    Man Dwan played that perfectly. For Apicella to play that reckless in both bluff hands against one of poker's best just shows he was trying to create a story for the media & friends. He won't last much longer playing like that.

      My thought is that he's trying to rep pocket QQ or 99 continuing, but the turn bet was far too large and messed his story up. He tried to rep quads or full but it was too late by then.

      @@inkedcoder Doesn't matter what he's repping. Dwan was outchipped 3-to-1 and called a turn bet for half his stack on a wet board. He's folding the river here approximately never. The fact that Apicella didn't realize this and kept loading the gun is just dumb.

      In the second hand, a river bet might have gotten Dwan to fold his flush because there was three of a kind on the board. Of course, he can't see Dwan's cards like we can.

      Why TF do you ever bluff shove the river here? Even if Dwan puts him on a big diamond draw and had a Q, he's not folding trips there. If he was on a diamond draw, he's not calling a river bluff shove anyway. Just take your c-bet shot and then shut it down. Why TF would anyone want to inflate a player like durrr's stack this deep in the Main? Just absolute stupidity because after putting half his stack in calling the turn, he's calling the river almost 100/100 times with anything which beats what Apicella has. Literally the only way that works is if Dwan has the Ad and missed the flush.

      Every single one. In no world is he going that deep and calling half his stack on the turn on that board and not calling the river. Even if we couldn't see the hands, I'd have bet a large sum of money that Dwan was calling any river bet.

    Depending with T3 offsuit on the BB against one of the best poker pro in the world Tom Dwan and then try to bluff it off is probably the worst move anyone can take lol. Not only that, the tried to bluff it off again in another hand 😅

    For me definetly the most impressive thing is how Ponakovs makes a raise from 25k to 135k and come back to the same EXACT position. Really, just go foward and backward and you can see he doesnt even move... At 17:47

    By checking down to the River, allows more chances for board to pair.
    Top FLUSH (any flush, minus the straight one) loses to any flopped or turned set & of course loses to any quads that the River may pair the board with.

    I miss the intro music of the golden years 2003 to 2005 as well as the feature (TV) tables from back then (poker tables should have no corners or edges!! >> Feng Shui ). And the current electro music does anything but hype the mood of the audience. Long live US-Countrymusic and the WSOP Coverage of yesteryear!

      @@bomblade15 Even on the river. Even if the player tries to muck face down, the dealer should turn them over in that instance. It's tough to tell as it's right out of camera view, but if you look closely, it appears the dealer did table the T3.
