I have a 2022 H6 Vanta and I love it! Personally I have not had any issues with the car where I know a number of people have I would highly recommend GWM as a whole since owning. The only thing I would change at the tyres that came on the car, the worst tyres I have had on a car before. I ended up getting rid of the tyres that came on the car and throwing on a set of Good Year Assurance MaxGuards and I love them! Fixed all the issues I had with the car

I purchased the Haval Jolion in November 2023 after a lot of doubts and skepticism. Being a relatively new player from China, I wasn’t entirely sure about its reliability and performance compared to the well-established Japanese and European brands. However, after nearly 1.5 years of ownership, I can confidently say that this car has exceeded my expectations in every way.
First and foremost, the build quality is impressive. The Jolion feels solid and well-made, with no rattles or squeaks even after extensive use. The materials used in the interior give a premium feel, far surpassing what I expected at this price point.
Speaking of features, the Jolion is packed with advanced technology that rivals (and often surpasses) more expensive competitors. From the intuitive infotainment system to safety features like adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and a 360-degree camera, it has everything you’d want in a modern SUV.
The ride is smooth and comfortable, with ample cabin space for passengers and luggage. The fuel efficiency is reasonable for an SUV of this size, and the engine delivers a decent balance of power and performance for both city driving and highway cruising.
Chinese automakers like Haval are undoubtedly giving Japanese and European manufacturers a run for their money. The unbeatable pricing combined with high-quality features and excellent build makes the Jolion a serious contender in its segment.
If you’re on the fence about trying a Chinese car, I’d encourage you to test-drive the Jolion. Like me, you might find yourself pleasantly surprised and ultimately thrilled with the decision to go for it. This SUV has truly changed my perception of Chinese cars.

I have been driving the other Haval Jolion Ultra Hybrid for nearly 2 yrs with nearly 900K range on a full tank using Fuel 95. So far happy . They have a cheaper battery that failed in less than 15months which cost me nearly 300$ to replace it. Battery warranty is 12months only. The hybrid battery so far is very good with 8yrs warranty and it lacks the punch uphill with 1.5Litre Engine. Overall pretty good.

It’s about to tick over 55,000 klm.
    Observations:
    • Paint on front bumper does suffer stone chips (freeway) easily.
    • as my daily driver I am used to it, but my partner still hates the screen searching for HVAC & radio- needs better short cuts
    • it’s powerful & has zip but my partner prefers the transmission in ‘ECO mode’ to make takeoff & gear changes smoother (dulled)

Prefer the styling of the previous version, smaller boot space is definitely a downside.
Inbuilt sat navigate is just another added cost to keep up to date, much prefer to use my smart phone.

Just like a heat pump you set your desired temp and it will get you there the fastest way possible. I can’t father people making it 18 only to turn it up later to 21 because it’s now blowing out on cold….same for heat…it’s not going to warm you any quicker.

Well at least it doesn't lift its rear end under heavy braking like the GWM Tank does. That's at least a plus. I'd give it no more than a 4.5/10 . Improvements to overall refinement, reliability, quality, driveability , NVH, economy are incremental at best. Resale & depreciation need work. Haval still like nearly all Chinese brands have a lot more work to do . Its not a complete fail. But nor is it a big tick .

In short, the Haval Jolion Hybrid looks sporty, but is noisy, slow on the highway, thirsty if you do any highway running,, has a tiny boot, has a huge turning circle and ordinary handling. However, it will be peppy on a test drive in the city... as long as you don't push too hard, you'll be fine.
