I absolutely love Creed. Buying them over the past couple years(mainly hitting up friends, relatives & co-workers going to Paris for vacations-they cost half the price over there at the two Creed boutiques- or during Neiman Marcus’s Black Friday sales), I’ve got 9 of them now and wear them by seasons: Spring-GIT & MI Summer-VIW & Erolfa Fall-Himalaya & BdP Winter-Royal Oud & OS Year round-Aventus
Yup I get mine all in Paris, not to mention the 11% VAT refund you get at the airport for being an international visitor. I spend around 700-800 Euros on perfumes when I go there every time and I get 70-80 Euros back on the purchases.
THANK YOU! I DONT KNOW WHY SO MANY PEOPLE LOVE AVENTUS BECAUSE ITS SUCH A BASIC SCENT AND THERE ARE CLONES THAT SMELL WAY BETTER. ROYAL OUD IS THE BEST CREED SCENT BY FAR!
I really like Tabarome. I was looking for a masculine woodsy fougère. I smelled several fragrances at the Tom Ford counter. Then, I walked over to Creed. Tabarome was WAY better than any of the woodsy Tom Ford’s. Tabarome also smelled like it was made with higher quality ingredients. It sat close to my skin, but lasted several hours.
Creed pure white cologne is amazing and I'm sort of glad the rest of the world at large hasn't realized it yet. Aventus lost something when the world figured out how good it was and it was just talked and done to death which was sad to see for Aventus bc it is truly a special fragrance.
I’d have to agree with you for the most part on your rankings for the ones I’ve tried (most of them) My big disagreement would have to be with Viking and Viking Cologne. I think OG Viking is one of their best and must own on my list and that Viking Cologne is trash. All subjective though so no beef on this end lol. Great ranking!
Royal Mayfair I can’t get enough of…Royal oud is insanely outstanding and silver mountain water. But I had a client who layered aventus with virgin island water and it was then outstanding.
Of what I've tried, I pretty much agree, though I'd put Aventus slightly ahead of GIT. One big surprise was the lack of love for Bois du Portugal. It's such a sophisticated and unique scent. I found some great fragrances in trying to find something that smells like it, though ultimately have found nothing I would really consider even close
As it happens I've just recently come across the closest match to BdP I've ever found - Lalique Pour Homme. In comparing it to 2016 batch BdP, the Lalique is a bit softer and muddled, where BdP is clearly a few notes and high quality bergamot and lavender. The Lalique becomes a skin scent after 3-4h so it doesn't have the longevity of BdP, but it's still a lovely composition, a classic fougere and honestly good enough for me. To compare, while Cool Water is excellent and very close to Green Irish Tweed, I don't think it's close enough to go for CW instead. LPH is plenty good enough.
George from FA is buying a ticket to come visit you with that MI ranking. 😂🤣😂 I actually have that one as a must have. It’s really unique and the smell is heavenly for me.
GIT is a true timeless classic. While there have been attempts to copy it or be close to it, IMHO none of the clones come close to it. Same can't be said about other Creeds like Aventus, SMW, MI, Org.Santal all of whose clones are way long lasting at fraction of their price and come quite close. GIT on the other hand is super long lasting ,that Sandlwood and Ambergris just lingers for hours
I own Viking Silver Mountian Water Royal Oud Aventus Original Vetiver Green Irish Tweed Original Santal Bois de Portugal is en route, my only blind buy ever so hope its as good as people say. Funny though, Green Irish Tweed smells like Christmas to me and Royal Oud is so hard for me to wear. I bought it because it was different than anything else and it comes in when I have a certain mood. Viking is by far my favorite of them all. Theres a few on your list I still haven't tried, I do have about 7 more samples in route so I'm looking forward to trying them.
Very good list. I'd probably lower viking cologne one, move SMW up and virgin island water one up too. Then spice and woods all the way to the top. It's the creed I like most but the price might not make sense for those that don't fall in love with it.
i'd have MI and Erolfa higher, in the keep it category. Really like them both. The rest i agree with more or less. Think Royal Mayfair and Royal Water are the most underrated ones of the bunch, barely get a mention out there.
Just started trying Creed and GIT is something I wanted to try for a long time but didn't love on my first smell. It's starting to grow on me the more I try it, but I enjoy SMW a lot more. Really wanna try Royal Oud and BdP!
Interesting opinions for the house of Creed, Mr. Daver!!!! I respectfully disagree with your take on Creed Erolfa, for I actually dig it, and Himalaya, for it is just not my cup of tea in fragrance. In case this is your last video before Christmas, I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas.
I almost 100% agree with you. First of all, GIT is the best perfume on earth and other planets as well :). I even spray it when I go to the bed. However, I never ever got any compliment from colleagues over years wearing it. Weird. The SMW is very clean and classy. It deserves more in your list. By the ways, is GIT still your signature scent? And royal oud is very classy for first 20 minutes only. And thanks a lot for your always honest reviews
After careful consideration and after trying all the Creed fragrances, to me Green Irish Tweed is Creed’s best. I also really like Silver Mountain water but it sadly doesn’t last as long but the scent is top notch. I’ve tried to understand the Aventus hype, smelling it over and over to see if I would change my mind and in all honesty… I think it’s ok but nothing special, even my gf agrees.

