It’s sad to know there was that possibility, that it wasn’t natural causes or illness. May he Rest In Peace. It does remind me of what Robin Williams said, “I think the saddest people always try their hardest to make people happy because they know what it's like to feel absolutely worthless and the don't want anyone else to feel like that.”

@@Killenmachine05 I know. I was basically opening it up and as it was going. Part of me wished it wasn’t the loss of a person due to suicide. But ultimately the age isn’t always an indicator. It’s still sad and much like the Robin Williams quote. It seemed he tried hard to make others happy. Even in a way. Another quote only from Heath Ledger, “everyone ask if you have a nice house or a nice car. No one ever ask if you’re happy.”

Same here brother/sister. If someone who is so beloved by literally everyone who knew him can do this, it really makes it hard to continue on . I hope you can find a reason to continue on and I hope the same for me. There is somebody that loves you and I don’t want them to feel like how we feel for Trevor , if nothing else

Hey, listen, seriously, I'm not going to put out any flowery things about how great the world is, because it isn't. I will say though that there is a lot to like, and we need to focus on that. The thoughts you have that are negative you need to fight, and it will be something that's a lifelong fight. It is a winnable fight though, especially if you get some help and get on the right medications. It will make a HUGE difference, but the problem is WANTING to get better, because when you're really depressed you don't care about getting better. It's up to you man, you have to WANT to get better and then do what needs to be done, ok? I'm REALLY hopeful for you, send me an email if you want to talk.

And just about 45 days later he’s gone 😔 if it was what the band kind of hinted at with the number, I’m glad he was able to deliver me such a huge positive message despite him going through whatever he may have been going through. My all time favorite band far and wide. No other band touched me as much as BDM did. I was a super fan. Went to every show and got to meet Trevor twice in my life. Begged him to take me on tour when they were still in the van. That DC show at the 930 club was my first BDM show, ended up missing the last train and my mom had to pick me up but it was 100 percent worth it. Then I drove all the way to West Virginia in the snow by myself just to see them play. This one hurts really bad because I always see them whenever they’re in town no matter what and was hopeful to see them after the pandemic ended. I’m really crushed by this one but I’m so grateful the memories. RIP Trevor. 💔❤️‍🩹

One thing I've learned after working many years with mental health (and suffering from GAD myself), is that very few people want to die, not even the ones that commit suicide. They just don't want to be in pain anymore. If they knew another way out they wouldn't kill themselves.
Please, if you're reading this, and have mental health issues, don't be silent and isolated about it. Seek help, comfort, support from others! Things can indeed get better! And there is more care and compassion out there than your illness might tell you! (Depressive people often get stuck in a narrative that no one cares, but that is not true!)
Rest in Peace, Trevor! I will now blast some Black Dahlia Murder to honour your contribution to music!

Still can’t believe it. This one is the most painful of all. At one point my biggest goal was just to play a show with them. Got to in 2019 in Vegas. RIP Trevor ❤️❤️❤️😢

My first metal show ever he reached his hand out to me and pulled me up on stage and then I went crowd surfing... This breaks my heart R.I.P

Absolute legend, what a loss for the metal community and the world, I’ve seen these guys multiple times and have had the extreme honor and privilege to shake the hand of this amazing man and talk to him, Trevor had a way of making the most corrupt and vile things sound so beautiful with his writing and vocals, I gained a lot from him being a writer myself, rest in power legend , I can honestly say you were one of the best human beings I’ve ever met and I hope you’ve found peace wherever you are, such a great loss, my heart is broken. Thoughts to his friends, family, band mates and all who cherished him.

R.I.P. bro you always put on a good show and inspired us so much so we've decided to place a moment of silence for all these great musicians that just died too early in our first song for our first album.

Wow, this one hurt. Not many bands can say they earned the respect and admiration of the old guard in Europe. Seems like Trevor did just that and more! That clip of him with LG Petrov, man. RIP Trevor

Jesus. 2022 isn't going any easier on us than the last couple of years. Sending all the love to his friends and family.

i honestly think BDM is one of the great bands of my 33 year life. I have so much respect for every aspect, from originality to consistency to just the number of great songs and albums they had. Trevor was an amazing vocalist, whose voice went so well with the music. I am truly devastated by this, rest in peace trevor.
