They did but then they buffed killers and nerfed survivors hard and they been shaking the meta every few months since then
@@Nzzertral now they just need to tighten that MMR and the game would be really enjoyable
The reason why is because survivors were way way worse than they are now and nobody would do gens and people would not loop they would just try to hide
They just kept nerfing survivors over time like how people requested. Pallet vacuums, double pallet spawns, windows blocks, removal of infinites, instant fast vaults, etc. It survived because it did better than it's competition, and the licenses DEFINITELY helped.
One thing no one noticed with the change in syringes and astringent before his last Nerf. If you use these two addons with a green first aid kit and you had Botanical Knowledge your self heal was 2.0 ch/s this made your syringe take 8 seconds to heal you and if you used it with the astringent the next hit was denied no matter what the killer do. Because if the killer hit you, you hold the hit with the astringent and then the Deep Wound is removed thanks to the syringe, then if the killer decides to wait for the astringent you will heal on his face, and thank God that nobody knew because it would be seen in all games.
I remember that you could use red syringe on yourself when killer was about to down you. If you timed it correctly you could get speed boost and full heal

Its interesting, how there is the possibility of "anti-heal" meta, since the circle of healing and the hearing speed nerfs. Considering the fact the health state aspect of the gameplays were awlays in the survior's favour.

yeah it’s technically the same amount of hits to down a buckle up with for the people combo as a healthy survivor syringing a downed survivor
Technically yeah, and it's not even a one time thing now; the perks can be used multiple times in a single match
I will never understand how BHVR could ever think the original mori offerings were okay.
I like how they initially though that reducing the medkit charges was a good enough trade-off for instantly healing a health state or 2 LMAO
Yeah hahah, I think they did that not necessarily to balance out the effects, but more so to make sure that you couldn't get another heal from the medkit before using the addons

how come no one talks about the killer perks getting nerfed.
I think it's because there just haven't been many overpowered killer perks over the years. Even perks like Ruin and Noed were very strong but definitely not op and Ardetha has already made videos covering those topics; also many of the killer perk nerfs like COB and Eruption were quite recent and there isn't really a point in doing a video on smth that recent; I might make a video on old moris though
The fact that it took them THREE YEARS to change something so ungodly broken baffles me. On that note, I'm grateful BHVR is much less incompetent these days and are actually making pretty great changes consistently. There are exceptions though, such as the god-awful fast vault change in the most recent patch that makes it impossible to hit fast vaulting survivors...
The fast vault was a bug that was there for a few months, you basically would land at the same distance as a medium vault, becoming really easy for high ping killers to get a free hit. Those "new" fast vaults are the same as before Skull Merchant live patch, so you have nothing to be upset regarding this patch. One of their recent questionnable decisions is releasing the chess queen, skull merchant that can stale the game until the servers will shut down.
If I get a fast vault w space I should make it, now if a killer is red ping I get it

@@MihaiDurus ya it wasnt a questionable decision, they didnt just put in the ability to 3 gen, thats been in her kit since the start, with a buff she got, players are the ones who are doing that, stop blaming the developers for what the players do, just like if they add the anti hook camping thing alot of players will abuse that as well
@@vyrizu9713but the players of skull merchant shouldnt be able to prolong games for so long with barely any effort at all. And the only reason it's possible for them to do that is because of the developers that let merchant do that in the first place by allowing it in the game.
And how would survivors abuse it? Just leave the hook bro☠️
Its gonna slow down anyway if survivors a nearby to punish hookswarmers so I don't see it.
