Tip for rat packs I always use is, put the pack into your Jetburner then add water until it gets near the top, then bring to boil and let boil 1 minute then turn off gas and wait 5 mins, then boil again 1 min and then turn off gas for 5 mins, youll save a load of gas and they still get red hot.
@AndyWardle Well you had a nice little break and Morrisons profits weren't hit too bad! The impressions will be returning soon to the fun tent! Have a good next camp! Cheers Mark!
That Qezer stuff is superb for the price. Been using the same bag this year and have invested in one of those quilts. Clipped myself into the quilt in the bag on a hill in the lakes on Saturday night. Was using OEX Flux 7R mat and was absolutely boiling in just a base layer. I'm confident I could be comfortable in pretty cold weather with this sleep set up.
Yep. It’s time to put the summer bag away. But the quilt is mint. It saved me on my last camp. It was Baltic but the quilt was lovely and warm. I’m seriously impressed
Know what you mean bloody wind drives me crazy..an ur right don't need loads of beer...when u can have WHASKEY...😅 lookin forward to ur camp with blot .round 2 🤪 oh an the quazer bag an my flextail pillow is spot on 4 me 😊.
😂 too much wind this year. Looking back it’s almost every camp. Hopefully get a break soon. My next video is even wilder weather wise. It’s mad. Yeah round 2 hopefully coming soon. We need to sort it. Flextail gear is proving to be great as is the qezer stuff. 👍
👍😁👍 Very impressed with the tent in that gusty wind Andy. Fared better than my X-Mid.. My Firemaple belive it or not has been lost in the Royal Mails system. 2 weeks now since they contacted me saying it was due for delivery, but somehow it got lost in transit. They are currently trying everything to find it , as it wasn't delivered and they will contact me on Thursday with good or bad news.. As for the tent, really impressive, good how the top pole flexes and quickly regains it's original shape. Fabrics and materials look solid enough ie the stitchens, mesh , floor and seamsealed 👍 good height on the bathtub to.. Plenty of room for me and my gear and really looking forward to finally getting mine... Two way zippers would be better and chaning the guylines. But other than that, it looks great and ide use it during winter 👍😁 if push come to a shove, the top pole could be strengthened with my walking poles if it was really bad 40 + mph ... But then again, ide rather not be out in that if forecast 😁 great video, cracking tent at the price and we'll done Firemaple 😁👍 just wish mine was here..
Nightmare hopefully it’ll turn up. On my last trip it rained like I’ve never seen before. 3 hours battering the side and the opposite door. It let water in through the zip cover and zip. But hardly any. Unbelievable. I’m planning to seam seal both zips that will make it even better. It was awesome. More wind too. 👍
@AndyWardle 😁 hi Andy.. spoke to royal mail and they have found it at another sorting office. Fetching it to my local sorting office overnight fir ne to collect in the morning 😁👍 I'm just about to check the weather forecasts for this weekend and get out to try it myself 😁 good point about the zips, I have tubes of seam sealant just incase. But by what I've seen on your videos it's excellant for the price and weight etc 👍 roll on the weekend 😁
Great video off this week got some nice walks nothing like this though. Sadly not getting to my beloved Northumberland until Easter 😢. Grateful for videos you and Emma do get to see those beautiful views 😊.
👍🏻🙌🏻 Cheers to Lady McWardle. Try some Pepperidge Farm, Milano Orange Cookies 🍪😆 AND for when you’ve got the nip/chill going through ya! Grand Marnier Liqueur Orange Cognac! 🍊 Just beautiful 🥃!
Stopped alcohol when it was legal for me at 21 at the time here in NZ think it's 18 now, there was no fun when I got to the legal age. 50 years now. Was a good video but lost count how many times you mentioned the wind bro. Great light/pump thing too. Safe travels. Ken.
Miiiiint, send me a link for the gloves and pillow. If you have one,I'm keen to get some waterproof troosas, looking at Mt equipment saltoros, any recommendations sir??
I’m looking at them too. I’ve seen Rab latok. Very money though. Links for gloves in the video at red tarn. Flextail pillow on website. Code is Andy10 Boosh
@AndyWardle aye latok=alot , mind fir the use you would get, well worth it, I will look fir the red tarn vid now, I just bought a roof tent to use to start van camps, seems canny, OEX vertex
Two AF recommendations Andy - Lucky Saint and UNLTD both do lager and IPA versions and both taste good.
I’m all for af beer now like. 👍

Aye I need to cut back. I’m not missing it to be fair. Might partake of a couple the next camp though. Just a couple. 👍

Cracking week ahead here I think. So I’m hoping to get out and about. Easter will come fast. This year has flown over.

Grand Marnier Liqueur Orange Cognac! 🍊
Just beautiful 🥃!
Sounds delightful. I’ll look into this 😂
Love hiking in Lakes, go as often as possible. However constant strong winds will always result in me giving up a walk. The weather I hate the most.
I’m ok with wind if I’m hiking. It’s the camping I don’t like it. Too disruptive.

It was windy like 😂😂 yeah I’m not giving up the ale just cutting back. Done me good. I’ve not lost weight though 😂😂.
👋🏼
👌
hahaha love the total recall impression 🤣🤣
😂 get to the choppa. 🤨
Great video mate 👍🏻 I’ve got ‘faith’ in you staying off the alcohol 🤦🏻♂️
Oof. I’m still off it like. 👍
Hi Andy, the tent seemed to cope with that pretty well👍Atb
It’s better than I thought. Found a weak point on the next camp. Easy to fettle though. I’m really liking it. 👍
Guinness is the best alcohol free beer by a mile. I’ve tried most of them 😂
It really is. I was amazed. It’s the future.
Great video mate. Why you're some Mick Hucknall 😂
😂 simply bred
Melvin will have a few blue notes out there.
😂 poor Harold 😂
That sleeping pad ooked like it was going to eat you. Lol
😂 aye it came from nowhere 😂😂
Like a wizards sleeve
😂 a waterproof and stable sleeve 👍 🧙♀️
That threaded adapter looks like you’d screw a needle in to pump a football up.
@@Howling-Mad-Murdock it’s for a boat pump adapter allegedly. But I see what ya mean.
@ makes sense, be a bit bloody lazy doing a footy with it 😂
Im impressed with the alcohol freeze Andy, have you noticed any health benefits?
I definitely feel better. I’m back on it now but cutting right back. I took 2 cans last night. Brought 1 back. 👌
@AndyWardle way to go mate, but you lugging eight cans up a mountain was legendary!
@@PhilWaud 😂
Great stuff Andy budds .. Whys you off the ale ?
Cheers. Just fancied some time off. I’m still off it now. 👍 🍺
@AndyWardle Ah OK Great 👍
😀👍

Hurricanes forecasted. Yep, back out again 🤣👍
Constant. I’m just not looking at the forecast anymore. Just go 😂

I know the forecast without looking. Sunny when i’m at graft and sh*te when i’m camping without fail 😁
@@jakesy2569 sounds about right
Disgusting boy, leave your nose alone! 😂😂😂. Great video as always!
Ha. I annoy myself. Always sniffing. Hay fever I reckon. Cheers for putting up with me. 😂😂
Ear plugs..
Always forgetting them. Must be old age 😂
