My daith did this like 3 days after it was pierced. It lasted 3 days no pus or burning just pain and swelling and I had to go to the piercer she said it was fine phew.
i got my second lobe piercings and a cartridge last sunday and they all seemed to heal fine for the first like week but now one of my second lobe piercings is bugging me, i can’t tell if it’s swollen and it’s not red but i hurts to the touch and hurts to clean so i searched this up lol i don’t think it’s infected anymore but i’m gonna keep an eye on it

I’ve had my nose piercing for 6 months and got a hypertrophic bump after the first month 😭. I call it a nesting bump because it dries out and flakes off then right under it another one forms and begins the cycle all over again ughhhhhh. Make it stop
ErikaCS13 i crush non iodized sea salt and put a little bit of saline solution to make a paste and i put it over night. Disappeared in 3-4 days. Just be careful after it disappears bc if you irritate it even a little bit the bump comes back. I’m on my 3rd cycle doing this process and i regret touching my ring bc it was already bump free for a week and a half :(
I got my ears pierced like 1 month ago but it still have a bump inside it’s a bit red ish but it doesn’t hurt or itch so is it normal? It hurst a little bit when I push the back but it doesn’t when I push the front, The bumb is there for like 3 days now

There was one time I was bitten by a bug (we don't know which bug) and I noticed the redness spreading. I let my hubby know, as well as my dad, because the person closest to me that could take me to the er the next day would be him. Well... it was definitely infected. Not only did it spread, but red tendrils began going down my wrist and up some of my arm. That is a HUGE sign to seek help. My dad and I didn't go to the ER, just an instacare where they prescribed me antibiotics for a week. It disappeared in half a week. Basically, what I'm getting at is exactly what she said. If there is a spread, a good idea is to use a pen to mark where the redness stops and check back every hour to see if the red has gone past the pen marks, or if the marks are spreading (which is easier to see if you draw a circle, as it'll warp the circle). It's also always good to know where your insta and urgent cares are, as it is a much cheaper way to receive much needed help and prevents the ER from getting booked.
I’m not sure if mine is infected or not... I did it about 4 days ago, everything was perfect.. it did hurt a little but to me that’s just the healing process. Then yesterday, my sister hit me in the ear really hard and made it bleed and That’s when it started getting super red, swollen and super tender. I’ve iced it. I’m just not sure if it’s infected or if it’s just because right got hit..
I pierced my lobes about 2 years ago, they healed good but they've never felt like fully healed? If that makes sense, when I switch earrings they hurt and I have a bump behind them, and I don't know if it's a keloid it hasn't grown in size but it doesn't go away, right know it's crusty in the back but it doesn't have gross discharge, what do I do?

I got an earlobe infection when I put clicker earrings in and it started tearing the hole. I’ve had these holes done for 15 years or more. And I had to loosen it. Hoping it will heal. I’m on antibiotics and ibuprofen. Jewelry was just put on last week but holy shit I’ve never had pain like this from any piercings and I’ve had plenty. So for it to be on my lobes from hugger clickers it’s strange that it was tearing my hole!

Joanne Bentley Good Luck. I used saline nasal spray - no touch with the Daith. Liquid Dial Antibacterial hand soap to clean when I showered. Had no problems . When it gets well use the cute Septum piercing jewelry for that piercing. Sooo Cute!

The hard ball is I think the dead skin cells or smth but it's coz of the trauma your lobe experience while getting it pierced and it happens mostly when getting pierced with a gun
I have my 5th lobe piercing. It developed a bump on the back of it that keeps filling up and popping. Infection? About a week ago, I noticed it developing a bump on the front, and I freaked out because ain’t nobody got time for that ugliness. My piercer keeps saying sea salt soaks, but I did those a hundred times and they didn’t help.
My wife did my Helix (she's a tattoo artist and piercing apprentice) 2 says ago. My ear is red as hell and hurts bad. I have NO DISGHARGE and I clean it a lot. I'm really not sure if it's just angry.
So about 3 weeks ago I got my septum pierced. Nothing hurts anymore. But my piercing is extremely swollen and has very mild white/yellow pus. So I went to the doctors because it wasn't getting any better. He prescribed me antibiotics. I am now 1/2 ways through my dosage and it looks the exact same.

