  • Disconnecting the battery is not mandatory but a good practice. I changed all four spark plugs of course. Do use a torque wrench, spark plug torque is 25 Nm. Spark plug socket size is 16 mm.
If you have compressed air use that to clean the pits, I did not have at the time but a vacuum cleaner is better than nothing.

Thanks for uploading this, buddy. Can't believe I've been paying to have this done up until curiosity brought me to your video. I'm absolutely fucking buzzing! Have a good one.

I've been having rough idle, misfire and slow acceleration. I'm going to change my spark plugs as I don't know when they were last changed hopefully this sorts my problem

Hello great video, I just want to make sure what type of spark plug is for this car?

Spark plugs types are very much specific to the engine model. Try some online service like this: ngksparkplugs.com/en/part-finder

You wouldn't know the spark gap, would you?

@@N0t4v41l4ble Found it. for 1,6l engines it's 0,9mm and should not exceed 1,1mm. At that point the spark is worn and should be replaced.
