I ended up getting rid of the tyres that came on the car and throwing on a set of Good Year Assurance MaxGuards and I love them! Fixed all the issues I had with the car
I was actually checking out this car and saw your video. I don’t mind these changes at all. Much suit my needs anyway and 1k cheaper. Couldn’t be happier.
We purchased Haval Jolion Lux las May last year, driven 21000ks without any problem, the complaint we have is the driver seat back would have been better with more padding. Otherwise we love it.
I took a test drive, and it was amazing. I couldn't even feel the gears shifting-it would take a real car enthusiast to notice that. I'm very impressed. I enjoyed it much more than the Haval H6 HEV.
After researching and finding out Chinese car manufacturers hired European and engineers from other car manufacturers I brought a h6 hybrid really impressed after owning Toyota and holders for the price and warranty who cares if I sell cheaper than a Toyota because I pay half the price for a good build quality and most car parts are made in china anyway 🎉🎉🎉🎉 also averaged 5.5 to 6 litres per 100klms hilly and city hwy driving
Bought a Jolion Hybrid when they first came out 2 years ago, it's been an absolutely brilliant car, no issues whatsoever and 5.4l/100km overall. Prefer the styling of the previous version, smaller boot space is definitely a downside. Inbuilt sat navigate is just another added cost to keep up to date, much prefer to use my smart phone. DAB radio would be a waste in NZ as it's a service that's not commercially available here.
We have a 2021 H6 lux. It’s about to tick over 55,000 klm. Observations: • Paint on front bumper does suffer stone chips (freeway) easily. • as my daily driver I am used to it, but my partner still hates the screen searching for HVAC & radio- needs better short cuts • it’s powerful & has zip but my partner prefers the transmission in ‘ECO mode’ to make takeoff & gear changes smoother (dulled) • electronic minders need better calibration but have learned to override them.

I have been driving the other Haval Jolion Ultra Hybrid for nearly 2 yrs with nearly 900K range on a full tank using Fuel 95. So far happy . They have a cheaper battery that failed in less than 15months which cost me nearly 300$ to replace it. Battery warranty is 12months only. The hybrid battery so far is very good with 8yrs warranty and it lacks the punch uphill with 1.5Litre Engine. Overall pretty good.
It looks like a relatively good package, but why the hell did they reduce the sound deadening? One of my friends has the previous Hybrid model and it was really nice on the highway and course chip road. 6-7dB doesn't sound like a lot but it really is quite a massive downgrade. That is a make or break criteria for me when I start shopping around again.
OMG! You are right! This is disastrous. 6-7DB as per the reading is a humongous comedown. No sir, this is not for me. I think the MG HS petrol (the new one) is much better insulated

Cause most buyers of this car are for the family (including me), I often need to swap drivers with my partner. That could be a very critical argument of whether we should consider the vehicle, Thanks Paul !!
In short, the Haval Jolion Hybrid looks sporty, but is noisy, slow on the highway, thirsty if you do any highway running,, has a tiny boot, has a huge turning circle and ordinary handling. However, it will be peppy on a test drive in the city... as long as you don't push too hard, you'll be fine.
