Just got their 10ml of this and their new release of matching deodorant! Killer combo, i got their no89 and i have to say out of the two, this is a big favorite, Great all year around office scent💚💚💚
Not a huge fan of Korous and not a huge fan of the current formulation of Polo Green… But Elite is the best of them both with it’s own twists… I dig it… Should have worn it today… But went with Chanel Pour Monsieur.. My wife reorganized our bedroom last night… I was in Chicago for the day on work.. flew back around 6pm at night.. exhausted. Walk in… house is in shambles with all her reorganization in process… but no biggie. Walk in the bedroom… Where 80% of my collection is at… And she has reorganized the entire thing. I have basically no idea where anything is at. Like most collectors, I put things in special areas for specific purposes…. But…. Had to bit my lip and smile… it did look very nice and she was trying to do a nice thing.. she even built me some extra shelves.. I’ll have to wait for a night she isn’t around and completely reorganize it again… haha… All good… first world problems… not even a problem.. just a thing… Men… find a good woman and be good to them..
I finished my 1.7 oz bottle earlier this year. A perfectly fine scent, and it's certainly clean, but definitely not special. I have so many wish list fragrances that I will not be re-purchasing. That said, I wouldn't talk anyone off Floris Elite but to me it's a 6 or 6.5 out of 10. There are many other Floris offerings I'd like to try. Solid review.
Well to me it smells pretty high end and better quality than many classics but hey what do I know I just spray cologne and wear gold chains lol 6.5 is still solid though 👍🏻
This is good stuff, you mentioned you have never smelled bay leaf in a fragrance but after watching your review of capucci pour home, I got it, has west Indian bay, very similar effect all-around to elite and the other classics, although capucci s anise notes give it a more barber shop tone, I was lucky enough to visit the Floris store in London, they have a huge table with little tablets of fragrance under glass bell jars so you can smell them all, also it looks like something out of Downton abbey! Great reviews as always, classics need to be recognised more, let's all smell great!

Elite, no. 89, JF, 007 and Mulberry Fig are my must-have Floris London fragrances. Santal and Jermyn Street are lovely but after I polished off my first bottles...never felt the desire to repurchase unfortunately. Mulberry Fig is probably my favorite of the bunch.
i got a vintage bottle (late 90s early 2000 with the very plain label and dark juice) about a year ago. at first it seemed like it went off a bit, tried it a few times and same thing. so i just put it into storage and counted it as a loss lol. very recently i pulled it out again, and lo and behold its come back to life. it reminds me of a few other things, mostly a smoother less brash version of Eucris by Geo F Trumper and it also comes off as a more substantial and higher end version of vintage Kanon by Scannon (which is what my father wore most growing up). i definitely enjoy it and im glad my bottle sorted itself out lol. great review as always man
@@ScentsOfSouthJersey they killed kanon with reformulations (not suprising since its not the most popular thing ever haha). didnt know at the time but the first time i heard somebody complain about a reformulation was my dad like 25 years ago lol. its like powdery and stuff now, it used to basically just be straight up woods, a little touch of moss/sage/slight florals and thats almost it
Oh, I forgot to mention in my comment that it smells VERY SIMILAR to the original LaCoste. If you like/love the original LaCoste, Floris Elite is absolutely a must get.
I would love to get a pre-2017 when they started to regulate oak moss in skin products which really has effected the longevity in classics. Paco Rabanne Por Homme is the only classic I can get 8 hours from. Versace Por Homme isn’t bad either. Jomashop has good prices on testers of Elite, I’m thinking of grabbing one but some people are saying it’s a skin scent.

In England it’s completely banned. Kind of stupid because like 10% of kids now are allergic to peanuts but they aren’t banned.

You gotta review Laventure by Al Haramain! Considered an aventus clone but its really its own thing. Very woody and more lemony rather than pineapple. It reminds me of how downed branches smell in national forests back in California with some lemon juice sprinkled on. I think you would love it, especially considering you can get a full bottle for around 30 bucks.
