I had a boyfriend EXACTLY like Diego back in high school. He was extremely distant and childish, and just all around aloof and inconsiderate. And the BIGGEST mama’s boy ever. His mom didn’t give a single shit about me. She thought I was “trying to take her baby away”. She would never say hello to me, or even acknowledge me whenever I was over at their house. When he dumped me (honestly a huge blessing in disguise), it was a relief. His two excuses were he was tired of “being with just one person and wanted to explore and experiment” and “because my mom doesn’t like you, I’m choosing her over you because you’re replaceable” which to an extent makes sense, but is worded horribly. It’s been 10 years since then and those actions and words still hurt when I think about them. Ah well, you live and learn! And things could’ve been a lot worse! Haha well anyways, I wonder where Emiley and Diego are today?

MJBABYPHAT Diego all he cares about is himself don’t bother me when I’m playing sports or I’ll blow a fuse he needs to realize that behavior is unacceptable! It’s ok to have guy time but Diego needs to learn if he’ll ever learn is that baby girl comes first he needs to put that child little girl before his friends! He’s like friends first baby not on my list of priorities at all! At 17 he’s acting like an 9 year who didn’t get his way! I’ve seen teenage boys younger than him who are more mature than him and more respectful! If he can’t act his age what makes you think he can take care of a baby! He didn’t show gratitude at the baby shower especially for the diapers! I’d be pretty darn grateful for the diapers if I was him!
He just isn’t ready for a baby and I’m not excusing his behaviour because frankly it’s horrible but it’s like he’s agitated and anything that reminds him “my life is over” I’m sure gets him annoyed. Unfortunately he also should have thought about that during sex... I hope her family can stick close and help raise that baby because he’s too young right now..

I’m 17 and I have a baby on the way with my girlfriend and I make sure that I set an amazing example by always being there and taking care of her no matter how young I am so this guy needs to buck up

GTR Nick...it sounds like you seem to know that you should take care of your GF etc. PLZ make sure that you continue to support her after the baby is born. So many young men leave the teen mom to raise the baby on their own. Having a baby at a young age is pretty difficult. It's okay to tell someone you are having problems dealing with the baby etc. It's much better to admit if you are having issues than to do something horrible. In the state I live in, within the last 2-3 yrs several teen dads have been sent to prison for murdering their babies. It's not a sign of weakness to admit you didn't know that raising a baby isn't easy much of the time. Good luck.

Her mom doesn’t understand how important it is to have TWO parents in the household. The fact that her mom is just like “leave leave leave” but her daughter knows how much she craved having her father at home and she wants her child to have the same. No wonder she raised a daughter who turned out to be a teen mom. These are trends.
