If the spark plugs were old, would the digital readout still read high mpg? Not sure how it measures it because I am not getting anywhere near what is says
I tried doing this but couldn’t get the coil pack out as one of the torques screws has threaded on the face so I couldn’t turn it, any ideas on how to get it out would be appreciated?
I done all this and my astra 2012 plate is still missing, any ideas what could cause this problem, its not the casket as it ain't losing water or over heating and not mixing, im at my wits end trying to solve this problem Your advice would be much appreciated God bless
Hi I just got the same car and I have that juddering. I put it back and they changed the coil pack. They said they saw a bit of corrosion but I still feel it juddering! I bet it needs new spark plugs aswell! Its got 65k on the clock with full vauxhall service history.....apparently! Think ill put it to my local garage for a proper service

My inforamtion is that the genuine GM plugs produced by Bosch... What is the best spark plug for A16XER? I bought the same car (Astra J 2001, A16XER) one month ago and i hear the same voice ont he video 7:15-7:21 under the engine is idling. What cause this?
I'm lucky that I can just give the registration to the parts supplier and they then supply the right part. If in doubt, contact the supplier and they'll let you know the correct part number.
Hi i need help. I have in cilynder 1, 2,3 the values, 146, 37, 13. I have no codes and lights in dashboard, but my engine lose power, is shaking and i feeling this inside in the car, the rpm is not normal, maybe i have to change the ignition coil becouse is the original of the car. My car has 161000 km. Need help

Great video. My only sugestion would be to disconnect car battery before romoving coil pack.
Astra doesn't like to be disconnected from power.
I even changed the battery with a bridge from a temporary support battery.

Should you not adjust the gap before installing?
basic maintenance for any motor vehicle can make it last 5x the expected life.

Done it, engine still runs so I guess it went well.
Just pulled my daughters plugs69k same car engine owned from new by my dad. Original plugs main dealer serviced until 58k scutter bags

Hi does a fault spart plugs can make a car doesn't start but engine do chackle when take over the key
Unlikely it would fail all at once. You would get a misfire first.

I have the same catr when under load it judders ever so slightly like pulling 2nd and using a high could thi k it might be the coil pack
I just bought a 2013 1.6 petrol exact same problem. Put it back to dealer they changed coil pack but it still judder. What fixed yours?