Im not really sure if this is a part of my healing process or if it’s a small infection, but the skin on the front part around my ear piercing is a little bit yellow and red and crusty. But that’s only on one ear, and now I think the same thing is happening to the other ear. I think their just healing, but I’m not 100% sure 😅 can someone help

I’ve had my piercing for a day and it’s red and a bit swollen. I’m scared the skin is going to grow over the stud overnight (it’s my second on my lobe)
Also I realised there was no room for swelling so I’ve had to change it (keep in mind it’s been about a day) to a bigger earring so it has room, will that help or make it worse (I sanitised it before)
I got my cartilage pierced with a needle a week ago and I keep on bumping it and I wash it once a day now it’s like when I clean it yellow discharge with a bit of red on it is coming out and it started yesterday so it’s swollen, red, and stuff is coming out either that it’s fine I can move the jewellery
If there’s yellow discharge and you’ve been bumping it, that might be a sign of infection or it’s getting really irritated. My previous cartilage piercing infection start out like yours. I didn’t know about the infection and had to get it drain out later on when it got so worse and eventually go to urgent care for it. You should start using tea trea oil now. Use like 1-2 drops on a wet cotton bud and let it stay there for 10-20 mins like how long she leaves her solution in. And clean it with saline solution 2-3 times now. Be extra careful and try not to get it caught into things. If it doesn’t get better in a week or so definitely go to urgent care before it spreads so you don’t have to take out the piercing later on. I had to remove mine because it was so bad.
Ok but my earlobe piercing is like idk, has some discharge? Like it's a little yellow and smtimes a little green (but I get green on my old piercing that I got at 5 if I dont remove the earring for a rlly long time) and I think theres some scab. Is that rlly REALLY infection?

Mandee XD Piercing bumps can form for a variety of reasons, poor care being one (but not the only). Since cartilage piercings can take up to a year to heal, bumps can form early on or even after several months. Keep up with the cleaning, it can take a long time for bumps to go away completely.
bumps don't always mean infection! I've had my double helix for about 4 months, and i clean them pretty well by soaking it in warm salt water twice a day (sometimes once a day if I'm feeling lazy). everything was going great until I visted my family members who constantly bumped it and touched it, so my ear got angry and bumps grew a few days later, and had a whitish discharge accompanying. I continued to do the soaking my ear in warm salt water for 10 mins twice a day and the bumps are gone but it took about a week or two of consistently soaking twice a day.
I've had my daith pierced for over a year now finally it's full healed I had piercings bumps on mine for almost nine months look horrible but they went away with tea tree oil finally
During this quarantine!, I've got an anti brow piercing that has been red and somewhat irritated for about a good 3 months. I know I'm stupid. And the piercer told me to keep it in and clean it. If I were to take it out by myself at this point, because of quarantine, is that okay? And should the soaking before help the "crust" enough to be able to slide it out?
I’ve had my nose pierced for 5 months now and it’s tender if I rub the opposite nostril and the pierced one moves it hurts. I don’t have those symptoms just a little bit of white fluid and some crust but it’s tender. Is that okay during the 5th month?

I’ve had my double helix and flat cartilage piercings for 9 days, and they are bright red, swollen around stud, and oozing clear pus. I called my piercer and can’t get in for 2 days! I’m in so much pain! My Daith and Tragus in both ears done 6 weeks ago had no problems . I can’t believe how much trouble this double helix is. I’ve only used the Neilmed after piercing care mist, and done everything correct. I have a travel pillow, so I don’t sleep on them. So not sure why this is happening. I have a feeling if he would have just done the hoops, instead of studs, this wouldn’t be happening. There’s no room for the swelling. I asked if he left plenty of room for swelling and he said yes, then this happens. I just hope I’m ok with this situation for a couple more days. I think a piercer should squeeze you in for an emergency like this. Not make you wait 2 days.

