Jesus pulled me out of 30 years of weekend binge drinking over a dozen years ago. I am now an evangelist and still fell like the man in Acts 3:8 - "walking, leaping & praising God"!
What I find reassuring about all these testimonies I hear is that there's a common thread of God calling them home even when they weren't Christian. Like something in them is being drawn to God despite the life they had been living at that time. This was my experience also and looking back I can see that God was with me all along, even when I had strayed from him.
How beautiful it is to hear her say her church community did not condemn her while she was still living in sin and was learning and searching for God's grace. That is a testament to Christ-like forbearance and love!

I am so glad I found your channel! I have been a Christian for most of my life and I have strayed from my faith a few times. However, I have always felt convictions very strongly and it is nice to know I am not alone. In today’s world I am finding it harder to find believers who want to grow in their faith and friendship with me. I've been thinking about it, like how it is with people from a great wealth or at least from a higher upper class, who has been living a very nice life, in luxury, travelling around the world, partying at best parties etc. eventually feels that this is not enough and begin to search further and eventually come to know Jesus, going to be further in life. What i think is happening is that Jesus pulls people to himself from all places, even from wealthy upper class, now there are not many who gets saved there but some do and isnt it a good joyful thing that people being saved no matter where they come from? These words what you brought up are the words for worldly people who lives outside of Christ, plus i believe true believers, all have to go through personal trials and tribulations.

I am a new subscriber and I came across a video of your testimony but on another channel where you were interviewed and you spoke about coming out to your parents. I am a parent that has a lot of love for my daughter. I continue to pray for her soul. God bless you.

I'm pretty positive I had my entire community group praying for that miracle for me every day for yearssss before I finally quit myself. It took a lot of discipline and fasting in general to break a lottttt of my habits. God is there with you in your time of need! Praying for an amazing church and community too!! It's always helpful to walk forward with a team and a family rooting for you!
I got pregnant while serving in the Navy in the 80s. There was alot of shame, unlike these days. I remember thinking I wish I could get an abortion but didn't believe in it. Before I knew I was pregnant I couldn't smoke or drink without feeling sick! God was protecting the baby. I am so glad when women come to God and heal them after abortions! Sadly, the women most likely to get abortions today have several kids already and attend church. Churches need to preach against this travesty. It isn't safe for women psychologically and even physically. Scar adhesions, ruining the uterus, and blood lost can result. No such thing as a "safe" abortion!

As someone who came to Christ at 14, I love these radical stories from adults. I think it's a bit different. Adults are a bit more skeptical and hard. A college close friend got roofied on a high school graduation trip. Chose life. My friend is an accountant and the daughter that resulted from the date rape is now a nurse.
