This solution worked for me 🎉. Thank you so much! After the fix I needed to reset the Engine Control Unit (ECU) to clear the warning message. You can do this by disconnecting the car battery for a few minutes, then reconnecting it.
I have a Peugeot 207 1.6 VTI - the antipollution fault could be related to either a head gasket issue or ECU issue, mine appeared for a day then disappeared the day after, I believe I have a vacuum leak in the intake system somewhere causing the miss fire (the engine shuddering + shaking) the antipollution fault is caused due to a bad air/fuel mix ratio so recommended fixes are - look for vacuum leaks, inspect spark plugs (these need to be changed every few thousand miles), look at the fuel injectors (have them changed if necessary) get a mechanic to look at the coil packs too (these are known to fail on the 1.4 and 1.6 petrol engines ) if nothing else works look at the PCV valve(this is responsible for regulating the blow-by gasses in the engine and put them into the intake system if this gets clogged or stuck could cause values to be off therefore causing the fault) get this replaced if necessary, hope this helps people.
Peugeot 207 1,4 hdi . once I had a fuel pressure valve and once a fuel pressure regulator and always just change for new one but same story I was loosing power because of pressure
If you drive your car more likely for short distances then engine will not get hot enough to start the regenerating process to clean the cloged particulate filter resulting in a antipollution fault. Drive your car to a motorway or empty dual carriage way (best in nights). The temperature meter should be showing above 60°C when you begin with this process. Place 3rd gear and drive your car at 3000-3500 rev /min for 15 to 20 minutes to let the ecu to kick the regeneration process. Keep driving car for 15 minutes in this state will be enough to clean your catalytic converter and your problem will be solved. But if it doesn't then the problem is with your catalytic converter and more probabily you need to change it. This worked for me 100%
thats a VVT valve - hydraulic valve to adjust cam timing - if its blocked and not adjusting the timing correctly the engine will be running ineffeciently , bad burn rates
Where to find this sensor on the citroen c2 1.4i vtr manual petrol car and Also where is the temperature gauge for this model cause I see where the fault appears but not sure if that's the engine temperature or room temp
Good fix but that is not a sensor, it's a solenoid valve used to divert oil flow. Don't know what it does there but I have come across them many times in hydraulic systems.

Hi Paul, the engine management light will definitely come on with the anti-pollution, but there could be another issue behind the management light. The vehicle in this video is a Petrol engine by the way. 😎
@@green-crocs-fixes1520 yeah I know, I was just wondering if the diesel sensor would be similar to the petrol.