I got my first lobe piercing (the ones usually babies get) in the end of June, and it's now November. My left ear is constantly producing pus and sometimes bleeds and isn't really moving much. My right ear (I believe is totally fine but I wouldn't know) can be pushed and prodded, it's very mobile, whereas my left barely is. For the first couple months, I did clean them every day and then in the last two months I've cleaned them like twice a month. I haven't changed out my earrings at all, even though I have attempted to change them three times. Is my left ear infected?
I got a triple love piercing and I put in cheap time and true earrings and a week after it was still swollen and angry.and I cleaned it with tea tree oil 2 times a day it helped my nose piercing but it didn't work for this one. So a couple days ago I put in a good plated stud I got pierced with at walmart(it was my first piercing I was 13 I didn't know) it never got infected. So I changed one of the triple lives out (because I lost the other one) and it isn't angry tender and pusy. But the other one with the cheap price of poo is tender red and irritated. I'm gonna wait a week to switch it to the gold plated just to make sure it is fully healed. The triple love piercings are 5 weeks and 2 days old. I'm still a noob on piercings even tho I have 8 now and I'm learning as time goes on. all my piercings was from a time span of the ages 13 to 15. wish me luck and have a wonderful day!

My daiths are irritated and swollen ive had them for a month, they have a large amount of crust i have to keep removing and occasionally puss comes out. I was using eye wash solution due to my sensitive skin and when it got infected I used achiole wipes and an ointment. I have a doctors appointment in two days not sure what to do between now and then
I got my piercing (second lobe) on the 24 of dec and it’s Jan 2 and I switched my earrings hahaha 😅 to a clear replacement holder thingy and it’s so fricken sore maybe an infection or maybe it’s because I just switched it and had to force through the pain 😂😭 lol
@@gliif My piercing ended up being okay! Just make sure I touched it with clean hands and cleaned my jewelry. The clear replacement wasn’t a clear earring it was like an outer casing for the earring to go inside (from Claire’s) and the stem was too short with the backing so I bought actual clear earrings from Walmart and it worked fine! Stinged a little going it (bc the end was pointy) but it worked great!
@@gliif I think if it’s infected you should clean your ear and maybe do a flush (?) (I think it’s the salt water mixture not too sure) you could try a cold compress. If it gets worse see a doctor before it turns to a keloid
@@malarieenriquez thanks, but here's an update. my younger brother bumped his head on my ear where the piercing is and it bled a lot. I thought I could save it but I can't. My mom took it off, and it's fine now. Any suggestions about the scar tho? It left a dark patch. And also, can I repierce maybe after a year or so?
@@gliif I think he can repierce it later it will leave scar tissue so it might be a bit tender while piercing so it could be a little more sore to get it pierced. for dark spots I recommend to try using tea tree oil twice a day you could also use bio oil for scarring it’s from target

I had my cartilage piercing for 7 years and it would not heal and every time I would go to change it to see if a different pice of jewelry would help it hurt like hell to take it out and put back in!! So I was tired of it hurting all the time so I just retired it, but I got my conch pierced 1 year agao and that heald just fine with no problems I find that really odd!
It’s bizarre how certain piercings just won’t take to the body, but can be in similar areas to those that are perfectly fine. My double helix has one piercing that’s perfectly fine, but the other still has a tiny bump on it.

I got my cartage done last Wednesday and it just today started to be red and i had a little bit of pain but nothing else so I clean it 2 to 3 times a day with rubbing alcohol like the piercer said and I also got it done with the gun
Deanna Johnson DONT CLEAN WITH RUBBING ALCOHOL think about an open wound. when you put alcohol on it it closes so imagine what happens when you do that to your fresh piercing with a whole earring in it

