Thanks for the insight. I actually just bought a refurbished Z fold 3 listed as being in "excellent condition". I suppose you always take a chance on buying refurbished devices online as you aren't able to inspect the hardware personally. However, this will be my first folding device and it has spen support. I do alot of autodesk drawing so the tablet aspect of this phone truly appeals to me. I also ordered a Samsung S pen z fold edition as many have recommended. This device will replace my Note 20 Ultra 5g from like 5 years ago, so this device will be an up-grade in many ways. I will also use this for media and gaming. Mobile Legends bang bang is going to look great on this. You also confirm what others have said about how fragile the hinge is, so I bought a case that has a spine that covers the hinge and also serves as a storage bay for the S pen. It will make the phone heavier and bulkier (yeah I know), but I'll have it paired to my pixel watch and ear buds while it chills in my daypack. Overall I think this was a good buy. Buying stuff second hand online is always dicey, but I am confident in the seller's reputation. Always gotta do research. I shall see for myself as it comes in tomorrow. I will come back in a week and leave my thoughts. I really miss my note though. I am sad the line is ending with the note 20 ultra. I may buy another Note just to keep. It was the best phone I ever had and i've had mine for almost 4 years, screen replaced twice but still fulfilled my needs. We'll see how the Zfold3 holds up to my life. Ill be back with those thoughts. Great Video!

Well ive had a fold 3 256gb in jan 2022 kept until the end of the year but couldve easily kept i bought excellent refurbished from amazon, but i mistakenly damaged my inner screen trying to peel it of and put a replacement screen on so i replaced it in jan 2023 with a 2nd fold 3 512 gb that turned out to be dud. But waited until apr 2023 and replaced that with another 512gb fold 3 and its worked great since. My only issue was it had minor scratches, and scrapes on the hinge. But nothing a nice case couldnt remedy.
I'm on my second zfold 3. Both phones the folding screen self destructed itself. Be careful if you get one. I loved my folding screen, but now I am stuck with the outside screen
Got mine two days ago for 150bucks, i think that was a steal for me. Only thing is it has one bad little tiny pixel in the inside screen. Nothing u think about if u are not told. Im daily driving a flip 5 but think im switching to the fold.

I have to say I loved my Z fold 3 but the one i have had I had it since launch. Several months ago I had opened up my phone to take a note for work my phone locked up then restarted randomly. After the phone came back on I noticed that I no longer had WiFi or Hot spot capabilities. You can toggle it on and it acts like it is trying to work but it never does. This come to find out is a flaw with the data cable breaking in the hinge as you mentioned also. This defect also follows the fold 4 and 5 although not sure if they have solved this issue for the fold 6. This is a known issue that many users have posted about in forum and Samsung knows about so to me no this phone is not good for long term use. Which sucks since i really loved the phone but had to get the 24 ultra instead due to this issue. I have considered getting the fold 6 but find it hard to justify the price for a phone that will only last 2.5 or 3 years at the most if you are lucky..... On top it is all now i am having issues with the outside display working intermittently again due to the data cable wearing out in the hinge so there is that... not to mention the lacking cameras and various other compromises they make on the phone. I went somewhere to try to get it fixed and they wouldn't even touch the phone since they are so hard to work on without breaking something on it. I hope this information helps some that is considering this.

I bought a used Fold 3 in Feb of 2024. Loved it... until this past week when the wifi stopped working. Searched on the internet, turned out this is a known-issue --- the wifi flex cable spans the hinge, so after repeated open and close, the thing just breaks and gets worn down. I haven't decided whether to get it fixed (big $$ in the US) or buy another one yet.
I got a used z fold 3, the owner said the cover screen has two green lines, but the fold screen is okay ( by the way the z fold 3 is getting one ui 7 it's last update😢 )
No memory card and stingy memory options don't make sense if you're recording 4K video and actually using your phone unless they want to upsell you for more memory, that's still stingy if them, and also pay for cloud space along with the premium for the phone itself. This is not a smart move.
Hello man, I have been watching yours videos since a few days and i find your videos pretty interesting and non-biased. I want your opinion that should i buy lg v60? If not, than recommend a phone under 150$ because your opinion is based.
That's the issue. The LG V60 is a good phone, and a no brainer if you need the quad Dac headphone jack. The battery and usage of the phone is fine, and the camera is on par with really what LG produced normally. Good, but not good when switching cameras or to night time...or video. Thank you, thank you. I love the fold 3... size and everything... I thought I was trippin ' b/c I knew the fold 6 was not a huge upgrade.😅.. thank you! Why spend another $2,000 on minor cpu speed and graphics...oh yeah and AI features 😅(I love AI by the way)...just saying
Still not a fan of the samsung bloatware.
