the screen is cracked, so no trade-in value. If I go this route (only because it is S-Pen capable), it is full price for me.
@@jeffdodson816 If you want new Note, I highly suggest wait until Feb next year, Samsung should introduced next gen Note alongside new S series which make sense since both becoming closer together. If all goes smoothly, the early year Unpacked will be dedicated for S and Note while the 2nd Unpacked will be specifically for their foldables, more streamline I would say. My 2 cents ...
Always hate phone with fingerprint scanner at the power button on the right side. I hold phone with left hand so kinda annoying me to use middle finger to unlock
The design is definitely premium in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, but I heard/seen in one of Mrwhosestheboss' videos that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 doesn't have great software. Let's take the camera as an example. I mean, why is this phone more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy S21 and S22 ultra. I haven't used the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 yet. So I could be wrong. Mrwhosetheboss is a very good RUclips channel though. I trust his information. Both the design, software, technology etc should be balanced in my opinion.

If you notice when taking pics it says "refining photo" seems they are trying the HD+ approach google have been doing. I have trouble between my Pixel 3a and this phone telling some of the pics apart
Used to be a fan of Samsung but they manufacture device that don't last long enough comparing the price. Maybe this is also the reason they release new models so frequently so user have to buy their device.
Am I the only one who has Unfold Anxiety? I can't seem to get a good grip on this damn thing for the life of me, each unfold brings new bubbles into the front facing screen protector.

I recently dropped my Note 8 without a case on it, still works, but no way will I ever have a phone without a case. Also, this Z-Fold is supposed to be S-Pen compatible. How does that work? Where do you put it? I hear some of the non-fold, non-Note Samsung phones are S-Pen compatible, and the S-Pen is kept in the case. So, goes back to my other question I guess, the case? Spigen have been my go-to for cases for all my Note devices and they have offerings for the Fold 3 (and previous gens) so I'll likely go for one of these, not a fan of the preorder pack case but it does have a slot for the fold spen down the spine, fold spen pro is larger and has its own case (though its usb c charged, why they didn't have wireless charging via the case I don't know!). I also had a Note 8 drop recently, with a case on, and, thanks to the awful curved screen design, the damn thing still smashed! Luckily it was an old phone rather than my daily. I've dropped my note 10+ with a similar spigen case from about 2ft on to concrete getting out the car a few times and so far I've been lucky enough not to hit the curve and the device is still pristine.
So there is a screen protector on front display like the past few gen' of notes and galaxy's? I'm seeing other people say there isn't on the front...only inside.

I have a iPhone 11 Pro and want to get this upgrade for my husband but with no adapter and having to come out of pocket to buy an essential to this huge bill of a phone ($1799) that's the least that could come with the phone I mean if no one watched this unboxing and got their fold in the mail they would probably have to wait to use the phone because it wouldn't be able to charge :/ still want it for my husband just think Samsung could do better in that aspect
You can get very good deals on this fold 3. I got this phone at the same price ($300 lower if factored in freebies) as the iphone 13pro max (everything else being equal). So a charger should not be a consideration (as you can get any compatible charger at $20).
I would like to see a full review please maybe with what messages look like on the outer display and typing on both screens how that looks. Also I know some apps on the inner display you need to download some apks to get them to do full screen like IG
i just keep my z fold 2 no much of an upgrade besides the processor and screens alittle but ill wait till the fold 4 comes and hope it has major differences