Hi, I need some advice from anyone :(( I got my double piercings done 4 days ago, the first two days it went perfectly fine until the third day, the left one was so itchy that I tried to change the earring (big mistake), the other one wouldn't go in, so I put the other one back, it obviously went really swollen and red. Today it was "better", everytime I clean them, they get swollen and red, I just turn them slightly to clean them, they've been itchy but I don't touch them. I haven't experienced any discharge or fever, no t even burning. I'm concerned about them because they were perfectly fine until yesterday, I've been cleaning them with salt and water...I guess they're doing better, please help...is it an infection? :((
So I just got my piercing like 2 and a half days ago I got my second one on my ear lobe and I got my cardaliges done on both ears i me and my friend cleaned earnings and put a different one in both ears beacause the horse shoes looked bad so we did that it looked ok but then the next day I took my shirt of and my left one fell out and I could not find it so i quickly grabbed another one and I didn't clean it because I dint want my piercing to close but the back of the peircing hole did so I re peirced and it hurt and then it was red and swollen i hoped it was getting better but then I was cleaning it just now and I take the back off to clean it cause its easier to clean that way and then it fell out again and I had to push it thru again and it hurt more this time and now its swollen again and hurts a little so is it an infection or is it just like that cause I had to re peirce it? The piercing is swollen and red a bit in the 1st day but in the 2nd day it heal ithink cuz the swollen and redness is gone. Now the 3rd day my left ear has swollen and has redness in it and last night it so itchy. Now its the 3rd day my left ear is swollen and red cuz i accidentally take the earring out and when i put it back it starts to itch and swollen and red. Pls tell me, is it infected? I got my ear pierced for like 2 years from now, but I removed my piercings recently because they just won't heal. It keeps on having crust and pus-like discharge. Should I just leave the hole to close up and heal on their own?
Anyone have any advice? I had a helix piercing done over two years ago and had problems with it from the start, swollen, red, painful, and got a fair sized keloid or hypertrophic scar (not sure which) formed over it. I soaked it and cleaned it religiously, nothing helped. Eventually the swelling went away but still had the keloid. Throughout two years it would sometimes be okay but I would have flare ups where it would be red and painful again. I eventually decided I would take it out since I didn’t want to have to deal with it for the rest of my life. I waited till it was at a time where it wasn’t irritated and cleaned it twice a day as it was healing. It looks better - the keloid has sorta gone away but the back of the piercing now has a bump and I am worried it is filled with pus and will get or already is infected. What should I do?
I actually have a helix piercing (the first one I got back in 2016 that started my love of piercings) that wasn’t 100% healed until roughly 2.5 years after I got it. I almost took mine out, but after I actually stopped caring for it like I had been, it cleared up! Was definitely an anomaly, since I would normally never recommend stopping care.

There was one time I was bitten by a bug (we don't know which bug) and I noticed the redness spreading. I let my hubby know, as well as my dad, because the person closest to me that could take me to the er the next day would be him. Well... it was definitely infected. Not only did it spread, but red tendrils began going down my wrist and up some of my arm. That is a HUGE sign to seek help. My dad and I didn't go to the ER, just an instacare where they prescribed me antibiotics for a week. It disappeared in half a week. Basically, what I'm getting at is exactly what she said. If there is a spread, a good idea is to use a pen to mark where the redness stops and check back every hour to see if the red has gone past the pen marks, or if the marks are spreading (which is easier to see if you draw a circle, as it'll warp the circle). It's also always good to know where your insta and urgent cares are, as it is a much cheaper way to receive much needed help and prevents the ER from getting booked.
I’m not sure if mine is infected or not... I did it about 4 days ago, everything was perfect.. it did hurt a little but to me that’s just the healing process. Then yesterday, my sister hit me in the ear really hard and made it bleed and That’s when it started getting super red, swollen and super tender. I’ve iced it. I’m just not sure if it’s infected or if it’s just because right got hit..
I pierced my lobes about 2 years ago, they healed good but they've never felt like fully healed? If that makes sense, when I switch earrings they hurt and I have a bump behind them, and I don't know if it's a keloid it hasn't grown in size but it doesn't go away, right know it's crusty in the back but it doesn't have gross discharge, what do I do?
me too ive gotten a lobe piercing about a month ago and everytime i change them it hurts, but there isn’t any bumps or discharge or redness, just pain i don’t know what i should do either

I got an earlobe infection when I put clicker earrings in and it started tearing the hole. I’ve had these holes done for 15 years or more. And I had to loosen it. Hoping it will heal. I’m on antibiotics and ibuprofen. Jewelry was just put on last week but holy shit I’ve never had pain like this from any piercings and I’ve had plenty. So for it to be on my lobes from hugger clickers it’s strange that it was tearing my hole!
The only thing I have is the bottom of my earlobe is swollen

Joanne Bentley Good Luck. I used saline nasal spray - no touch with the Daith. Liquid Dial Antibacterial hand soap to clean when I showered. Had no problems . When it gets well use the cute Septum piercing jewelry for that piercing. Sooo Cute!

