I realize that there is a certain "troll" that is always hanging out in these teen mom forums that spews hate non stop..However I just want to say that I believe her mom was the major cause for Caelan and McKayla's break up..Because she hates Caelan's mother and would not stop until she finally put a wedge between them..Which is actually sad because Caelan's mom was there for her all through high school when her mom was MIA..I feel like McKayla's needs therapy to deal with her past, and to learn better coping skills..I know she has been on meds for depression.. I hope for her, and her children's well being that the right dosage will finally help her become the best mom that she can possibly be until she hopefully will no longer need it..
@Quinn If Mackayla was on her own, and wanted to live with her mother in order to work through her feelings, there would be NO ISSUE. But, Mackayla's life is NO LONGER HER OWN. She now has a DUTY to put the WELL BEING AND WELFARE of her child before her own desires. Her room at her grand/real parent's house, where she receives the greatest level of SUPPORT and STABILITY (both crucial to her child's welfare), is far below an acceptable level of cleanliness required to be safe for the child. It's a chaotic environment, where, for example, she couldn't even tell if choking hazards were present, there aren't crawling spaces, etc...ad nauseam. If she is negligent to such a degree when she is receiving that degree of help, it's frightening to consider what the child will endure when she is chasing after a relationship with her mom, trying to please HER, in order to be wanted and liked. And yes, we understand it's painful. We understand that even though her grandparents are her real parents, nothing can replace that connection between biological parent and child. And, if you can, it is a relationship you should work on. It is something she can do. But given her situation, she should do it by visiting with her mom as often as possible - not endangering her child's welfare by joining up their mutually highly volatile circumstances. Last, as she, you and all of us mature, even those of us raised by our biological parents, we find we're blessed if we learn that we must parent ourselves, where our bio parents were unable and/or unwilling to do the job - further that their failings as parents do not reflect upon us. The only thing that reflects upon us, is how we choose to respond to those failings. Mackayla is making irresponsible choices that harm HER child - that's why people object to her actions. Mackayla simply needs to realize that she must protect her child, and get to know her mom more slowly and less intensely than she'd like, in order to do what's right for her child

I think the point of this whole thing was that he doesn't help much for anything, not just the packing. The way he talked to her was disgusting and borderline abusive. I was a parent at 17. My dada wasn’t happy about it, but stepped up and became an amazing grandfather, role model, and teacher to my child. He was more of a dad to my child than her absentee father is.
On December 26/17, when my kiddo was aged 18.5 years of age, my dad, her poppa, died suddenly.

mommy of 3 girls, Probably the same thing she does with her son, pawn him off on family 7 days a week. According to what has been said quite a few times, GMA/GPA take Timmy every weekend(when she isn't living with them), Caelan's mom Shelly takes him 2-3 days a week, McKayla's Mom Shannon has him 2 days per week, so she really doesn't take care of Timmy except put him to bed, and I doubt that this pattern will change just because she's having a little girl this time. She claims on video that she's going to breastfeed, but she stopped breastfeeding Timmy before he was 2 weeks old because she had a lot of issues (claims she fell asleep nursing him, and a host of other issues). There have been a few people who exclusively breastfed their babies give her tips/pointers, but she wasn't interested enough to thanks those who gave her some awesome ideas.

She made this video where she was crying and saying she couldn't go to college and ppl weren't going to know for a long, long time about some things that happened, etc. I know someone that lives in that same apartment building McKayla & Caelan live in. McKayla & Caelan were asked to move-out because so many of the neighbors complained about all their fighting, etc.

Aside from being a drunk I think the grandfather is very inappropriate Mckayla. That's way she behave they way she do. The grandparents are trying to coverup some inappropriate behavior by spoiling Mckayla and giving her what she wants so she won't tell. Why else would they raise a fool...twice?
