I have a question? How do i know if i got a anthozoa polyp stage ? I have something on my aquarium. But i have no Coral. I only got a live rock and some dead coral thats been dried out.
how long do you leave lights on with them a day I have a 600 w full spectrum light? Also someone else was saying we should plant his foot in the sand for the lta?
8 hours is plenty. plant on sand is more for tube anemones. this ones need a hard surface. well if you have a shallow sand bed they might grab them selfs in the glass, that is a possibility. but its better rock
I need some help. I have a new Green Tip Bubble anemone. My first. It looks great for hours, but then it will pull everything in and looks like it pushes all the water out. Looks deflated. I got scared and moved it to the QT tank. After a few hours it is looking good again. I now have two other anemones in the tank and they seem to be doing good. Please help.
my first thing is always to check all the chemistry . test salinity pH, kH, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, phosphates, calcium, magnesium and temperature. is she attached to the rock or got loose? what size tank you have? light? flow?
@@danielnestorio All is better now. I pulled her out and put into isolation for two weeks. After a week of moving around the tank she has found a spot and is looking good. I found my nitrates we on the high side.
most likely is water chemistry. or chemical warfare by the corals (use carbon that will remove toxins). Go to your local fish store, take a water sample, lets start that way. also temperature check that out. if she is attach to a rock and mouth is closed that is a good sign.
As a father with small children i don’t really have time to keep the tank perfect. My Heteractis magnifica’s keeps getting bigger and multiply too fast. No feeding or special care. Now i see nems as weed in the tank. 😂
Such a helpful video thank you I had him read in enemy as a hitch hike on a load of rock that I just bought off eBay I have no idea what I'm gonna do because I am have a testing kids coral anything literally just live sand and these rocks