What if I’ve had my earlobes pierced months ago and it’s not fully healed and a bit hard around where I got pierced.
The hard ball is I think the dead skin cells or smth but it's coz of the trauma your lobe experience while getting it pierced and it happens mostly when getting pierced with a gun

I have my 5th lobe piercing. It developed a bump on the back of it that keeps filling up and popping. Infection? About a week ago, I noticed it developing a bump on the front, and I freaked out because ain’t nobody got time for that ugliness. My piercer keeps saying sea salt soaks, but I did those a hundred times and they didn’t help.
Listen to your piercer - it has taken me several months of constant care to clear up bumps before. Unfortunately, they don’t go away super fast.

My wife did my Helix (she's a tattoo artist and piercing apprentice) 2 says ago. My ear is red as hell and hurts bad. I have NO DISGHARGE and I clean it a lot. I'm really not sure if it's just angry.

So about 3 weeks ago I got my septum pierced. Nothing hurts anymore. But my piercing is extremely swollen and has very mild white/yellow pus. So I went to the doctors because it wasn't getting any better. He prescribed me antibiotics. I am now 1/2 ways through my dosage and it looks the exact same.

I have white stuff coming out of my ear, sometimes it’s clear. It’s not oozing but I’m not sure if it’s pus. I can move the jewelry and I get crusties sometimes. It isn’t red or swollen, but I’m not sure. It’s a helix piercing btw

Im not really sure if this is a part of my healing process or if it’s a small infection, but the skin on the front part around my ear piercing is a little bit yellow and red and crusty. But that’s only on one ear, and now I think the same thing is happening to the other ear. I think their just healing, but I’m not 100% sure 😅 can someone help

I’ve had my piercing for a day and it’s red and a bit swollen. I’m scared the skin is going to grow over the stud overnight (it’s my second on my lobe)
Also I realised there was no room for swelling so I’ve had to change it (keep in mind it’s been about a day) to a bigger earring so it has room, will that help or make it worse (I sanitised it before)

What shall I do
If there’s yellow discharge and you’ve been bumping it, that might be a sign of infection or it’s getting really irritated. My previous cartilage piercing infection start out like yours. I didn’t know about the infection and had to get it drain out later on when it got so worse and eventually go to urgent care for it. You should start using tea trea oil now. Use like 1-2 drops on a wet cotton bud and let it stay there for 10-20 mins like how long she leaves her solution in. And clean it with saline solution 2-3 times now. Be extra careful and try not to get it caught into things. If it doesn’t get better in a week or so definitely go to urgent care before it spreads so you don’t have to take out the piercing later on. I had to remove mine because it was so bad.
Ok but my earlobe piercing is like idk, has some discharge? Like it's a little yellow and smtimes a little green (but I get green on my old piercing that I got at 5 if I dont remove the earring for a rlly long time) and I think theres some scab. Is that rlly REALLY infection?

I got my nose piercing last friday (august 16 2019) i look inside my nostril and see yellow around the piercing site, can it just be healing or is it a sign of it being infected? I know you aren’t a professional but what can it be? I dont have any bump at all but its just on the inside

Mandee XD Piercing bumps can form for a variety of reasons, poor care being one (but not the only). Since cartilage piercings can take up to a year to heal, bumps can form early on or even after several months. Keep up with the cleaning, it can take a long time for bumps to go away completely.
bumps don't always mean infection! I've had my double helix for about 4 months, and i clean them pretty well by soaking it in warm salt water twice a day (sometimes once a day if I'm feeling lazy). everything was going great until I visted my family members who constantly bumped it and touched it, so my ear got angry and bumps grew a few days later, and had a whitish discharge accompanying. I continued to do the soaking my ear in warm salt water for 10 mins twice a day and the bumps are gone but it took about a week or two of consistently soaking twice a day.