GIT, Santal, Aventus if they didn’t have a million clones out now, and Viking cologne. Smelled Viking cologne in Vegas recently and it actually impressed me.
I own BdP as well but to me an even better and superior EDP than this for the older crowd and along the same lines as BdP is Derby by Guerlain. I own both and I don't even wear BdP as I have Derby. Derby has more silage, much more lasting power (at least 6-8 hours more), a much better dry down scent. BdP smells amazing initially but the dry down is where Derby takes the lead and never looks back. I think BdP is very very nice but there are others that are similar to it that it's not entirely unique enough for someone not to mistake it for another cologne that is similar to it. Try Derby. If you like BdP, you will love Derby.

Never understand hype around MI. I love GIT and Aventus. 2 classic scents. Original Santal i like, but i have Montblanc Individuel, so i don't need it. Royal Oud i also like, but it slightly reminds me of Hemingway by Histoires de Parfums that i own, so i don't feel that i need to buy it.

And how can you put the Neroli Savage in that territory its a beast of a spring summer fragrance. And Virgin Island Water how could you???? It transports you to a tropical island excellent hot , high heat fragrance .
Aren't many of them (according to other reviewers) watered down versions of their former selves, but now more expensive? Based on this, you could trash most of them. 🤔 Own Aventus, but I'd rather spend money on more interesting stuff.
Prices will always rise over time because of inflation. You can actually track the price increases with the rate of inflation and they’re pretty close. I can’t say about them being watered down, though. I don’t really keep track of them over time.
Imperial is a lot better than many of the ones in forgettable. Put some respect on Imperial name 😂. Virgin Island Water also is ranked way higher. Even if you going to put it in that row, at least it should be on the upper end of the row. Lol

Lol
I have a 30ml decant of royal Mayfair which was 29ml too much for me. Just smells like strong bug spray sort of lysol scent sort of I regret buying it
Hey where would you place creed queen of silk?
Himalaya!!! Smells like a freshly shaved man... (forget the mountain / winter discussion - just get it)
No Spice & Wood?
GIT better than Aventus no way, Aventus have layers to it GIT don’t
Bois portigual is amazing I get so many compliments , it's a man's cologne.
did you say "ranked" or "wanked?"
either one works
Uh oh. Spicy 🌶 Creed hot takes. Have you checked out that ghost perfumer book?
Ghost perfumer book?
@@FragranceBros new book about Creed and all their shenanigans. Gabe oppenheim i think is the name. Basically goes into their history and such. Guys been on mr smellys channel a couple of times.
@@FragranceBros oh yes it’s called the ghost perfumer check out mr smellys channel he hasa good breakdown of the book.
6:44 "Fatima"? ;) That was a joke made by MrSmelly1977 in one of his videos. I think 'fa' stands for Fabienne.
royal oud is my top creed ever made. far above every other creed
Forgot Aberdeen Lavender
Damn creed is never gonna give u anything again lol but that was bold compared to other reviews. But my only disagreement is aventus cologne is way higher on my list
Creed loves me. 😂
Ah man you lost me at Millesime lol but I REALLY love pure white
MI in trash category?? lol bold statement there
Jardin D'amalfi.
Mi
GIT
my top 3.
Erolfa smells nice but i find it perfoms very bad.
Millisime Imperial trash?! Yikes. Lol Rest of your list I pretty much agree with (the ones I've tried anyway).
He likes Viking cologne and hate Millisime Imperial. That says everything I need to know about this guy.😒
Imperial is top tier . Sorry fam
Only one thing Aventus should own please haha is my top 5 thankxx for the great video
You did Erolfa dirty 😂
Thinking Himalaya or SMW for my next scent box order, any suggestions from anyone who has either?
SMW is more unique
Aventus Cologne is a compliment machine. SMW is the king. My factual opinion of course 😎
Besides Viking Cologne which I wouldn't put under trash (it's below that 😆) and Spice and Wood which I would put under must buy (but nowhere near retail), I think we'd get along juuuuust fine. 😁
Viking is $400 Old Spice Spray😅🤷🏾♂️
@@MrCalverino 😄 Mmm Old Spice es berry nice. That rhymes.
VIKING IS ONE OF THE WORST FRAGS THAT I HAVE EVER SMELLED!
@@MLinktheprophet its $400 Old Spice spray
Call me crazy but I have EVERY Creed from the men's line 😎🤘🤣
THAT is a fanboy lol
Okay. YOU'RE CRAZY. 😜
What should I start out with? I'm split between Green Irish Tweed and Aventus. I've heard Armaf Club de Nuit intense is a great clone of Aventus. Not really sure what to do lol
prbly got a fake bottle of mi for cheap
6:24 "Erolfa came out a few years ago" lol, well, 1992...
😂 well if last year was 2019, then 1992 was a few years ago. 😂
