    Thank you for this info, I had P0014, P0053 & 54 and P0140 all flag up, followed this vid and reset, problem gone 👍

      Did this but it still shows the error. I reckon it needs to be reset. Do I need a device to reset, or it can be done via the car, like service intervals reset? 🙏

      @@cybcarr I also had some of the faults come back, I reckon there were multiple faults, after cleaning this valve in the vid, one fault code disappeared, turned out both pre and post cat lambda had gone as well, so I had to change those as well

    This not a sensor....this is a solenoid valve..for Timing avance..via oil control...rotates the Timing...gear via oil pressure..

    Ok, I hope this will help, i have check engine, very loud sound when this happen while driving, i will answer here if this will solve this problem.

      @@maroon5maroon556 Yes it does! Problem is not return to this day, if you have the problem with losing power and loud sound of engine reving you should try this, I bought a new sensor, its cheap and solve the problem in my case.

      @@maroon5maroon556 Yes it does! If you have a problem with losing power and loud engine reving you should check this sensor. In my case changing for new sensor totally solve all problems and that error didn't show up until this day.
      PS. I dunno why my anwser year ago disappeared.

      @@timetoplaygames2449I have Peugeot 207cc 1.6VTI. I don't remember the brand of solenoid, the most important is, that should by changed for new one if you wanna peace for ever :)
      It's really cheap part and easy to replace.

    Please tell me what voltage must reach the vti cmp sensor in Peugeot 207 1.4, mine is 3.19 v
    I don't know if it's not enough.

    Someone on my street has a 207CC with 1.4 VTI engine. The engine runs really bad and when she tries to accelerate it jumps like mad. Could the CMP sensor be bad?

      A sensible suggestion and the only one that's guaranteed to work.
      Get rid and buy another vehicle.
      My 207 was a total load of garbage.
      Depolloution light on average twice a year.
      Always serviced properly by main dealer.
      Always drove rough, problems were never conclusive.
      Brought brand new, scrap at 11 years and 22000 miles.
      2 cylinder heads, one clutch, then a snapped belt leading to engine write off.
      Don't wait for it to happen mate.
      Get rid now while you can.
      It's sound advice.

    How can i know if it’s not working/not working good? Some times i fell that my 95 hp has no power at low rpm 1800-2500. can you please explain how to know that? Check engine light is not turning on.

      if it's not working it would be difficult to open and close with a screwdriver. this device opens and closes oil to the cams which effect how the car is running. its to do with oil pressure (that's how it works on the gti variable cam timing) if it can't open or close because its stuck because of debris in the mesh or beyond. Hope that helps in finding out if you understand what it does.

      No ! no with water if you dont have cleaner you can use petrol

    I have P0011 on my peugeot 207 1.4 2010 have followed your tip but to no avail also tried replacing the vvt solenoid and camshaft sensors but again no joy I'm stumped as to what's next

      @@adeeb754 Might well be that the Timing has slipped you may well need to source a mechanic to sort it out

      tighten the hose clamp on the throttle body and clean the MAF sensor, that's what happened to me, it was very noisy and loose power but now it's ok

      Indeed it was the timing chain had jumped the vvt cog a mechanic friend sorted it and saved me a small fortune in garage costs he was well rewarded for his time

      Could also be a head gasket leak, stuff getting into your engine from a leak in the gasket and messing up the engine

      When you remove the solenoid you should check it does the spring inside move easily back and forward. If the spring is fine you should only clean it and put it back on its place.

      @@watchandfix6724 yea I have p0014 and a cyl 2 misfire, I took the solenoid out, tested it and the wires and put it back in without cleaning it

      @@Varenikismetana check the misfire with change the ingiot coils from cylinder 2 to cylinder 3 and delete the trouble code and if again is misfire in cylinder 2 change the spark plugs or if misfire on cylinder 3 change the ignition coil

      take out the plastic sieve 2:08 ( rarely helps but try ) And you need to check it out if the electrical part of the sensor works

      how often that error occurs or is constant? check the alternator and battery, if the voltage is low these errors may occur

      @@watchandfix6724 well today we noticed my mini has 2 of these valves... maybe the other one is damaged. Can this even be possible ?
      These error codes are constant, when i try to delete them they‘re occur in like 50-60km again

      in that case it is best to measure the compression. is the engine running well at idle? Have you ever changed a chain?