During this quarantine!, I've got an anti brow piercing that has been red and somewhat irritated for about a good 3 months. I know I'm stupid. And the piercer told me to keep it in and clean it. If I were to take it out by myself at this point, because of quarantine, is that okay? And should the soaking before help the "crust" enough to be able to slide it out?

i have a decently sized bump on the back side of my ear by my 5 week old 2nd piercing is that an infection (i personally didn’t use the cleaning stuff as much as u should’ve so that’s entirely my fault lol) but should i get it checked out or just keep cleaning it

I’ve had my double helix and flat cartilage piercings for 9 days, and they are bright red, swollen around stud, and oozing clear pus. I called my piercer and can’t get in for 2 days! I’m in so much pain! My Daith and Tragus in both ears done 6 weeks ago had no problems . I can’t believe how much trouble this double helix is. I’ve only used the Neilmed after piercing care mist, and done everything correct. I have a travel pillow, so I don’t sleep on them. So not sure why this is happening. I have a feeling if he would have just done the hoops, instead of studs, this wouldn’t be happening. There’s no room for the swelling. I asked if he left plenty of room for swelling and he said yes, then this happens. I just hope I’m ok with this situation for a couple more days. I think a piercer should squeeze you in for an emergency like this. Not make you wait 2 days.

I got my first lobe piercing (the ones usually babies get) in the end of June, and it's now November. My left ear is constantly producing pus and sometimes bleeds and isn't really moving much. My right ear (I believe is totally fine but I wouldn't know) can be pushed and prodded, it's very mobile, whereas my left barely is. For the first couple months, I did clean them every day and then in the last two months I've cleaned them like twice a month. I haven't changed out my earrings at all, even though I have attempted to change them three times. Is my left ear infected?
You can go to your piercer and ask if you are still worried
I got a triple love piercing and I put in cheap time and true earrings and a week after it was still swollen and angry.and I cleaned it with tea tree oil 2 times a day it helped my nose piercing but it didn't work for this one. So a couple days ago I put in a good plated stud I got pierced with at walmart(it was my first piercing I was 13 I didn't know) it never got infected. So I changed one of the triple lives out (because I lost the other one) and it isn't angry tender and pusy. But the other one with the cheap price of poo is tender red and irritated. I'm gonna wait a week to switch it to the gold plated just to make sure it is fully healed. The triple love piercings are 5 weeks and 2 days old. I'm still a noob on piercings even tho I have 8 now and I'm learning as time goes on. all my piercings was from a time span of the ages 13 to 15. wish me luck and have a wonderful day!

My daiths are irritated and swollen ive had them for a month, they have a large amount of crust i have to keep removing and occasionally puss comes out. I was using eye wash solution due to my sensitive skin and when it got infected I used achiole wipes and an ointment. I have a doctors appointment in two days not sure what to do between now and then
I got my piercing (second lobe) on the 24 of dec and it’s Jan 2 and I switched my earrings hahaha 😅 to a clear replacement holder thingy and it’s so fricken sore maybe an infection or maybe it’s because I just switched it and had to force through the pain 😂😭 lol

@@gliif My piercing ended up being okay! Just make sure I touched it with clean hands and cleaned my jewelry. The clear replacement wasn’t a clear earring it was like an outer casing for the earring to go inside (from Claire’s) and the stem was too short with the backing so I bought actual clear earrings from Walmart and it worked fine! Stinged a little going it (bc the end was pointy) but it worked great!
@@gliif I think if it’s infected you should clean your ear and maybe do a flush (?) (I think it’s the salt water mixture not too sure) you could try a cold compress. If it gets worse see a doctor before it turns to a keloid
@@malarieenriquez thanks, but here's an update. my younger brother bumped his head on my ear where the piercing is and it bled a lot. I thought I could save it but I can't. My mom took it off, and it's fine now. Any suggestions about the scar tho? It left a dark patch. And also, can I repierce maybe after a year or so?
@@gliif I think he can repierce it later it will leave scar tissue so it might be a bit tender while piercing so it could be a little more sore to get it pierced. for dark spots I recommend to try using tea tree oil twice a day you could also use bio oil for scarring it’s from target
I’m still getting over a very bad daith piercing infection I’m on my antibiotics one more day and I’ve been cleaning the piercing two times a day religiously I hope it helps so I don’t have to go to the hospital and retire the piercing because I love it

