There are 20,000 players, so I imagine there are a lot of payouts. And the payouts are probably lower because there is higher upkeep due to more dealers and more space required at a 20,000 person event.

With 20 k players the number of amateurs has to be huge..so stadistically it could be like an amateurs Ft,wich is great and i love it.
I'm still new and I'm trying to figure something out: at 09:46 the commentator said Foutty needs running 8s or running Js to win. But I don't understand how. two more 8s would've given Foutty quads, which I get. But what would Js have done for Foutty? Herrick was holding a J already so he would've had a full house, how would Js have benefitted Foutty here?
Just misspoke I'm sure. He should have said running 8s or running Aces.
I actually played in this event and you really don't get a feel for how big the fields are until you're in the room. It's a spectacle.

The chip values were hilarious/ridiculous. Nothing like betting a quarter of a $Billion on a poker hand.
The chips represent an arbitrary value (they have no direct cash value, but have cash value in prize money). In this scenario, 20,000 players have all started with 10,000 chips each. These remaining players have all of those 20,000 players' chips.

Nit picking here... The title of this video says "After Beating 20,000 players" but did he really "beat" 20,000 players, or did he win a tournament with an entry field of 20,000? It's one thing to actually play and defeat 20,000 people, it's a whole other thing to simply be the last man standing in a tournament. If you get my drift.
