I think that Nexus burst BTA is just absolutely eye-catching! I currently have a Black Widow in my nano system for almost a year now and has been growing relatively fast. Gotta love anemones!
The Nexus Burst is really something else! Especially in person!

I love this video. More about animals please!
Thank you Matthew!!!!! Will do! Any suggestions let me know!
-Blaine
I didn’t know that about foot on the Colorado SB. Well done as always TSA
Tips and tricks for everyone at home!

Saving up to get me a Chicago sunburst anemone ... I love the color & some if the changes it go through
Now’s a great time to do it! Have some great deals on them on the site! I love the two in my desk tank the green streaking in the tentacles is wicked!
-Blaine
@@TopShelfAquatics interested in getting me one too are they hard to keep?
My bubble tip anemone has shriveled up. Its tentacles are super small and shrunken. It was fine for the first few weeks, but recently it moved and just started doing it. I also have a condy anemone and that one moved when the bubble tip got too close. Is there anything I can do to help it?
Just let it be it will come too once water parameters are right where they want it. Also flow rate will cause it but it should go to a place it wants and open up over time. Also can try to spot feed a d see how it reacts.
I wish I didn't already have an anemome. That nexus burst is crazy. I'd buy it in a heartbeat if I had room
There’s always the chance to set up another tank… LOL! It is a stunner I promise!

Nexus bursttttt
So sick! Love getting the chance to showcase them on this video!
-Blaine
Do you have any Colorado and Chicago Sunburst nems mixed with any other nems in the same tank?
Hey Peter! We currently do not have any mixed in the farm facility as I mentioned, but let me ask some of our local customers and see if they’ve got any mixed! I’ll ask around others too and see what Kevin has to say! Thanks for checking this one out!
-Blaine
I would love one but I worry about them walking around and splitting and ending up with a tank full
Understandable! Why you need a clown harem and nem tank in your life! Good seeing you on the channel mate!
-Blaine
I have 1 tank and have RBTA’s that keep on splitting and theyre all good… but why cant my colorado grow and always shrivelled?
Just out of curiosity. I attempted to keep 5 green bubble tip anemones on separate occasions and I’ve checked off every care tip known with all of them dying. 3 local fish stores stated Green BTA allegedly are the worst to keep alive and don’t last. Not sure if this is true because I love the color green and haven’t tried any other color. Is there some kind of truth to this or reason they aren’t in this video?
How much for the nexus I need ! lol
We have a couple WYSIWYG on the site now!!
-Blaine
One thing you forgot that is really important when owning a BTA, or almost any anemone. ALWAYS USE A FILTER SOCK OR PUMP COVER! IF YOU DONT, YOU RUN THE RISK OF IT CLIMBING ON IT AND GETTING SHREDDED. NO BUENO AT ALL I PROMISE. ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE AT WORK AND DON'T CATCH IT IN TIME.
Great point here!
-Blaine
great title ;)
Agreed! Pool of so many smart minds around here at TSA helping make this happen! 😉
-Blaine
After ten years i wont allow them to get bigger than a small fist if you do you run the risk of exploding in the wavemaker, happens about once a year if you have 5 or more, caution these are tank killers, catching it quick with a 50% water change will resolve it but if your not home say goodbye to everything
8:09 🥵
Too hot to handle!
-Blaine
Why pronouncing this like "aneNomy" (like "an enemy") when it is written aneMony ("a Nemo knee") ?
Can someone tell me how does he have 2 clips spinning on that algae holder?
Awesome video as usual, I just dont see how a bta can withstand 300 par, is that the same with aquaculture specimens or just like you said when you get them from the ocean?
We see that our BTA love getting juiced with a bunch of light! Especially our Chicago's and Colorado's!
-Blaine
Love Nems! 🙌👌✌️
Hard not to!
-Blaine
I didn't realize how many didn't kinds there are and they walk.
So many to choose from! Always fun getting the chance to talk about our aquacultured critters!
-Blaine
What causes them to lose their bubbles? Could it be Par or feeding related?
Would be a fun video to focus strictly on this! I heard from my boss that he swears it’s all about flow!
-Blaine
Water parameters and flow
on my way to top shelf 🏃♀️💨
Love that! Always good time to snag some nems!
-Blaine
Sorry for spoiling the party, but normally in the wild ocellaris and perculas aren’t naturally found inside BTAs, rather they are usually found inside Stichodactyla carpets, long tentacle anemones and a few others
i have never fed my btas and only feed light. when i say never I'm not counting the times i was bored
1:44-1:56 shows the Anemone pedal disc and foot, it looks marbled--is that a Colorado Sunburst?
That is a black widow, the marbling you will be looking for on the CSB foot is going to be a pink with a reddish marbling tone to it!
-Blaine
these things are dangerous for a mixed reef right? they move around stinging any coral it comes in contact with possibly killing them, or is that a different type of anemone?
That is these guys. I have two in my mixed reef 20g. I don’t recommend it unless you have the time to get your eye one it every morning and night. Move coral out of its way if it decides to move
Great video! But pronunciation brother, a-nem-o-ne, not a-nen-o-me!
Probably slipped up my pronunciation once on it, but much appreciated! Thanks for tuning in!
-Blaine
🙄🤦♀ @txreef
Prefer calling them, "an enemy". 😅