This white discharge came out of it, a little bit of blood, and a lot of crusty’s. It doesn’t hurt at all tho, I’ve been cleaning it with after care should I be concerned? Its also not red or puffy

I had my cartilage piercing for 7 years and it would not heal and every time I would go to change it to see if a different pice of jewelry would help it hurt like hell to take it out and put back in!! So I was tired of it hurting all the time so I just retired it, but I got my conch pierced 1 year agao and that heald just fine with no problems I find that really odd!
It’s bizarre how certain piercings just won’t take to the body, but can be in similar areas to those that are perfectly fine. My double helix has one piercing that’s perfectly fine, but the other still has a tiny bump on it.

Wait I know I’m a little late to the party but got my nose pierced a few days ago. There was the crusty but which was good but I put it in a salt soak, got it wet and when it came out, the piercing had some yellow stuff around it. Deanna Johnson DONT CLEAN WITH RUBBING ALCOHOL think about an open wound. when you put alcohol on it it closes so imagine what happens when you do that to your fresh piercing with a whole earring in it

I got my double piercings done 4 days ago, the first two days it went perfectly fine until the third day, the left one was so itchy that I tried to change the earring (big mistake), the other one wouldn't go in, so I put the other one back, it obviously went really swollen and red.
Today it was "better", everytime I clean them, they get swollen and red, I just turn them slightly to clean them, they've been itchy but I don't touch them.
I haven't experienced any discharge or fever, no t even burning. I'm concerned about them because they were perfectly fine until yesterday, I've been cleaning them with salt and water...I guess they're doing better, please help...is it an infection? :((

So I just got my piercing like 2 and a half days ago I got my second one on my ear lobe and I got my cardaliges done on both ears i me and my friend cleaned earnings and put a different one in both ears beacause the horse shoes looked bad so we did that it looked ok but then the next day I took my shirt of and my left one fell out and I could not find it so i quickly grabbed another one and I didn't clean it because I dint want my piercing to close but the back of the peircing hole did so I re peirced and it hurt and then it was red and swollen i hoped it was getting better but then I was cleaning it just now and I take the back off to clean it cause its easier to clean that way and then it fell out again and I had to push it thru again and it hurt more this time and now its swollen again and hurts a little so is it an infection or is it just like that cause I had to re peirce it? The piercing is swollen and red a bit in the 1st day but in the 2nd day it heal ithink cuz the swollen and redness is gone. Now the 3rd day my left ear has swollen and has redness in it and last night it so itchy. Now its the 3rd day my left ear is swollen and red cuz i accidentally take the earring out and when i put it back it starts to itch and swollen and red. Pls tell me, is it infected? I got pierced in August 9 and now its August 12.

Anyone have any advice? I had a helix piercing done over two years ago and had problems with it from the start, swollen, red, painful, and got a fair sized keloid or hypertrophic scar (not sure which) formed over it. I soaked it and cleaned it religiously, nothing helped. Eventually the swelling went away but still had the keloid. Throughout two years it would sometimes be okay but I would have flare ups where it would be red and painful again. I eventually decided I would take it out since I didn’t want to have to deal with it for the rest of my life. I waited till it was at a time where it wasn’t irritated and cleaned it twice a day as it was healing. It looks better - the keloid has sorta gone away but the back of the piercing now has a bump and I am worried it is filled with pus and will get or already is infected. What should I do?
I actually have a helix piercing (the first one I got back in 2016 that started my love of piercings) that wasn’t 100% healed until roughly 2.5 years after I got it. I almost took mine out, but after I actually stopped caring for it like I had been, it cleared up! Was definitely an anomaly, since I would normally never recommend stopping care.
Some people just can’t pierce due to constant keloids. Go to your piercer for Advice
If it’s burning and itching is it infected?
I just got my ears pierced last week and yesterday their was blood on my right ear but it didn't hurt but it itches,is that normal?? (Please answerr i really wanna know wether my ear is healing or if it's getting infected)
(By the way the bleeding is in my earlobe)
