Even though I understand why they removed it from the wraith I think the nurse should still suffer from lightburn, a unique counter to a killer who doesn’t play by the rules anyways. Not like she needs any buffs 😂

I believe nurse still does but it's a lot more difficult, I think you have to use it whoe she has her 2nd blink charged

After 3000 hours the only thing that keeps me coming back to this game is the flashlight and all the things you can do with it, save, cj, blind the killer mid vault etc. If this item wasn’t in the game, I would have probably got bored. Thanks for the video!

1:35 back in the day, the majority of killers ran shadowborn which made you get blinded faster. you were also able to setup the flashlight so that it could blind a killer in under 0.3ms, so it was a viable strategy back then lol
I returned to the game this week and didn't know about flashlight not affecting killers powers anymore. It makes me kinda sad
no wonder killer mains say old DBD was a nightmare

It's really where the survivor rule book meme started from. Cause old dbd while having a lot of broken stuff for both sides, you really had to enjoy killer to play it regularly because the mechanics and balance was super rough and punishing for killers. 😂 So it was very absurd back then when survivors would complain about the smallest thing. The gap between the two have luckily gotten closer with age.

@@strike123456789 I remember when I was maining Jill Valentine, I would use Flashbang and Blast mine to lightburn wraith everytime and it was very satisfying. I one wraith player message me that I was toxic after he kept getting flashbanged and blastmined while cloaked 😂

either buff the bulb or reduce the rarity, I feel. Honestly, a lot of the items in the game need a look at in terms of power and rarity.
As someone who deals with migraines and since rapid lights do trigger them the flash light spam was nice to have removed. The click also idk how to explain but it was weird to hear and I didn’t like it but it wasn’t a YOUR CLICKING AT ME I AM MAD kinda didn’t like but the sound it’s self. I also remember when I first encountered a macro clicker and dc’ed cause I thought they were a hacker 😭
Watching matiu get bullied by those Koreans on that international event live stream was really something else. It single handedly got the flashlights nerfed and hag buffed in a week. 😂
I hope we get a Dune flashlight someday for a crossover.

@@sashko8448 I had an idea to make flashlights flicker every time when spirit is phasing, it wouldn't be that much useful but it would be cool noneless and also lore accurate
as a “nice” killer main i never minded flashlights and blinding clicking was annoying but only on toxic teams. i’d never slug or camp or some crazy stuff over it unless it was a toxic team. most games if the survivors are even just slightly normal i give last hatch just to restore faith in the community.

Epilepsy was just a scapegoat excuse for nerfing the flashlight clicking speed. They really just did it for toxicity purposes.

A lot of people look at old dbd through a killers lens but man old dbd was absolute hell for survivors at times. Im just surprised no one seems to think of it how it is (being that it was hell for literally everyone)
Flashlights were not changed after that livestream. If you actually look into it instead of believing baseless rumors from reddit you would know that flashlights were already talked about being changed before that livestream, and they had a Q&A that included that. If you can't fact check that then I'm not sure I trust anything you say.

they shouldnt of removed the ability to burn the artist crows, super un needed same with wraith lightburn they removed punishing him for using his power so dumb
I think it's good that they removed it for Wraith, though I'm not sure whether it was necessary for the other killers

Absolutely insane to me killers couldn’t handle clicking but, this era of players at least, thinks camping, tunneling, and slugging to avoid hatch is completely fine lmao. The double standards are ridiculous.
Actually clicking.was removed to make the game more accessible to epileptic people if you do.a little bit.of research you would know that as for the slugging claim there are survivor perks to counter it
The other reason it was removed was because of how it affected photosensitive people, along with other flickering lights on other maps. Also, the others are strategies that affect gameplay and not a form of bm, therefore part of common gameplay.
